Open your curiosity/perspective by reading other Holy books that God has sent down to man, such as the Qur'an which there are English translations for people who don't speak the native Arabic language just like how the Bible was written in Aramaic, Prophet Isa (AS)'s tongue.
I did ! I was gonna become Muslim because the dawah guys really made Islam sound good, and then i actually read parts of qur'an/hadiths/etc, and found out Muhammad to be a very, very questionable character (also there are TONS of contradictions, qur'an being uncreated literal word of God, then having several versions of it, specially in Africa, Aisha being 9 when engaging in s*x but at the same time Muhammad having very very good morals according to the qur'an, him wanting to sleep with his adopted son's wife thus banning adoption, his war practises, s*x slaves, kissing young boys, etc, all from authentic hadiths. Funnily enough all of this lead me to Jesus Christ, which if you keep your mind open, even in the qur'an, Jesus is way better than Muhammad (also there isnt enough historical evidence to show Muhammad actually existed btw)
Over time your palate should widen if you mew correctly. As this happens, you will progress much faster as you can maintain the correct mewing position all the time.
Thank you for this video, I can confirm, that it is possible to train oneself to a new swallowing habit. I've tried and got used to it, but it took some time, and requires discipline. Totally worth it. Now, I still have those teeth marks on my tongue, supposedly it's due to anxiety and my tongue pushes against the teeth when I'm sleeping. Is the indentation reversible?
@@itszero_2k404 Unfortunately not. Only way to really fix it is to get your palette widened via an appliance. I looked up the cost of orthotropic treatment where I'm from and it's ~9000 euros. Pretty expensive. I'm 22 and don't have that sort of money lying around. My teeth are pretty fine as it is so I might look at it again in the future.
What I've noticed is that as I collect the food/ liquid onto the roof of the mouth I sometimes put the tongue between my teeth, but when I actually got the food up their I swallow normally with no movement of the face and just the tongue on the pallet. Is this normal?
The truth is that I get more confused and at sometimes feel relief.... With this splint of a topic... I'm starting to loose hope... So I don't distroy my life... First of all, my face is just so oblongated that I would sometimes think no solution anymore... I feel like my pallate is too narrow causing my face to look long and dull... Any solution please because I ensure resting my tongue against the roof of my mouth... Every seconds..... Somebody pls help...!!!
There is a video about suction hold that explains this. You press the tongue to the roof of the mouth while also having a gentle suction to the roof to keep it there. But I don't think you have to have the suction hold while you are actually swallowing. The tongue just does a sort of undulation starting with the "n" position with the tip of the tongue to swallow.
How do you generate or maintain a suction hold between the tongue and the palate without also sucking the entire mouth (including the cheeks toward the teeth)?

That’s not true. I saw many videos of people with tongue thrust, and they weren’t „flat” at all. Also I want to add that I’ve been breastfed for 4 years and I still did not have a perfect swallowing technique.
It depends really, if you're a forward growing case with mild malocclusion you could probably get away with it as the tongue will counteract too much pressure of the braces

After mewing all day I can detect some teeth marks in my tongue. My tongue is in the roof. What about it
Same here. I THINK it's because our palates are too narrow to fit our entire tongue.

The content of the videos os amazing, but it would be of big help if you got a better microphone. Sometimes its difficult to understand the speech.
The microphone itself is fine, the audio is just ran through an over-aggressive compressor.

Yes, your tongue should stay on the palate, with slight suction to do so. No, the tongue should not suck on the teeth during a swallow.

It depends really, if you're a forward growing case with mild malocclusion you could probably get away with it as the tongue will counteract too much pressure of the braces
I wouldn't get the braces. See an orthotropist instead. You can look it up and find one in your area.

It's possible to swallow without pushing the tongue between the teeth and causing suction on them in doing so. Retrain swallow patterns
