    I just bought some 4mm match grade 250 spine.. i shoot around 65-70lbs so I went a couple inches longer on my arrow since they are so stiff and they are absolute lasers… still dialing in everything but super impressed so far!

    I like heavier arrows. I'm running a 35" a2a bow, which is super stable. A heavy arrow really hits hard out of it

      How heavy? Im gonna be around 500 grains and 15% foc for deer season. Plenty heavy for me.

      I’ve found my 35” ata Prime loves a 500 grain arrow.I have about 14% foc.Exclusively hunt whitetail in Michigan,so long range trajectory isn’t something I think about too much.I’m using Victory Vap SS with the stock 50 grain halfsert and a 125 grain Magnus black hornet broadhead.I don’t see myself ever going lighter or switching from a micro ever again

    I shoot the Easton axis 5mm 340 spine. 455 grains. They fly great. I went to my pro shop Monday and they are all out. I am waiting for more to come in. I still have a dozen. But I shoot alot.

    I am currently running the maximum hunter 350 and I am looking to transition to the axis 4mm. What spine would you recommend I go with? I and shooting a 34” a2a at 70lbs

      probably the 250 spine or 300 but id look at a spine chart to be sure. Easton has one on their website.

      @@MichiganGreatOutdoors thanks man, I’m sittin in my shop with a dozen of these shafts as we speak wondering if I should nock tune these before I fletch em, I heard somewhere that these Easton accu carbon designs don’t need to be spine aligned, wanted to see if it made any difference on your arrows. Thanks for the insight bro!

    I just bought a dozen of these, first three arrows immediately needed to re-fletch due to how much penetration they get, you get any animals with them?

    • @MichiganGreatOutdoors
      @MichiganGreatOutdoors  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah they bury deep!! Yes I shot a nice public land 8pt with one last season quartering away, the arrow slammed into the opposite shoulder and snapped when he ran. He only went 60 yards.

      They have been phenomenal in the wind, I’ll be using em for elk this September and mule deer otc az. we’ll see what they can do

    Yeah brother the expensive micros(I shoot Victory Vap SS) aren’t any fun to lose or break.You’re talking $25 per arrow after fletching and wraps.I’ve gotten to the point of shooting only one at a time at targets,makes me much more cautious.A Robin Hood feels great but not when you figure the costs lol.

    • @MichiganGreatOutdoors

      Yeah, the price is crazy to lose any.... I wouldn't care if it was on a giant buck tho!!!

      Yeah I wouldn't recommend shooting groups with these. That was an expensive lesson to learn.

      @@MichiganGreatOutdoors No man, wasn’t me. I’m sure whoever it was understands. I only shot Friday (Hot AF) as I had other commitments on Saturday and Sunday. How’d you shoot?

      @@MichiganGreatOutdoors Just shot the Leupold course Friday and only lost one arrow, shot under armadillo, but the ground swallowed up my arrow. Usually shoot at least two courses but it was too hot and I wanted to spend some time at the Tethrd tent.
