Deku looks so much like Garou in this new look from the thumbnail.
I think that at some point, Shigaraki is gonna try to grab Deku to take his quirk and, instead of avoiding it, Deku is gonna grab his hand like he always does and little Tenko is gonna be like "whaaat" then the internal battle will commence.
It's funny that I explored this ending in one of the fanfics I wrote. That the last battle will be inside OFA/AFO. I've always believed it would be, the quirks are too freaky/powerful for there not to be some kind of internal battle in the vestige voids of both quirks.

As far as Shigaraki’s resistance to AFO’s takeover is concerned, I’m pretty sure AFO thought he could just… DO it. He’s been out of touch with human nature for his entire life, and as a demon lord should, he thinks of everything and everyone as servants, future servants, or possessions, to all be manipulated as he pleases.
So I don’t think he expected Shigaraki to just accept his takeover, but he DID expect he could just bulldoze that resistance, thanks to his own arrogance. His real miscalculation was underestimating the level of hatred he’d cultivated within Shigaraki- the very force he was counting on to overwhelm and forcibly steal OFA, was too strong for his Quirk factor as well. You can see this arrogance in his final moments too- he was supremely confident that if he could just get to Shigaraki, he could easily take control of him; but there’s no reason to assume he’d be any more successful the second time around, especially with Shigaraki’s mentality being much more stable than it had been during the first takeover attempt. This reality leaves room for your idea of AFO making it to Shigaraki but still failing to take control of him.
In short, AFO’s miscalculation stems from his innate belief that he can control everything, probably influenced by his Quirk like how Toga’s mind is influenced by hers.
The biggest miscalculation was shiggy waking up before the quirk was fully rooted in. Apparently why this struggle is even a thing to begin with. The vestige isn't dead either. There is a strong possibility it rears it's ugly head at least once more during the climax to help along the entire shiggy breaking free of the cycle narrative.
Yessir its scary hw quirks can influence ones' mental state
Afo had the power to take and give so he craved more quirks
Toga can drink blood and turn into the owner of said blood so she craves blood
The quirk singularity was a very serious threat but yet only one doctor saw the potential
I think everything you said about the internal fight is pretty spot on. I will even take it a step further in what Deku will do to appeal to the young Tenko. He will point out the fact that Tenko wanted to be a hero as a kid. Deku will go on to explain to Tenko that he must rise up to protect would be others who would also go through similar traumatic pain, like a hero would. The final nail in the coffin will be the moment Deku says the line that saved him from his own despair...... "Tenko, you too can become a hero."
We did technically see Deku train for float as well as training with blackwhip. Just black whip manifested itself before the stakes of MHA jumped into overdrive. Deku trained for float before he even manifested it so he would be more used to it when it manifests.

Another detail to strenghten this theory: Shigaraki absorbing the meta-abilities and their spirits in Deku means he'll also absorb Nana, his grandmother. Who'll definitely tie into his childhood-self coming through.
Also, imagine if the Decay quirk used to be Deku's.

I don't think decay used to be Deku's quirk, or else it would've been hinted, since it was confirmed that the remnants of the previous users works with every quirk stolen or transferred. And since Shigaraki's decay is the only quirk that was really transferred to him by the AfO (since the others quirks that he gave to Shigaraki comes from quirk sample created and duplicated by the doctor), I think we would've seen for example the shadow of Izuku at least, as we have seen the shadow of All Might inside of Izuku even if All Might was still alive

One minor tweak: I think it could be a lot more hard hitting if Shigaraki steals the Float quirk and it’s then Nana’s vestige which gets through to Tenko
Your probably right. I'm just sad this story failed to meet everything that made it interesting to me. They didn't finish school, the mole didn't amount to anything, afo stopped feeling like a grand genius, shiggy is important when i never felt like he earned it. I feel like the last arc that made me care was gentle.

What if the series ends with shigiraki by stealing one for all but being destroyed but the good side of him gives deku decay I think that’ll be interesting either it being out of malice or a gift him having a better understanding of his enemy

I think your assesment is correct, as someone who always disagreed with the narrative path that Deku was handed (altho he worked for it) one for all.
the only narrative twist that would "redeem" the story imo would be for Deku to lose One for All to Shigaraki, this influx of quirks would temporarily incapacitate Shigaraki and a Quirkless Deku (going FULL CIRCLE) realising that his heroism isn't based on his ability to wield One For All STILL appeals to a confused/overwhelmed Shigaraki. putting his life on the line we'd the get the clash of Absolute power vs powerless and even with these odds, the human spirit of Deku would triumph.
Literally the newest chapter has explained how Deku is going to win. He's going to willingly give up One-for-all in individual hits to make the Crack to shigarakis humanity with each hit. The next quirk to go is the gear shift, that way deku won't take the damage from the quirk. Shigaraki will.
One thing that I think could happen is Shigaraki getting all of OFA leaving Deku Quirkless again, a call out to Deku in the first chapter and the whole idea of you can be a Hero even at that stage when he didn't had any power. Maybe it would seem like all hope is lost but he runs, to save someone before even thinking about it, his feet moving on his own as he somehow finds a way to take kid Shigaraki out of this new demon lord, maybe kid Shigaraki using decay to destroy his evil self after Deku saves him.
Deku and Shigaraki have been fighting for almost as long as the average blue lock match.

People in general just gave up on caring about MHA since the war arc began. I dropped as soon as the manga's vibe completely changed to what it is now.
I dropped it once it was made clear that Deku wasn't gonna be a quirkless struggler using his smarts and technology to fight off vilains. so yeah basicly at chapter 1 lol😂

Before the last few chapters, I was subbed to the theory that Midoriya would die after the war. The story was basically being told on his death bed before his passing. One can become the greatest hero in death and I would've liked to see something like that. I also thought that he would lose OFA after the war as well. Look, imagine a timeskip Midoriya running around who is stronger than prime All Might with all of those extra quirks, he would be too busted to leave around. Like, what could possibly happen that he wouldn't be able to handle? Those were just a couple thoughts I had.
Imma find the chapter, cause I actually said the all for one gave decay to Shigi. It’s a panel where he walks by him or like shakes his hand before to. But you see the tiny stab make on his hand.
I will say that Afo truly did believe he could control Tomura but he never could predict that Tomura’s hatred would be able to overpower AFO.

This is a stupid ending because what purpose is there for shigarki to turn to the “good side”, with everything he’s done he’s just going to end in a Tartarus setting till he dies someday. WHAT A LIFE if you can even call it that. 😂
Shigiraki is a symbol of the failures of hero society. He is a product of the failings of heroes and the world's dependencies on them. To kill shigiraki and move on is to ignore the shadows of society and if deku wants to be greater than all might, killing shigi isn't enough. It's also kinda tough to save him considering what he's done. There needs to be a way for shigi to repent for his actions. Maybe become a hero?

I also think MHA will end like that. But I have the impression that the saving of Shigaraki will be more literal. Ever since the introduction of the Rewind Quirk with Eri, I got the hint that Deku will defeat Shigaraki by destroying his evil persona and rescue boy Shigaraki, maybe Eri's quirk would rewind Shigaraki's to his child self so he could have a chance of a normal life with out the memory and trauma of OFO and all the battles. I don't know, just a thought

@PedroOrtega1993 I picture this Shigaraki kid living inside Shigaraki adult like stuck or frozen in that stage. So he would probably have no memory of what his adult self did over the years and would be allowed to grow as a regular child.

I always thought he was just going to overload Shigaraki with the vestiges of One For All. Including a slight one of himself, as he lost his quirks. Ultimately acting as a catalyst for Deku to appeal to his "human side".

One of the vestiges has already suggested force feeding OFA to Shigi, predominantly the second user, stating that Shigi will suffer Deku's recoil.
Saw someone post that he is telling his story as one of the next vestiges of OFA - within Shigaraki. As that is how he will stop him - from inside, possibly reaching out to him/saving him, but it costed his own life. The ultimate hero & Deku move: self-sacrifice for the greater good.

Your theory is even more likely plausible knowing that in the latest chapters, the previous users literrally told Deku to let Shigaraki take the OfA, besides, not only there will be Deku's remnant inside of Shigaraki to try to convince him right through the heart, but by stealing float, Shigaraki will also have the remnants of Nana Shimura, his grandmother, and the hero that he aspired to be before AfO came to ruin his life (I support the theory of him giving decay to Shiga), and they will surely have a long conversation too

All might is amazing no doubt be became the greatest hero with one for all. And as for deku, I think he'll become the greatest hero in the way that he tries solving and rebuilding hero society. Shigi is born from the failures of hero society and helping him is the first step in attempting to fix it. Deku isn't there yet, but he will be the best in my eyes

If Deku manages to improve hero society, that's great, but we're likely never going to see him actually doing it. We're probably going to get a timeskip in the final chapters to see him as the greatest hero of all time but nothing he has done in the actual story suggests he has accomplished that.

I can see a chapter where he (Shigaraki) absorbs his Grandmother’s quirk from Deku and gets a chance to speak with her vestige.
Orrrrr bad guy utterly wins right when deku thinks he got a chance and the bad guy ( I can’t spell his name 😅) just kills everything and everyone then comes to realize he’s all alone. Then it’s him vs the universe now ….. hopefully idk I like seeing when bad guys win cause that’s what’s normally happens in real life and not a fairy tale

Uhhhh shigaraki clearly stated that if deku hit him with that Delaware smash he may not have been able to put himself back together, and noted that deku just has too much to protect so if he just was trying to kill him he might be able to.

Legendary doing a lot of lifting in your attempt to describe MHA.
Honestly, for a while now people have been hating on the fact that Deku's going to save Shigaraki, but with people are missing is the fact that he's not going to save Shigaraki in the sense that he's going to reintrogate him back into society cuz that seems to be what a lot of people are thinking. What he's going to do is save the human aspect of shigaraki. That's it. I'm still pretty sure he's going to kill him, give him the fact that dangerous and since his malice intent and it was going haywire when Deku literally said that you're still human. Either that or it's a sign that he's going to kill Shigaraki in the sense of he's going to kill the mentality of shigaraki and bring out his actual human side
(I've also seen this current ark get a lot of hate, which is crazy to me. Considering the fact that a lot of the things people complain about, there are logical explanations to like the pacing. Whether it's super short or super long, it's usually because horikoshi has been sick throughout the majority of this arc and even say that he had liquid coming out of his ears. On top of that, I do feel like there are some valid criticisms. Don't give me wrong. I have my own for example Eda why in the world hasn't he interacted with staying and why did stain get killed off before ida could prove that he's a true hero. That was a complete miss, but I do feel like a lot of the complaints boil down to this didn't go the way I wanted so therefore it's bad when MHA in all honesty has never been a conventional manga. It usually subverts your expectations of what you would expect from what you would expect with an MC since that could cries a lot and we're not used to that or even from the side characters and villains)
Why bothering "saving" Shigaraki if you're still going to kill him? It's either trying to redeem him or killing him. Shigaraki has shown no signs of regret in his actions throughout the series. If he had shown more doubts and regrets throughout the series and Deku had seen two or three times, I could understand having some doubts. Why does Shigaraki deserve to be "saved"? Because his father hit him? Him being a criminal and terrorist was his own choice. They don't know each other and Shigaraki has been doing lots of evil shit without a second thought. He needs to die.
"MHA has never been a conventional manga". It's an extremely by the book series. Deku crying doesn't make him very unique when guys like Naruto and Luffy have cried regularly in their series. It's not a massive subversion. Let's not get all pretentious. It is a simple series that tried to push the envelope at times but didn't have the balls to do it (Bakugo and All Might dying, letting AFO die in Kamino and let Shigaraki take the helm for real, Shigaraki actually killing heroes instead of eliminating more villains than Deku).

Might not be that deku is going to directly shut his hand through his heart or his head or anything, but he's definitely going to try and save him and again, you have to keep in mind, shigaraki is a completely different persona. That's not even who he really is. His literal name is actually tenko and I believe Deku even calls him that and Shigaraki tells him to stop and you do realize you kind of debunked your own point though, right? I mean like he has seen the child inside of Shigaraki. That's the real him and he knows that he seen him. I believe twice and he deserves to be saved due to the fact that that's what heroes do. That's also what Deku is trying to figure out. What does it mean to be a real hero and he figured out it's to save and to protect those who need to be protected? There's also kind of answers the question of how he's going to save everybody which was his goal because he had a childish idea of just saving everybody in the world constantly when that was unattainable but it seems as if the series It's going in the direction of him tearing apart society to uncover what really has been happening in order to save everybody cuz remember society is the thing that created Shigaraki that's the whole point with the villains. They're the failures of society personified so killing Shigaraki which is make another shigaraki. It doesn't solve any sort of problem and you're right, they don't know each other that well Shigaraki even points that out to him and says "you don't know me" But I'm pretty sure this one the questions that's going to be solved as well within later chapters. I understand why you think he would deserve to die, but throughout the story of my hero this the thing they've been setting up and a lot of plot points kind of revolve around Shigaraki being saved and if Deku would just kill him, that would completely destroy the series, destroy what it means to be a hero and destroy Deku's character as a whole so it kind of ruins everything people watching. It might be pleased because everybody always wants a badass way for a character to end things, especially the main character, but narratively it would make zero sense.

Deku cries a lot. He even calls himself a cry baby or he used to be a crybaby and that's how we were introduced to him. He wasn't some type of character like Naruto who already had the strength to achieve his dreams. Just need to access it in work hard. It was even stated in the beginning of my hero " that the sad reality is that not all men are created equal" So we can't really be one of those characters like Luffy or Naruto so that comparison doesn't really line up, especially just because of the simple fact that they cry there. The same or comparable really isn't a point because they're not actual cry babies and it's not written in them to cry a lot to express emotion. Also, even when bakugo did supposedly die It was literally shown to us that he was getting revived back the same chapter he died in. So I don't know why people are acting like this is some new development that he came back and it was even thoroughly explained that stuff like nitroglycerin. We started his heart and all Ed shot did was stitch it up which is something that happens in real life by the way and to all might it was thoroughly explained and I believe horikoshi did this on purpose and used night eye as a mouthpiece to the audience when he said something along the lines of " This is the real world. This is not a comic book. Real heroes. Don't die that easily" and all might even name drop the classic trope of the sense a dying so the students can take up the new mantle and jokingly said it and that's when night I said his response. And I do believe that was a way for horikoshi to tell his audience that this isn't like a comic book or any other manga because in this story these heroes again don't die this easily. I think that's what he truly meant behind it. Oh, and all for one was never meant to die at kamino That's the whole point of him still being alive and locked up in prison. He was never meant to die there and Deku had saved the villains before like gentle criminal and Shigaraki killing heroes needs to happen for his character and Deku's not saving a whole bunch of them. Aka the villains is perfectly fine since his whole entire story is figuring out what to do about Shigaraki and uncovering the secrets about hero society and trying to figure out how to deal with them so then he can save everybody. That's what it's really leading up to.
Overall it's not really going down the same trope as other animes. It's taking a much deeper approach to things. I just think people are looking at it for the surface layer and they're not actually trying to dig deeper and look underneath anything and they're just seeing "oh it's going to have a Naruto type ending 😒" and then they immediately get frustrated because they think it's a cop out when it's not. It's been something that's been set up throughout the entirety of the story.

Your theory makes sense if the true happy ending is the goal. By ripping out the extra quirks and leaving deku with one or no quirks. This might save his life since its said having the muiltiple quirks shortens your lifespan.
I could also see that all of deku's quirks being removed and he beats him quirkless, or he actually had an hidden quirk and it finally manifests.
Well...for the first part of your comment, it was explained that it won't shorten Deku's lifespan, as well as it didn't shortened All Might's lifespan, because he was quirkless before acquiring the OfA. By the metaphor they took, see the human body has an empty glass, and the quirks (whether it's OfA or another one) as a liquid that fills the glass. If you try to pour a quirk (here, as a liquid) into a glass that is already filled, it will overflow, or the pressure will break the glass if you try to prevent the overflow. But if you fill a glass that was empty in the first place, then you won't have that problem
For the second one, not only I don't really like the idea of him having a quirk all along, but it would also contradict with what was explained at the start of the series, about him not having the quirk gene because his body had the articulation on his little toe. I think he'll beat him in the vestige of OfA inside of Shigaraki, as weeb commander said, because Shigaraki absorbed it. Shigaraki being to much strong and resistant for a quirkless Deku to beat him, as strong as he is even without it
20:17 its still a total possibility. afo said the whole reason he needed to get to shiggy was to merge with his other have, so afo's consciousness could still be in there but just suppressed by shiggy.
What if deku starts to get through to him, and the afo seizes a surprise opportunity. We already know parts of star survived somehow, so its not a total stretch imo
It's goimg to come full circle. Deku is going to end up quirkless and the new symbol of peace. But he is going to symbolize peace through "the power of friendship" instead of being the strongest like All Might.
This fight ends with Shigaraki going full Akira after little Shigaraki gets broken out of the monster. It wraps everything up with Ari using her controlled quirk to erase the resulting monster blob, again - Akira style.
I think all of the users of one for all will break down shigiraki most importantly The sevenths one for al user actual meeting her grandson. With shigiraki's will broken deku can take what ever power he wants. I wonder if he becomes the hero that unifies all for one and one for all. Ik that some people that don’t know much about dekus past will disagree with this but, Deku is very much so stronger than shigeraki, now heres the thing, Deku doesn’t give up on what he wants, like bakugo, aka his bully for example, Deku still looked up to him, it’s the same same with shigeraki but instead Deku wants to save him, so he’s not using his full potential, instead he’s actually holding back his full potential since he wants to save shigeraki instead of killing him with one blow, which like nana said”kill him with a strong blow and get it over with” Deku doesn’t want to do that, so just saying, Deku is stronger than shigeraki just doesn’t want to kill him, so he holds back.

13:57 Chapters 303-304, expliclty shows what you're saying is not true about OFA. Deku only has the abilities thanks to OFA reaching past singularity and that he is quirkless, thus he and Toshinori were able to wield OFA without slowing down and cracks forming around their bodies.

EDIT: Part of your prediction is already coming true, and they've mentioned that when he loses a quirk factor the power of OFA is redistributed, giving the remaining factors a boost. So... I'll add my prediction to yours. While the two struggle internally, Deku will continue releasing each vestige until none remain.. but because of the redistribution of OFA's power, Deku's body will be the vessel that recieves the boost, giving him a muscle form for a final smash that's juxtaposed with finally reaching shigaraki internally as their child vestiges lock hands. 99% sure, at least.
I see it ending with Deku being fully absorbed and speaking with the inner kiddo and basically have a their powers clash to the point that both are destroyed forever. And have both of them talk internally and accept their fates no all for one and no one for all

Yeah, the way that image is going to end. I think it is close to what your theory is and that’s kind of been my own personal theory for about a year.
There is a possibility that this could have a DBZ type of ending...
Deku would sacrifice a number of his quirks to Shigaraki, they would have an internal fight, weaken him, find a way to exit and get back to Deku
And Deku fires the last passing of the torch attack - for which All Might may have to either die, or it could be his silhouette vestige.
The only difference there would be that, after the demise of Shigaraki, the quirks within Deku would cease to exist cause now holding them would seem meaningless
What if~
Shiggi actually gets OFA leaving deku very weak and useless.
Then hell breaks loose, and makes shiggi rampage nearly destroying everything due to his mental state because of the vestiges.
All of Dekus friends goes to the main battlefield and attempts to hold shiggi down.
One by one everyone goes down struggling and there is deku feeling useless getting flashbacks from where bakugo bullies him.
Then when ochako and bakugo goes down. Deku snaps, unlocking his actual quirk that he got from his parents. This quirk could overwhelm shiggi thinking that he already stole everything and somehow deku actually got what he needs.
It could be a quirk evolution that could borrow his friends quirks by passing their energy. Sort of like the spirit bomb from Dragon Ball.

I feel like Deku is ending the series Quirkless once again. Maybe Tenko will give him all of One For All back (if they survive) or maybe New World Order if the Vestiges are destroyed

A better theory would be deku was not quirkless and had decay. Deku killed his dad when he was a baby and inko didn't know what to do. Reached afo and afo took decay from deku. Then he gave it to tenko. Deku's father is still not mentioned nor he called his son or talked to him. He is basically a lie inko said.
“The human inside of Shiguraki” is Tenko, he is that person. you didn’t even mention the vestige world lol the past owners of one for all knows they can be taken, as they were nearly taken, and had to hold their ground.
I would say one of the best endings I could see happening is both Shigaraki and Tenko deciding to end their lives. Shigaraki because he'd rather never lose to hero society and be taken in for brainwashing, but also to never allow Tenko to resurface. Tenko would choose to end it to be the hero he always wanted to be and so not to hurt other people. This also takes agency away from Deku, but to the rest of the world he'd still be "the #1 hero."
But y'know when Deku mentioned his story of how he became as much it sounded bittersweet to me so it sounds possible.
However I'll be displeased if Deku is somehow robbed of every quirk and uses the embers to subdue Shigaraki, saving Tenko, and crippling his own body for the rest of his own life all in the name of justice. 😒 Too predictable.

Ngl I think MHA is just terribly written. I agree that the formulaic approach can be a good thing it’s adaptation and writing is good enough for the story… but I don’t think this story did that at all. You can pretty much read the beginning of the story up to Deku inheriting one for all and shiggy being introduced and you can already guess the main plot points for the rest of the story. Naruto did a lot of the same things, but it did them over 10 years ago and with (in my opinion) a way better storyline. It’s just played out now and while I know not everything has to be edgy violent stories like JJK… This is just boring
Very good point. I think Black Clover is a good example of having a very formulaic approach and execute it well. I think MHA, while generic at first, had moments where it could have become something more unique but Horikoshi pulled his punches and didn't have the courage to take risky decisions. And pulling your punches and being boring is a lot worse than being formulaic.
Don't forget Shigaraki would also pull in his Grandmother's soul in with Dekus, and (if I recall correctly) Shigaraki idolized her when he was a kid
Hey I have a hit. When if when deku went to the hospital he had his quirk but the doctor took it from him and showed someone else toe. But the fact that deku mother had to touch things to make it float and his dad and breath fire right. What if deku quirk is decade. Like his farther quirk to burn things went from his mouth to his hands and his mother quirk to have to touch something to float it. But from making something float and burn instead made it turn into ash. But had to touch it.
The child living inside of shigaraki made me remember that he was called a man child in season 1 or something like that
My biggest question is not what happens to Deku but the hero society as a whole, MHA although literally anime “sky high” as you call it still has a lot of remarks to say about hero society, so what would that future look like?
