One small note, clips you took while seated at your desk are shaking, it seems that the camera is not properly secured. The more You move the more motion there is on the clip. just an observation for your next shoot :)
or maybe the tripod on the floor with wooden floor does not help :)

Any idea how well it would look for sim racing? would ghosting be a big issue on one of these or 3 in a tripple set up? I would be coming from a 55 lg oled for the sake of tripples. I expect a big down grade, but i want to be able to stand whatever tripples i get lol. Hard to turn back from oled.
@casey22857 sheeeesh yeah down grade from oled everything looks bad lol 😆 but I would make sure you get the LED version of this monitor. As this version is a VA panel and has a bit of ghosting in shadows of games but still a great monitor for it's price
@TechTosh yeah a g1 55 oled I've loved every minute ive used it, I wanted to add 2 more but I just can't give up a whole room to my sim rig lol. I know someone that has 3 of 32s from this video I'm not sure if they are va or not probably are he wants $500 for all 3.
@@casey22857 every game for me played a little differently as far as having more or less ghosting a lot of game’s I’ve played you don’t even know or bother to notice but i don’t play racing games so that might play differently

Hey man, I've got two options on the table.
- LG Ultragear 1080p 24' IPS (LG24GN60R)
- LG Ultragear 1440p 32' VA (LG32GN600F)
I currently have a Dell 75hz 1080p monitor, going to upgrade soon. Any advice on the two monitors I've listed above?
If your not a heavy duty competitive gamer then I would go with the 32’ as everything will look nicer on a bigger 1440p screen over a 24’ 1080p

for fps gaming should i use freesync premium or 1ms motion reduction
I’ll be making a video on this topic soon with color correction/profile as well. But I was using freesync premium first with motion off and noticed it was good. But then I realized you can’t have both on so the past few days I’ve been running 1ms Motion on and I think this might be betterfor faster fps games but just use freesync in the game settings and has been running really smooth

I'm wondering buying one of this 32''' LG , but just want one more on a portrait mode, but I think 32 for a portrait will be too much, as you are on 27'' do you recomend it for a second monitor?
If you have another 32in then it wouldn’t look too big but if your other monitor is smaller then it might look awkward. My 27 is the smallest I’d go for a portrait monitor
I have this 32 inch VA screen set up portrait. I like it better than the 27 inch portrait. Nice size to have two large usable 1:1 windows

Need help please. I own this monitor and have problem with the audio output. It surely has a physical defect as jack can't slide in enough even the hole lentgh to the PCB is just right (measured with a toothpick). Obviously there must be a stucked pin inside the connector. The result is just a mono sound output where one side is dimmer than the other (

I have the same monitor and I’m struggling to get 165hz it’s capping out at 75. Drivers up to date and everything. My HDMI cable is 2.1 4K. I don’t know what to do. I also tried doing the display thing in windows and it’s still capped out at 75. Can anyone help.

Yes ips is the way too go but for a good price this monitor is still great. I only have bad ghosting on select games but Watching content and browsing, this monitor is great.

Yeah tarkov has a lot of dark areas in game so the ghosting can be more present but still looks good

Honestly I had a similar issue and got a new cable and seemed to fix it. But not to say that would fix your problem.

I'm thinking about the same model and I'm wondering if we'll watch the picture in 1080p if I have to call, but the RX 6700 XT should handle 1440p, at least that's how it's advertised.
That should definitely handle 1440p. I had a 1070 while using 1440p setup
for heavy competitive games if you ok with 60/90fps then go for it.
but 1080p will look bad unless you did the scale thing from amd Adrenalin setting to make screen smaller (black borders) , that my plan anyway

Yeah, the ppi density is the same of a 24 inch 1080p monitor. If you’re ok with that (I am) then you’ll enjoy this monitor.

Now when you say black smearing issue are you meaning a ghosting effect? For things like browsing then no. Only time I notice any real issues is when playing in fast pace, darkroom style games. And it’s not every game. But browsing and watching content it looks great! Black are really black with no bleeding. Colors are vibrant but it does take a few settings to adjust to get it where you want it

100% if your looking to upgrade to a 2k monitor instead of 1080p. I have had that monitor before. It was a TN panel so you'll definitely see an improvement in picture quality

Will a HDMI to display port allow the ps5 to be 120Hz? Also, how do you get the Ps5 volume to go through the monitor?
From my research you won't achieve 120hz if you use this monitor since the HDMI port is only 2.0. You can achieve 120hz if you use a monitor that provides 2.1 HDMI ports which is expensive
For your second query, even I was searching for a solution. Did you come across any possible solution. Only thing we know is using playstation headset.
for this same monitor on amazon a guy posted that if the hdcp settings is disabled, you will get 1440p at 120hz

@@hariprashaad5554 it didn’t work, but games that allow you to run them on 120hz will change it to 120hz. For example, when i play call of duty I am able to use 120hz.

They do have converters for which ever cable you want for the most part but it probably wont give you the full refresh rate of 165 if the xbox isn’t capable of outputting it. Just get what ever hdmi cable works for your xbox X

Well if your going to go portrait you want it to be ips as the angles of that with any other monitor would cause a glare.
You can also do with the good VA panel, but IPS is the way to go for portrait

Hey Man , I connected the monitor to my msi laptop using a display port 1.4 cable . Still I do not get 165hz . I get 144hz . How do I get 165hz ? What changes do I need to make in the settings ?
Could be just that your laptop can’t output enough for 165hz. But I would say go into “Nvidia Control panel” by right clicking on your homescreen. If you don’t have that then make sure you have it installed by their website. From there you would have more options to mess with monitors setting

Of course. You might not hit 165hz on some AAA games as you won’t get those frames in game but you’ll still run it just fine

This display resolution is QHD, that's not want HDMI 2.1 (HDMI 2.0 max specs is 1440p @144hz & 4k @60hz)
It’s hdmi 2.0 only supports up to 4k 60hz or 1440p at 120hz for Xbox

there are many ways, commonly it would be application based but windows does give you an option to enable HDR.
