What sucks to me is that the only focus we get is on donkey Kong and Diddy. It seems like anytime we bring in any other character that isn't something like funky kong, or cranky, we have to fight tooth and nail just to get acknowledgment. It's as if Nintendo is very upset that they weren't the ones to make donkey Kong the way they were, so they try to reinvent him all the time. Take jungle beat for instance. That took literally everything out of donkey Kong, and they literally said that they could do donkey Kong better. And they didn't. I hate the disrespect that they give to all the characters of donkey kong, including the main villain. Please, just use him. He's a strong character design, and he has just as much mainstay as Bowser does in his own series.
For real!!! Even DK and Diddy don’t get the representation and respect deserved from Nintendo! We should be seeing DK, Diddy, Dixie, Cranky, Funky, Wrinkly, and Swanky frequently! If they isolate the cast it’s lame as these are all cool characters and if they ever do make a game it would feel out of place to have Wrinkly, Swanky, or Dixie. These characters deserve mention! Now I get that it’s unrealistic to expect all of the Kongs. But if we cut out like Chunky, Lanky, Tiny, or any other small roles aren’t those 7 remaining just perfect! DK, Diddy and Dixie are the biggest ones and then often Cranky and Funky are seen as protagonists and if not they are main NPCs and then we still have Wrinkly and Swanky which could be seen less frequently and would provide as a nice variety! Additionally, the animal buddies are almost just as important as keeping Dixie, Swanky, e.t.c. The same goes with Animal Buddies about skimming down. I say, Rambi the Rhino, Enguarde the Swordfish, Squawks the Parrot, Squitter the Spider and Rattly the Rattlesnake are the best five to narrow it down to but maybe even as variety would have a chance to see Ellie the Elephant, Winky the Frog, or Expresso the Ostrich and maybe even like a banana bird that flies around as an adaptation of parry the parallel bird! DK and his environment is so cool and interesting but nobody gets the opportunity to get immersed in it beyond surface level “YAY DK and Diddy are friends” because Nintendo refuses to immerse people and it’s sad as we see with Mario we learn of his brother and companion like Yoshi and this world is so sick and I would argue DK Isle is just as cool and interesting my personal opinion I like it more but it’s not fair because we have no modern day example to compare and just think of how expansive it was back on the SNES and wonder how much it could’ve flourished if Nintendo funded DK Crew as they deserved!
@@scarletwitch616 it sucks too, because if I remember right donkey Kong country over in Japan was widely popular. Like, the most popular donkey Kong has ever been over there.
@@ItsRetroPlanet yeah it's really strange from a business stand point in my opinion like if Nintendo just treated the DK series and treated the IP similar to Legend of Zelda and Mario series it would probably be more profitable than the self sabotage of DK that they seem to be doing
that's because Nintendo has been trying to get rid of Rare's influence ever since they got bought out by Microsoft. they effectively made Donkey Kong Island a Crocodile-Free Zone.
Well if that’s the case we gotta complain until we get a K.Rool meet and greet. It took 68 years between Disneyland’s opening and 2023 when Pete, Mickey Mouse’s arch-nemesis, got to be a meet-and-greet character. We don’t want to wait that long for K.Rool too.
K Rool may be a smash character now like Captain Falcon, and that's a shame. I really want to know the exact reason Nintendo wants to separate DK from the Kremlings and Rare entirely.
Rare was the developer behind those creations, and Nintendo tends to be particularly rigid when it comes to allowing external input, especially from outside Japan. There’s a cultural resistance among traditional Japanese companies, where they often dislike seeing outsiders excel with their intellectual properties. This same mindset explains why SEGA hesitated to let Christian Whitehead and his team develop a Sonic Mania 2-despite their success-because they achieved something the Japanese teams hadn’t.
What's even crazier to me is that of all things the golden banana is referenced, and the show was HUGE in Japan. Spawning playsets, cards, figures, plushes. I don't understand the omission of king k rool at all.
So to put things in perspective let's take apart the DK theme park and see what it contains. Donkey Kong - Created by Nintendo using the Rareware DKC design Diddy, Cranky, Dixie, Funky - Rareware Characters and all featured in some form in the park Rambi, Squawks - made by Rare as well The DK barrels and Letter Tokens - Rare creations The DK Treehouse and Funky's Flights - New design by Retro Studios, originally created by Rare Tiki Tak Tribe - Created by Retro, one of the few things that's completely theirs. Tutorial Pig - featured in the gift shop and was created by Rare DK Arcade stage - classic Nintendo Easter egg Overall there are lots of things made my Rare that is still apart of the DK universe and theme park. The lack of Kremlings are a shame but it's not the end of the world.
I think it’s a bit sad that Rare basically defined what Donkey Kong is when he’s separated from Mario, and aside from the odd fan-requested cameo, Nintendo just pretend DKCR was the first DK game
@@beauwalker9820 The main Mario series seems to suffers from the opposite problem when it comes to villains, as look I like Bowser as a villain and all and he is pretty cool but wouldn’t it be nice to have a new villain be the main antagonist of a game in the main Super Mario series for once? (As in the 3D games and platforming games) I guess I feel that way because well Bowser has been the main villain of more games then King K Rool since in contrast King K Rool has been the main villain of only a relatively few amount of games.
@@carlosbleu7396 Well he got lucky if only because Super Mario Bros. 2 as many may already know was originally a different game called Doki Doki Panic.
its such a shame, aside from a few dk games after 64, the only other games he appeared in were Smash and Mario Super Sluggers, hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel for k rool's return.
By the time K. Rool was added to Smash, the plans for the Donkey Kong Country theme park had already been solidified. The park is primarily based on Returns and I don't think that's a bad thing at all. Tiki Tong will actually show up on the Minecart Madness roller-coaster, DK fans were so anti the Tiki Tak Tribe, it's not like we were ever going to fight them again, So I pretty much view this as one last hurrah for the Tiki Tak Tribe. Smash is the Kingmaker, so I don't doubt that K. Rool and the Kremlings will return in a future DK game. Personally, I'm just grateful that a DKC theme park even exists at all, and I don't have the same weird nostalgia driven hatred of Returns that other DK fans my age seem to have, so I'm very happy to see Returns being celebrated one more time.
That would make sense, I imagine a whole ass theme park takes more time than making a game. Also you do touch on something interesting i think needs to be called out more and it is a large chunk of at least Western DK fans weird disdain for anything not rare made in the series. Like i get it, nostalgia's a B, the snes games are a great time, but I think the fanbase will risk going the way of others if it continues and grows which would suck to see as it's otherwise very chill so far in my experience
In fairness, they still use Diddy, Rambo, Dixie, Cranky, and Funky, (Swanky and Chunky cameo in the movie) so they actually still regard the Kong family. And let's not forget that the Kremlings were used in the "King of Swing," and "Barrel Blast" games.
@@beauwalker9820 DK Jungle Climber the sequel to DK King Of The Swing also used the Kremlings and it’s notable for being the very last game to have King K Rool as the main antagonist. It was also the game that introduced me to the character as well. Nintendo I am afraid just doesn’t get it that people want King K Rool back even though the only reason why he was even added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was because of his high popularity on the Smash Ballot.
I think the issue that I feel a lot of people ignore is that K. Rool has been gone from his own series for over 20 years, obviously I’m only talking about Mainline games from DK64, but his other appearances post 64 didn’t really sell well. (Keep in mind the best selling DK game after the buyout before returns released was a remake of DKC for the GBA) considering that returns was the game that basically saved Donkey Kong as a franchise I think it’s appropriate that the theme park would focus on it, since it’s the modern view of Donkey Kong. That being said do I think K. Rool is dead? No I don’t think Nintendo hates the Kremlings considering he got into smash and recently got NSO icons, heck K. Rool still appeared in the post buyout games, I definitely feel like a new DK game is probably his best chance to return to give him his proper reintroduction that he deserves.
@@beauwalker9820 We need Paon to develop a Donkey Kong Country game. At least they would use the Kremlings. Since I believe they used them in every Donkey Kong game they developed.
For just a small K Rool representation at the park, the coolest way to incorporate him would be to have a pirate ship themed after a kremling pirate crew like in DKC2
Unfornately it seems that way as the way he was acting gave off vibes that he was acting like he created the Donkey Kong franchise alone when in reality Rare did.
Apparently there were talks of Universal wanting to add K.Rool to the park alongside some other elements, but Nintendo refused. They had similar limitations on Mario's world too, with Nintendo wanting to focus on Mario 3D World elements. What we do know for sure is that through some early drafts for the expansion, you can see some of the Sour-Dodo enemies from Tropical Freeze, and even Ellie the Elephant from Country 3. I really don't think it's being done out of spite for what Rare made, because if it was, we wouldn't have this park in the first place. Returns HD is coming out which is pretty good marketing, and a good way to get people into Donkey Kong who haven't played it yet. I'm confident we'll see K. Rool when we get a new Donkey Kong game, which... who knows when that's coming out, but I'm confident it's coming.
I agree with this. IMO it's probably just because he's been absent in Returns, which the park is most based on. We barely have Tropical Freeze content, with Dixie's "return" and Funky's shop just slightly scraping by. From the video, I'm pretty sure we didn't even see merch of either of them in Funky's shop. It sucks how little things are recognized bar DK and Diddy. Once we get the next DK game, I think that one decides K. Rool's ultimate fate and future--if he's just doomed to forever be a "legacy" character or not. But I really can't imagine them not bringing him back at this point... I was never expecting him to make his return to the series in the theme park of all places.
@@dainnofgungnir I believe Smash Bros. has put him back in the public consciousness - everyone knows who you are once you get into Smash, so his popularity can't be ignored anymore. Funky's shop does have some keychains for Rambi, Dixie, Squawks and Professor Chops, so I'm hopeful that over time they'll add new merch, and maybe some new things around the park to keep patrons interested.
Im frustrated that not only are King K. Rool and the Kremlins are not only absent from the theme park, but that they’ve also been replaced by a one-and-done faction that only appeared in ONE Wii game from 2010 (excluding ports and remasters). I’d also like to bring up that while the Wii and Wii U got their own new DK games, the switch only got ports instead (and we may not get a new one until Switch 2)
It would be less painful if they just kept the Tikis as the new Donkey Kong villain but they scrapped them all the very next game too and replaced them with a significantly lamer antagonist. Idk wtf Retro is thinking, this isn’t supposed to be Kirby where we get a new villain each game and even then all of Kirby’s villains are memorable.
@@orangeslash1667 what’s your point? They’re in most of the other games. And if anything, the fact that Ganon isn’t in MM makes Majora and Skull Kid stand out even more as antagonists, which is actually good lol
@@carnage0685 Developers prefer to use characters that they created. For example the reason Wario was made is because R and D 1 didn't understand Mario as much as Miyamoto. If I had to think of an example of someone being forced to use a popular character and it didn't work, it would Spiderman 3. Sam Raimi originally wanted to use Sandman as the main villain but Sony wanted to add another villain. Raimi wanted Vulture but Sony wanted Venom. Problem was that Raimi wasn't very familiar with Venom, but sadly Sony didn't give him a choice. Fans were not pleased with Venom's portray in the film, this could be because Raimi doesn't understand Venom??? Meaning that Retro Studio's could ruin K Rool's boss fight's, if the only reason he was added is because fans wanted him, but Retro Studios didn't want to. Like Wario, Retro wants to focus on villains that they made. Also the theme of the game Tropical Freeze is ice. Reptiles would not fit the theme very well.
The park isn't even open yet, and we only really know about half of what is in the park currently. Considering the amount of Rare properties already present in the park, there is still a mighty chance that we'll see em there.
"These are just games from the past" Yeah, you'd think the park would give some focus to characters liked by the people who are actually gonna pay for the family's tickets
I understand your frustration Marsen. As a Dixie fan she will most likely never get in Smash Bros or Mario party. King K Rool is crazy popular so it's wild they are neglecting him after Smash Ultimate. I still have hope for K.Rool though.
I feel like this has to be brought up since a lot of people don't seem to understand this - the Super Nintendo World theme park was in discussion LONG before K Rool's return in Smash/Ultimate's development. Universal was negotiating with Miyamoto heavily, and during the time, Nintendo was actively promoting Retro's DKC games. Universal wanted to use Rare's content (Ellie appearing in the concept maquett or the DKC area) but Nintendo wa sstill very strct on which characters they could use. Ultimate's development was likely sometime after negotiations were finalized.
I agree he could be the equivalent of Jack black’s bowser but if he was in a DKC movie, he should be voiced by Ben Campbell, the k rool voice in the DKC cartoon’ and the yt short Return to krocodile isle is proof that ben Campbell still got what it takes playing k rool in a DKC movie but a back up choice if they want celebrity VAs then I think Eddie Murphy is a good choice

The thing is Nintendo officially owns K. Rool after Rare was bought by Microsoft, as are all other directly-connected DKC characters. They have no excuse doing this. For all we know they do have something planned but still....
I feel another thing with Nintendo and their modern day Donkey Kong Country, is the fact they also lack consistency on enemies and new villains, and lack consistency on releasing a new Donkey Kong Country in general. Nintendo literally has no passion when it comes to Donkey Kong as a series. Besides Rambi, this park part of Nintendo World for Donkey Kong looks bare bones Edit: My point is it's been 10 years since they released a brand new Donkey Kong Country Returns game, not talking about the ports for Returns Tropical Freeze and Returns HD coming to Switch, from both Wii U and Wii
Dude k rool is probably my favorite Nintendo villian of all time it’s a shame that k rool is being forgotten my Nintendo my dad was screaming his lungs out with me when k rool got revealed for smash it’s just sad that he got forgotten by Nintendo :(
As someone who didn't grow up on the SNES games, but somehow found myself watching a few episodes of the cartoon, it automatically clicked with me that “King K Rool is Donkey Kong’s King Koopa.” It just makes sense.
The worst part is, The Kremlings weren't even goalies in the newest mario striker game anymore tells me they don't like the Kremlings and K. Rool anymore
Plus Donkey Kong's house was never a hut, it was a wooden house. Plus remember it was Rare that help bring back Donkey Kong as that Shigeru mocked his redesign from Rare but went with it, as Donkey Kong Country became a huge hit! reshaping the DK franchise forever.
You know, apparently King K. Rool was supposed to make his comeback in Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze + New Funky Mode, but Nintendo denied that from happening because they knew Sakurai was adding him to smash and wanted that to happen first, and knowing that is so frustrating because they could have just delayed the game or release a DLC expansion for it but now whatever they were planning to do is just gone forever
“dk’s theme park was only based off of one game?? that doesnt make sense” mario’s area is primarily based off of super mario 3d world and yoshi’s ride is based off of yoshi’s island ds. they usually use one game as reference for what the look of the series is and go from there. not to mention not even rareware used most of the animal buddies in their games. expresso, winky, rattly, or ellie made it to 64. so the series has always be inconsistent towards animal buddy usage
If the only reason for him not being included is because they finalized plans for the park before he returned in Smash Ultimate, like other people said, then maybe they WILL add K. Rool in later
Krusha: I heard that a higher power determined that he - and by proxy us, were unfit to continue coexisting with our Kong rivals, forcibly removing all contact with them and thus leading to a life of hiding.
I mean to be fair it's obvious they based the park after DKC returns which we know King K rool was not a part of, hell they didn't even add the Vikings from tropical freeze and even Dixie gets ignored. Plus there's been rumors that Miyamoto hated the DKC series for a long time. Whether or not that's true is a different story but it would explain why the Kremlins have been getting the shaft for years. I hope they update the area with tropical freeze during the summer kind of like how stores and businesses theme themselves after holidays to me that would be fun.
I feel that most of the reason why King K. Rool or the Rareware stuff isn't in the park because this park was designed years before King K. Rool and the other Rareware stuff started to come back (albeit slightly) in Smash or The Mario Movie but if there’s no little reference to him other Rareware stuff like in the Mario section of the park I doubt that they care anymore
I mean, thats essentially just how Theme Parks go, look at the Mario section, its mainly only Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8. I dont think this is a big deal at all. It would be a big deal If K.Roll dont appear in a new DKC game.
@@ivanzoneBR What I wonder is what are they going to doing when it comes to new Mario Kart games in the future? The Mario Kart 8 aesthetic could be become outdated relatively quickly if they aren’t careful. Guess they will just have to keep supporting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with new content, especially since it seems impossible to top that game anyway.
Yeahh who knows. Maybe if he returns in another DK game they’ll make a walk around mascot costume for the parks. It’s not for sure out of the realm of possibility
I don't get why Nintendo is abandoning these characters they bought from Rare. Like why did they bought them even in the first place when they just used them a couple of times for just minor appearences and then just forget about them?
I think it's annoying how Miyamoto omits the Kremlings saying "Do we need them?" meanwhile he includes the koopas in literally every Mario game, even ones with a different primary antagonist force.
After the new DK design stuff, this makes more sense. Theyre doing new merch for the new designs, hinting at a new game. Wanna wait until they have everything ready for DKC on Switch 2.
Are we forgetting that rare still technically owns him? It’s not like they can use him whenever they want, they have to ask, that’s why he’s been “forgotten” Edit: Forget what I said, I’m actually wrong (I did further research)
I thought all DK characters still belong to Nintendo? And if not, at least Diddy, Cranky, Dixie and Funky do since they’re prominently featured in all kinds of DK media still

Isn't that half of the point of Smash Bros? To advertise other concurrent games? If anything, it would have added to his Smash reveal seeing him make a comeback in a game released months before he debuts in Smash, giving his reveal more impact .
@@mr.awesome6011 Yeah such a pity he didn't make it in Tropical Freeze, fingers crossed he will be a secret boss in DKCR HD, if not the next DK 3D game or next DKC game with the kremlings !

To me Nintendo seems to be salty that Rareware basically invented the DK we know
@@scarletwitch616 it sucks too, because if I remember right donkey Kong country over in Japan was widely popular.
Jungle Beat slander will not be tolerated. That game was amazing.
I heard a rumor that universal wanted to include the kremlings but Nintendo said no
That sounds like something Nintendo would say.
My uncle at Universal confirmed this.
that's because Nintendo has been trying to get rid of Rare's influence ever since they got bought out by Microsoft. they effectively made Donkey Kong Island a Crocodile-Free Zone.
@@cherrybombwaffles518
Which is odd since they would use the Kremlings for multiple Mario Spin offs in the GCN and Wii era.
Except Captain Falcon had a new game after Smash and K.Rool didnt.
@@NonjolaBut with that logic then Diddy, Dixie and Funky wouldn't be in Tropical Freeze, or K. Rool wouldn't be in King of Swing and it's sequel.
@@Nonjolathat's... actually kind of pathetic.
@@Nonjola guess that proves my theory of Sonic Team being jealous of the Mania Team, afraid of Fans stealing their jobs.
What's even crazier to me is that of all things the golden banana is referenced, and the show was HUGE in Japan. Spawning playsets, cards, figures, plushes. I don't understand the omission of king k rool at all.
So to put things in perspective let's take apart the DK theme park and see what it contains.
Donkey Kong - Created by Nintendo using the Rareware DKC design
Diddy, Cranky, Dixie, Funky - Rareware Characters and all featured in some form in the park
Rambi, Squawks - made by Rare as well
The DK barrels and Letter Tokens - Rare creations
The DK Treehouse and Funky's Flights - New design by Retro Studios, originally created by Rare
Tiki Tak Tribe - Created by Retro, one of the few things that's completely theirs.
Tutorial Pig - featured in the gift shop and was created by Rare
DK Arcade stage - classic Nintendo Easter egg
Overall there are lots of things made my Rare that is still apart of the DK universe and theme park. The lack of Kremlings are a shame but it's not the end of the world.
Tutorial Pig was not created by Rare?
Made by Rare but completely revamped by Nintendo, Paon, and Retro.
Professor Chops was created by Retro, not Rare.
R.I.P King K Rool (1994 - 2024)
😢😢😞😞😞😞😞😞
King K. Rool’s portrayal in Ultimate was perfect! It’s a shame he hasn’t appeared in a Donkey Kong game in years.
I think it’s a bit sad that Rare basically defined what Donkey Kong is when he’s separated from Mario, and aside from the odd fan-requested cameo, Nintendo just pretend DKCR was the first DK game
I liked DKCR, but honestly I'm getting tired of it, and the lame Tiki enemies. The Kremlings were better.
Like Wart from Super Mario bros 2?
@@carlosbleu7396 Well he got lucky if only because Super Mario Bros. 2 as many may already know was originally a different game called Doki Doki Panic.
I know but the legacy from this game is huge and was more interesting than the "DLC" which was The lost levels.
its such a shame, aside from a few dk games after 64, the only other games he appeared in were Smash and Mario Super Sluggers, hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel for k rool's return.
Time to release a crocodile there while playing krools theme on full blast.
I remember that donkey Kong country park planned was before king k rool smash ultimate
Yep. Planning started in 2014
No. King K.rool wasn’t forgotten. Nintendo just doesn’t Give a shit about him.
Lile all good things.
We care about King k rool.
Just like the Wario Land series
And that’s why I sometimes hate Nintendo because they don’t care about their own characters that we like
@@TVTIME-be8ze we don't care about tiki tong. King k rool deserves to return in modern era.
Seems to me the plan for DKC addition to universal was locked down long before K.Rool returned in Smash
Tiki Tak Tribe is so cool. Never got why people don't like them.
Tiki Tong is actually pretty damn cool. I wouldn’t mind him showing up every now and then.
The Snowmads are lame though.
@@MagillanicaLouMYeah, I think being slaves to nostalgia will kill the fandom and the franchise along with it.
I cried so much when they revealed the King K.Rool costume because I love King K.Rool especially his DKC cartoon version.
Hell yeah The DKC cartoon is so funny like the quality is poor, but the dialogue and characters is hilarious
I’m so glad you made a video about this. I’m really getting sick of Nintendo erasing Rare’s contributions more and more as time goes on.
An area at the bottom of DK's house where we can go to see our banana hoard is gone.
With Retro Studios in charge we probably won't see a new DK game until Metroid Prime 4 is finished.
@@beauwalker9820 We need Paon to develop a Donkey Kong Country game. At least they would use the Kremlings. Since I believe they used them in every Donkey Kong game they developed.
Donkey Kong without K.Rool is like Mario without Bowser. Or Sonic without Dr.Eggman.
For just a small K Rool representation at the park, the coolest way to incorporate him would be to have a pirate ship themed after a kremling pirate crew like in DKC2
Here's your daily reminder that, without Donkey Kong, Mario would be NOTHING.
And without K. Rool and the Kremlings there wouldn't be DKC games in the first place
@@E77A64 So true!
I'm sad that benevolent Bluster kong and his barrel factory aren't in the park.
I just wanna point out that there are DK games with these crocodiles that came out after Microsoft got Rare. They literally have no excuse.
Thats because K rool was still needed during the Dark age of DK. So it seems that they're not needed nowadays.
If we ever got that DK Illumination movie and Rool as well as the Kremlings WEREN’T the antagonists, I’d riot.
Miyamoto really wants to take all the credit for Donkey Kong today, when we all know it was the British and the Americans who made him who he is
Unfornately it seems that way as the way he was acting gave off vibes that he was acting like he created the Donkey Kong franchise alone when in reality Rare did.
Agreed.

That's it I'm dressing up as K rool and headed to DK country in Universal studios when that opens up here
I'm pretty sure is because of the time they were making it, it wasn't possible since Nintendo still had their dumb strict mandates
At this point, he deserves his own game now.
The park isn't even open yet, and we only really know about half of what is in the park currently. Considering the amount of Rare properties already present in the park, there is still a mighty chance that we'll see em there.
"These are just games from the past"
Yeah, you'd think the park would give some focus to characters liked by the people who are actually gonna pay for the family's tickets
I 100% agree. They need to put King K.Rool in the DKC movie.
They better not put the snowman’s or tiki tak tribe in the movie, since DKC did all started with K rool

Maybe they’re planning to include him soon. If not, maybe we should request for the park to have a K Rool model!
man it would be awesome to have a DKC - the kremlings return, but that's too much of a dream, I'm with you, the kremlings were gone with rare leaving nintendo :(
They could always make a new K Rool mascot costume to walk around the park, adding new mascots seems like a normal thing for theme parks to do over the years.
Besides Rambi, this park part of Nintendo World for Donkey Kong looks bare bones
Edit: My point is it's been 10 years since they released a brand new Donkey Kong Country Returns game, not talking about the ports for Returns Tropical Freeze and Returns HD coming to Switch, from both Wii U and Wii
King K.Rool is on a long date with Candy apparently because they have been gone for a long time

The worst part is, The Kremlings weren't even goalies in the newest mario striker game anymore tells me they don't like the Kremlings and K. Rool anymore
This realization is also how I felt when it came to roads worth not being in the Mario movie and in fact getting replaced by the glasses blue toad
Bro, Nintendo forgets about crocodiles, alligators and caimans
You know, apparently King K. Rool was supposed to make his comeback in Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze + New Funky Mode, but Nintendo denied that from happening because they knew Sakurai was adding him to smash and wanted that to happen first, and knowing that is so frustrating because they could have just delayed the game or release a DLC expansion for it but now whatever they were planning to do is just gone forever

If they make a donkey kong movie, and they don’t have k rool as the MAIN villain, it’s bombing
