great video! I ran the build, and hooooly, the damage output on this is insane! Makes me think if we should queue as DPS and give the Healer slot to someone who would really support lol but really enjoying this build! good job!
tried this, damn, this is the balanced skill set up even with my bad equipment set. moderate to high dps with a lot of healing skills. well, i use my own preference on 1-2 skills but it's still doing great. thanks for the guide
Saw this video and i was suprise that you almost have the same as i do, its mana hungry but always places you can get your mana. Biggest problem i have is that if you que up as a dps because you want a soft run in dungeon 1star or 2 star you get kicked because you dont use meta builds as dps. As a healer i guess you will always have a spot. Alot of ppl dont understand that you can be pure dps with emengery heal for others if it needed.
@@MajorBuzzkillable I personally don't rely on the DOTs for damage, its more to proc vampiric contract from the wand curse and then the burn stacks just give me more fireball barrage procs. Stat wise I normally do 50 Perception, 40 Dex and the rest into STR. If you can get 50 STR that would be the ideal spread.
@@englishboy993 No its not that bad, I would at least TRY to go for 30 str for the HP. The new 2 star dungeons hit hard and it gives you a little more survivability
With Talandre and Tier 2 coming out in about 4 weeks, I am redoing a lot of my builds and will have my quest log updated. You can use this for now though. questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/QuickDesertAndTheForeseenPrince?build-id=3242539
Its for sure not for everyone it is greedy but I would try it and see how it works, you can always drop 1 damage skill for 1 heal skill until it feels good for you.
Like having the abilities be in rows instead of the controller + or x layout? I don't think you can change that. I'll look further into it but any time i play a controller in on PC it auto changes it.
I think its easier to use, you don't need to keep track of optimal weakens for curse explosion damage. Also the scaling on curses isn't that great in my opinion, I think the direct damage from staff will do more damage than curses. I tried the curse explosion build before this one and found it annoying to play, especially when open world farming.
A lot more people have been asking for gear setups, so I am working on updating my questlog.gg profile with that. I tried not to have the gear show as sometimes it would put people off like "Oh I cant get that so I can do this build" With the new 2star gear and weapon changes i'll post a Staff/Bow video and should have all the gear for all the builds available then too.
Completely missed not adding it to the description. Its in there now. Keep in mind this is only for the skills as the gear for healing in PvE is pretty free form and in terms of priority for gear I would focus on Cool Down Reduction > Mana Regen. If you can grab Mana cost efficiency and buff duration that helps out as well.
speaking from a perspective of a EU player with a geascore of 3.8k-4k on two characters. my expirience with wand/staff is great overall, the healer who greatly improved the parties speed and damage which ultimately leads to faster clearspeed and also is able to switch to damage dealer at all times. i can heal everything easily, more than decent damage while healing and even much more when getting into the damage dealer role which only requires you to level your dmg skills and some changed in the hotbar/specialization. when i started to get into trials (lv1-10) sadly i had to accept the fact that in public parties you are not considered a damage dealer at all and you will never be invited as one. more clearly, you are a bad version of the so called full fledged healer. your healing capabilities are limited to how well the rest of the party peforms because there is a limits to your healing output, at least compared to the "full fledged wand/bow" counterpart. i personally see it a little different. to me the current wand/staff situation (at least from what i have seen) reminds me of the discipline priest in wow. meaning that in the beginning of an expension when you (and/or others) lack gear and ppl don't perform to the best of their abilities in any type of content you as a (semi) healer might end up not having enough heal output to deal with mechanical fails, unavoidable incoming damage or else. the better everyone is geared/plays, the less you have to heal, the more time you have to deal damage as well as use your staff related skills to improve party wide performance. idk korean standards but at least 2 weeks ago that was what i expirienced and fucked me over big time to the point at which i chose to either force myself to join an active trials guild or quit the game since everything else than that and pvp is just boring daily/weeekly chores.
Its very free form to be honest. I run a couple of different weapon combinations so I still with Toubkek Staff and the Cave of Destruction Wand because I also do PvP. Staff of the Umbramancer is good with either Excavator Wand or Tome of Proximate Remedy as a cheaper option since it has a lot of STR. Trait wise, regardless of what you do you'll really run the 3 big traits on just about every weapon. Crit Chance, Heavy and Hit.

I run this as a back up when I run with friends who are new to healing or something like that.
@@FateOdinGaming I do the same...I'm a healer back up more focused on weaken (burn/cursed) dps.

Thank you, nice video
I’m just waiting for them to release the pointy hat for male and the robe to become a true wizard.
I build strength perception though
STR PER can def give you higher lows.

ty for vid and info :))
I love my staff&want. Dex and wisdom is what i go for plus cooldown speed and a lot of crit. I have 13k manas and that 13k goes quick.
It really does, Just gotta do enough damage to kill the enemy before you empty out lol
Correct me if im wrong tho, if u r goin more dot dps str becomes better than crit right? Since dots dont crit but they do proc heavy atk

I had a party member a staff/wand. That mf carried us in Tyrants isle.
Yea with enough cool down reduction, crit and crit damage, you can do some nasty things.
What armour should we have for this build ?

@FateOdinGaming thanks for reply bro I've only just hit lvl50 so what gear would u recommend for staff/wand dps like this build
nice video. I will try it. My alter is wand/staff and I never tried a mixed built like this. Only full heal or full dd.

And what about the armor/ accessories with this build?
Hi, am new to the game, what stats did you put for wand/staff? Wis and Perc?
How do i put the powers layout like that in ps5 ??? It looks so much easier to use

Where should i put stat points for this build ?
usually dps builds seems to go toward curse circle and explosion - u find ur build better dps or simply less clunky? ;D
