Sending you hugs! I felt your emotions as you shared the call from the school. Your eyes were full of tears and you still maintained composure realizing what you could and couldn’t do. That is a remarkable trait to have and many will learn from your reaction. Thanks for sharing such a vulnerable moment and showing us how we all can mirror such a reaction if presented. ❤

I started shredding my own cheddar cheese. It takes me all of about a whopping 5 minutes and it lasts me about 2-3 weeks. Oh and I do 1 pound at a time.

I get 1kg blocks (I live in Australia), and our bags of pre-shredded cheeses only go up to 500g. Also you don’t need a lot of your own shredded cheese, I find you use majority of the pre-shredded stuff AND it doesn’t melt as nice as your own shredded does.

Love grocery shopping video days! I wish you would post your meal plan with the video so we can see what you are buying the ingredients to make (not the recipes I know you buy the app for that). Also if you can break down the budget for what amount of the $700 goes to breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks I’d be interested. I am messing the fresh food hauls you used to post as well to get the full picture. More videos haha Merry Christmas to you and your sweet family. So glad Kennedy is okay!

I’m sorry about the medical emergency and the fender bender on the school bus that is scary. You are such a great mom. When I was kid my mom used to drive a school bus and I rode with her we got into a really bad accident on the bus and I think the person that hit my mom on the bus was airflighted to hospital. It was scary. You’re a great mom!! I hope the person that had the medical emergency is okay. I hope you have the best Christmas and new years ever!!

Momma, in a non-combative tone, they can only eat what you bring in the house, right? I’m not saying go cold turkey, but offering other foods with the same enthusiasm as the sweets works wonders. Also trying less sweet things helps, like graham crackers instead of Oreos or a sweetened vanilla yogurt mixed with a plain yogurt. Helping their pallet to enjoy less sweet things is very helpful. My kids enjoy homemade cookies plenty, but they’re not always looking for sweets.
