It’s much easier if you theme every night. For us it’s Sunday- breakfast, Monday- sandwiches, Tuesday- chicken, Wednesday-beef, Thursday- salads or bowls, Friday- finger food, Saturday- take out. I put it all in an excel chart and weekly grocery list take me less than 5 minutes. I also account for foods that are only eaten in the summer/winter months.
I enjoyed your process! Appreciated the ums and uhs too, the realness of it all! This is closer to what I feel I can accomplish, I overcomplicate everything! Side note: I started including my 13 yr old daughter in the process to obviously teach her but to also hold myself accountable! Its been such an awesome time so far! ❤
This video is awesome!! New to your channel and really enjoying the binge! Can you direct me to specific videos for instruction on your current cleaning system for getting started?
Thanks for watching! I don’t have a playlist set up, but if you watch my videos from this year in order (not the planner videos), you will see the progression of what I started with this year and where I am now. I need to work on a playlist. I’m adding this to my list of things to do.
I have a very limited menu of options. Do you have any tips for me to try when trying to expand our options? I don’t have a lot of time to work through looking at a lot of recipes given the scrutiny required due to allergies. There may not be any help you can give but asking just in case. Love your insights and direction!
I haven’t ever had to navigate any kind of food allergies. It may be possible to find a food account on Instagram that shares allergy friendly recipes. @cleaneatingmom on IG might be helpful. I believe she is a health and wellness coach, but she often shares recipes that work for her family that have different food allergies.
Perhaps I don’t keep enough inventory of “easy” meals. That might be where I can increase my flexibility. I have a lot of food allergies so meals are challenging especially when my hubby and I aren’t getting home until shortly after 7pm 4 nights a week. Monthly planning may help me have flexibility with my inventory.
@@CarryGrace yeah the inventory you have on hand makes the planning less daunting. I usually try to buy just what I need so if something disrupts my plans I don’t have much options. Watching you mark through your inventory made it click with me. Thank you so much for sharing!
We have a lot of different variations and change it up. Base - grits, cream of wheat, or tater tots Eggs - scrambled or fried Meat - sausage, bacon, diced ham, cut up chicken fingers, or sausage gravy Top with shredded cheese

I know having a theme every night works well for a lot of people, but it stresses me out. 😅

Thank you! I love that you are including your daughter in the process. 💕
Please do cooking videos of all these delicious sounding recipes. Especially sweet and sour chicken.
I have been doing meal planning for years, but enjoyed watching how you go about yours. Looking forward to watching your next video. ❤
Thanks, Tammi!💕
Just found you. Looking forward to learning from you. PS I’m impressed that your shirt, lipstick and earrings match! I’m lucky if my shoes match 😂
I like this process very much. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much!
I loved this so much!!! Your videos are so great and helpful.
Thank you
I would like to see how you make some of these meals....I like ideas.
🩷Ok, thanks for letting me know. What are your top 3 you would like to see?

Yes, keeping more easy meal inventory can be a good place to start.
