- The plaintiff claims he was walking down the street when the defendant’s dog bit him, so he’s suing for an ambulance ride and medical bills. The defendant says the dog didn’t bite the plaintiff, and he’s making it all up. The defendant hasn’t even seen the wound.

Those plaintiffs should be ashamed of themselves. Grown and lying. As an ER nurse, when the ambulance brings someone in that is conscious, they give them a copy of the ambulance report. They have to sign it. That would’ve clearly stated that he was bitten, and what treatment, if any was rendered in the field.
Exactly....and where is their discharge summary from the ER? The ambulance report and discharge summary would be strong evidence.
Big hint: if someone is claiming an injury but won't show it to you, have no photos, and doesn't have any paperwork from a doctor.....you are being scammed. The defendant should have filed a countersuit for the cost of the dog she lost.

I’m a Mail Carrier and was attacked by a dog last June. I had 37 stitches and was off of work for 2 months. It makes me so angry that people went looking for a lawsuit over nothing. I’ve had little dogs bite my boots multiple times, a little shitzu like that couldn’t have even went through his shoe.

If I was bit by a dog I’d have multiple pics of the injury and doctor summary of my visit. Not just one dark questionable picture lol. The husbands eyes were down most of the case because he knows they’re lying 🙄. Maybe the dog nipped him but to make someone lose their dog over a lie is crazy. Also can’t believe that the defendant didn’t at least follow up to see what happened to her dogs.
Yes, that plaintiff (the woman especially) is evil. I'm angry at the defendant too. She didn't even TRY to get the poor dog back. It sounds like she didn't really want the dog. If they ask for a lot of money, I would have crowd sourced it or fought it in some way, or asked for some sort of payment plan.

Usually, when the defendant claims there was no bite there's some evidence that there was. In this case ... no visual punctures, no MD's statement, not even a punctured shoe, but evasiveness and a whopping claim.
I hope they hadn't gone and spent that $3,600 before coming to court. Actually, I don't.

Some people get dogs for their kids but never really care about them at all. This lady could have gotten the dogs back after a few days of quarantine but it sounds like she didn’t care about the dog or want it at all. She’d rather break her son’s heart and let his beloved pet go than to get the dogs. I hope they got adopted and are in a loving home.

The dog was probably placed in quarentine and charged for boarding, which can get expensive. The dog she was watching wouldn't have been released to her.
But to get her own dog out could've been 100s to get the dog out, and she might not have that money.

Locked our dog up for 10 whole days, no walks, no visits and wouldn't even let her out of the kennel the whole time. We were devastated because we knew she was terrified. Never letting anyone or other dogs near her again. Luckily we were able to get her back. I feel sad for them

Just finished up the episode. Looking at the comments the defendant didn’t “lose” her dog, she gave up on their dog. I understand circumstances may prohibit her from getting her dog back, but I would move mountains to get my dog back. Especially if the dog is being accused of lies.

Grown man gets all dramatic about what is maybe a booboo on his foot and gets rushed to the hospital for what might be an extremely minor scrape if you squint hard enough in bad lighting at it. Then they come to court with zero proof. And then are wishy washy after getting questioned. Someone is looking for a payday.
