I wasn't thrilled with the print quality compared to the standard Kodak 10cm by 15cm prints. Try looking at the book with a magnifier glass and you'll see why that's the case. Maybe other photo book printing shops aren't better though - didn't test.

If you order a book with less pictures than the max, are there blank pages in the back?
there will be one blank page at the end. You can go to photos.google.com/photobooks and configure it yourself to see how it will look like
you need a minimum of 20 photos. You can't order a book with less than 20 pictures

no, not really. Creating collage is the only option I guess. Which should be easy with Google Photos. I think ZNO allows you to create collage or shutterfly, you can try them instead.

I ordered a photo book from google photos and the price is very expensive compared to other sites. Also shipping was very slow even with upgraded shipping. The books are shipped from the west coast (Oregon) and FedEx took forever to ship. Price difference between the soft cover and hard cover is ridiculous as well. I will not be using google photos again.
