An ex-partner of mine's father was a limo driver in the UK, and he drove Robin Williams a couple of times. For many years to follow afterwards, he would recieve Christmas cards from Robin, saying "to Mick, the funniest man I've ever met". --- Such a genuinely nice man.

Bobcat is so right about the generosity & kindness of Robin. I've posted this many times before on other tributes for him. In my one & only extra work (ended quickly due to losers.) on his movie Man Of The Year. After he was finished shooting for the night he came over, shook the hand, asked the name & how each & every extra was doing. You could tell it was something he not only wanted to do but loved doing. It was a moment I will always treasure even more so now !!

DEMENTIA HAS NEVER KILLED ANYONE,AND AS WE ALL RECALL AND THE RECORDS SHOW,HE WAS SHARP AS A KNIFE TO THE END.the man had so much dignity as not ask anyone for financial help, perhaps he didn't want his illusional memories of his so called friends tarnished.
