So glad I came across your post and got to watch this video. Your enthusiasm (and cute hair updo) are always so uplifting and motivating. Definitely going to make a lovely popover. ❤
So glad you enjoyed Fiber Festival of New England! It's a great event - all indoors, nice wide aisles that make it easy to get around, lots of great vendors, and a food court that is pretty good. It does get crowded in the afternoon, but it's still manageable.
I went to the fiber festival for the first time also. I didn’t recognize you from your podcast but I recognize your gorgeous poncho. I remember pointing it out to my friend!!
Thanks for always being honest Kimberly - your words were exactly what I needed to hear today, right now. Dyeing yarn makes me buzz! But sometimes I get so caught up in my business I forget to take care of me! So rinsing yarn will have to wait - at least until after my walk!
Thank you very much. I think once I stopped being upset with myself for ‘not doing grief right’ I gave myself permission to feel all the feels and move forward. Protein, protein, protein! Give up the seed oils and sugar, you will feel so much better. 🩷
Thank you so much for answering my questions! I’m so happy that you are happy again. It shows!!!! I’m looking to forward to making the lovely popover and the newest poncho. Any chance you’ll publish the little stocking? It’s so cute!! ❤
Thank you for asking such great questions Eileen! It has been a journey so far, but my best tip is protein, protein, protein and do not restrict animal fat. We as post menopausal women especially need fat even though we were told for so many years to be low fat. 🩷
fyi-I’m the person who at Vogue in NY 2 years ago recognized you because of your hairdo from seeing it when you did videos during covid from that shop in NJ
Hi Kimberly - any chance you'll write a pattern for the new version of lovely popover. Id love to make the gray one with the locks. I'm glad you are doing well. I've been watching you a long time. During the COVID days I watched you when you worked at a shop in fanwood. You were the highlight of my day. That was a hard time and I was glad to have something to look forward to. You really inspired me to try new projects. You look great!
I am so glad you’ve been enjoying the channel, and I am honored to have inspired your knitting journey! 🩷 have already written on my Ravelry the changes that I made, but am planning on writing a stand alone pattern with the sheep locks technique written in! Stay tuned, it will probably be next week. I am sincerely flattered by your comment Ann and I wish you nothing but health and happy stitches 😊

I agree! It's one of my new favorites!
Wow ! Your spinning is so regular, congratulations !!! I share your love of wool !!!
Thank you very much Nicole! I love to spin… it’s my go-to relaxation craft. 🩷

I totally get it! You are wise to make time for you! 😊
I’m so happy you’re happy again! I’m 52 and it’s been a struggle with weight since menopause. I’m right there with you girl! ❤❤

I love those colored locks!
Me too! They are so beautiful… I’m thinking of using them in a sheep locks wreath!

Is there a good way to weave in ends amongst the floats?
Yes there is! I weave the ends through the floats. I will do a video about that too!
