The answer is usually one of three things:
1. Tripped
2. Dropped
3. DeSeaned
DeSeaned💀
you forgot Bebeed
Can’t forget the refs parlay affecting it
Desean was number 4.
God bless everyone.

7:23 "SD VS OAK" Bruh, making me feel old as shit.
These teams moved less than a decade ago.
Playing on the Oakland A's infield for good measure.
@@hiimemily Yeah but tbf their most recent periods of success as the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers occurred decades ago now, which feels very strange to think about since that was the NFL I (we) grew up with
this is such a difficult video to watch lol
lol, painful!
People are going to drop passes, and even fumble when hit, but the ones that should not happen are the showboating players celebrating early, dropping the ball before the goal line, or slowing down (Deon Sanders tackled by the punter was awesome!).
Daniel Jones went down like he got hit by a sniper 😂
am pretty sure he was just too winded and lose running form. he was leaning way to far forward and gravity took over.
Danny Dimes got tripped up by a ghost 😂
Nah Agent 47 was in the stands in a sniping position and the bullet hit bro in the legs
6:51 this punter has that dog in him. A hell of a play!
The slip by Daniel Jones is laughable 😂
Ya know its hard for me to blame a dude for getting winded on a long ass run like that lol
@@HutchIsOnYT he didn't get winded he just tripped. When I get tired I don't just fucking trip.
He isn't use to running that fast😂😂

1:08 Idk if you can blame the player for this one, ref got in his way 😂
Of course you don't, fans were booing the idiot ref.

23:20 - The most INFAMOUS dropped touchdown pass in NFL history: "Oh, bless his heart! He's got to be the SICKEST man in America!"
23:37 - RANT INCOMING! I am sick and tired of people lambasting this play call. This is a major hot take, but I am willing to do a deep dive to explain why I think it was a better call than running it. From the standpoint of reading the defense, New England had eight in the box, and I don't like my chances running the ball against eight in the box, even if I have Barry Sanders in a jumbo formation. Marshawn Lynch obviously isn't Barry Sanders, so passing the ball is the obvious call. As for the play design itself, it's actually a Pete Carroll special that he's used quite a bit over the years against man-coverage looks on the goal line, and it can be symmetrically flipped to either side of the field. The basic concept is that on whichever side the quarterback throws to, two receivers will line up there. The inside receiver is there as a decoy whose job is to rub the defensive back covering him. The outside receiver's route is behind the rub and then into the end zone, where the quarterback will do a pre-planned throw, and if the defensive back covering him tries to follow him behind the rub, it's an easy touchdown. The ONLY way this play fails is if the defensive back doesn't follow the receiver behind the rub and instead takes a direct path to where the ball is thrown to, which had never happened before Super Bowl XLIX, and hasn't happened since. What Carroll didn't foresee was that Bill Belichick had run this specific play in practice because he knew that it could potentially be called at some point, and that Malcolm Butler was burned repeatedly on it. So, it's 2nd & goal to go from the 1, with the game in the balance. Butler, who'd been burned two plays earlier on Kearse's incredible catch, is frantically subbed in by the coaches because they think that Carroll is about to call that particular design. When Butler lines up on the outside, it's almost as if a lightbulb clicked on in his head, because instead of chasing the receiver like he'd done in practice, he takes a direct path to where the throw will be and picks it off to win the Super Bowl. The design didn't fail because it was a bad design or because it was the wrong call for that situation, it was beaten by one of the greatest defensive plays ever made.
man ur to funny 😂
I’m subbing
I always appreciate index posts and the added commentary is sublime 😂
Daniel Jones trips over Sam Danolds ghost 👻😂.
😂😂😂😂
I remember desean jackson threw the ball before he stepped in the end zone lol and crazy part is it was a fumble and the cowboys didn’t know it so they didn’t pick up the ball
They actually did, but the whistle had been blown, so the ball was dead.
Its absurd bc that shit happens way too often. Its ridiculous
My favorite part of that clip is desean doing the double take looking back like he kinda thought for a second, “oh shit” then just says screw it and starts dancing 😂
The best part is it wasn't his first time dropping the ball before the goal line.

7:01 what can Wims do right 😂 he randomly punches CGJ one day and drops an easy TD another
As a Ravens fan, I knew the Flowers fumble inches before the goal line during the 2024 AFCC would be here, and it still hurts.
If you drop the ball at the goal line to look cool, you should never be allowed to play another down in your life, at any level of the game.
It only seems to be a certain type of player that has trouble with the goal line. They seem to care more about looking good than being good.
Lol over-exaggeration
Say this, you are getting over pressured sometimes you sell and choke.
Even though I know what this video is about, I’m still kinda expecting most players to catch the ball when it’s passed and shaking my head when they don’t. 😅
Turf monster moments
Man....this channel is awesome!
14:18 I'll be mad if I'm Dante Hall! I can't stand when Teammates try to outrun you but won't block for you! Block his behind!!!
1:13 that should not be allowed Lol

That ref should’ve got flagged for that pass interference
Danny dimes tripping on a dime.
Ted Ginn Jr. The greatest at dropping game winning touchdowns to ever play.
6:48 props to the punter for the chase down
Seeing Daniel Jones just trip over nothing will never not be funny
I remember in junior varsity my freshman year of football I caught a pass wide open path to the endzone and just got too excited and fell down b4 I could score a tud. It's a weird feeling like your feet are slower than your upper body. It was embarrassing
Can't imagine how Danny Dimes felt in front of millions of people
18:09 That chase down by Adam Vinatieri was legendary, he doesn’t even have the angle and Hershel Walker has a full head of steam, he’s a kicker and he tracks him down holy 😮
that shocked me as well, that's some incredible athleticism for a kicker
Love those Darrell Green clips. In excellent quality too!
This is so painful. I know what's coming each time and it's STILL something that makes me wince in anguish with each instance. Great compilation!

5:03 watch how he has his hands. That's proper form he just missed it. Need some grip boost
On the very next clip he has his hands the wrong way and misses it embarrassingly... grip boost won't help without proper form😂
I love the great defensive play ones more than offensive players screwing up. Great work on D guys!
Also, it's incredible how many of these mistakes/missed chances happened to guys who are Hall of Famers!

Danny Dimes falling was the perfect symbol for the NFC east at the time.
19:58 Ed Reed certainly overcame that rookie mistake to have a Hall of Fame career.
Okay, we're all human, but come on, catch the ball. Your hands don't slip on that paycheck, do they?

This video is actually enfuriating 😂

Wow a Stevie Johnson appearance 😂😂😂
6:50 when the script fails:
The way Julio face planted 😂😂
8:47 If Denver had recovered it, it would have been 4th & 99!!!!
They probably would've sent their punt team out.
I believe that if they would've recovered then it would've been a first down for them since it was a turnover into another turnover
people like to conveniently forget that despite the trip, the Daniel Jones run did lead to a touchdown from Wayne Gallman - It'd be a lot worse if they had to settle for an FG on that drive
Nice to see it happens to the greats and not just the DeMarcus Robinson’s of the world
Watching Santonio Holmes drop that pass knowing what he did to my Cardinals in the super bowl is so sickening😢
“Lockett Drop It” 🎶
For anyone wondering, the Cardinals did not score a touchdown after Metcalf tackled him. (But the cardinals still won)
Your UA-cam Channel Is Number #1 NFL Throwback
15:08 to be fair, i don't think he was trying too hard to score, i think he just wanted to run the clock out and see how far he could go
As my dad used to say..."Sorry to hit you in the hands with that throw."
everytime I see that Romo clip, he looks closer and closer to getting in
same with the Lett play, strangely
I'll never forget that Bears/Steelers blocked FG and missed TD. It is one of the worst executed sequences in NFL history. Everyone was repeatedly screwing up, both the Steelers and the Bears, but also the refs and the broadcast crew.
In summary:
1) Greg Gumbel mentioned right before the FG attempt that Boswell hadn't missed anything that year
2) The Steelers blocking scheme allowed a super easy blocked kick
3) Gumbel then declared the Bears were going to get a TD, but Marcus Cooper Sr. didn't run the ball into the end zone
4) After the fumble, all the Steelers had to do end the half was make sure Cooper didn't recover the ball in the end zone, but instead they illegally batted it out of the end zone, drawing a penalty flag
5) The refs forgot the penalty was supposed to give the Bears an untimed down, so they called the half over and sent both teams to the locker room
6) Mike Tomlin told his players to stay in the locker room and so the Steelers had to be retrieved and sent back on the field
7) With the ball respotted at the 1 yard line, and then moved to the half yard line with enforcement of the penalty, the Bears decided to use their untimed down to go for a TD, but then committed a false start
8) The Bears mercifully ended the half by kicking a FG
That sequence took something like 10 minutes in real time.
Why am I watching this😭. Shits making me mad 😭😭
Surprised Calvin Johnson having the ball punched out a foot away didn't make it 🤔
Hope you get to one million subs soon.
I get why the Daniel Jones play is on here.
But, 2 plays later, Wayne Gallman ran it in for a TD.
That Daniel Jones slip defined the next two years of Giants football 😢

How did they not score? The announcer goes "Sanchez..." Ah. That's how.
The Cowboys would have had the record for most points scored in SB history (58 or 59) if Leon Lett hadn't celebrated too early @4:08. 🤦♂

That was Deion Sanders on the Cowboys in the first clip

The turf monster got some of these players
I have a memory of Napoleon Kaufman being chased down on a long run.
Jones looked gassed which is part of why he tripped. I am sure if he didn't trip and fall the philly defender to his left behind him would have caught him before the end zone.
After a few of these clips I started to think about Leon Lett and then....
This is entertaining but the difference between the Daniel jones play or one where they end up getting tackled near the end zone versus a touchback is huge. One is monster positive play the other is turnover.
Was Julio the best receiver in this video to drop it? Specifically drop and not getting turf monstered/touchback/etc.
