Hola Ariel, qué bueno que podemos ayudarte. We think listening to a clear, natural paced but not too fast Spanish (like the one we use) can help your listening comprehension a lot! And then you will be more comfortable dealing with faster / harder accents :) I don´t really know about Puerto Rican Spanish shows, but if you type Puerto Rican Spanish in UA-cam there are a lot of fun videos explaining the accent and slang.

if you still need help, watch el ganador and read the transcript and shadow like these guys said, the r to l rumor is kinda false (depends on area) but borinqueños tend to have a swing to the way they say things and cut a lot of words like instead of todo, nada, para it would be to’, na’, pa’ they also cut the “s” out of pretty much everything, i only know these things because PR spanish is the best imo and that’s how i found myself learning it 😂

@@HowtoSpanishOfficial pero 100% vale la pena
I just found your channel so I’m unsure if you’ve already done this, but I think it’d be really helpful if you brought in guests from all types of Spanish speaking countries to tell stories like this! The Mexican accent is pretty easy for me to understand, so I’d like to try this exercise with someone from the Caribbean, or chile or Argentina or really anywhere! Thanks for this awesome video!
Gracias!
Me encanta su canal. Me ayuda mucho. Gracias por todos los videos
I found this because today I decided to learn a new language. I figured the best way to learn is to just keep listening. Hopefully I can understand this one day.
You will! Keep it up :)
Disfrute mucho. Mil gracias.
When Mafer started talking I was like, There is no way I'm going to understand this story. But by the end, I was getting 99%. Thanks for the confidence booster!
Con gusto!
Great podcast thanks!
I'm from Brazil, and is easy to understand Spanish even though I never studied it, I'm studying English and I want to be fluent in Spanish, I believe it will be simpler, faster than English 👏🏼
This was awesome! I love how expressive she is! Are there any more videos with Mafe?!
How to Spanish Podcast gracias.
Buen trabajo 👍🏼
How to Spanish Podcast gracias 👍🏾
Gracias por todo. ¡Ésta es increíble!
Quiero ser amiga de Ma Fer! Ella parece tan divertida y tiene tanta energia. 😄 Deberia tener su propia show! 😆
But also, gracias! This video helps my Spanish a lot!
I learned Spanish a long time ago and I can read, write, and speak pretty well, but I have an INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TIME understanding others because I never bother to actually hear others speak. I also had a very hard battle with embarrassment because when I knew much less, people overestimated what I could do and when I didn’t live up to the hype, I had to deal with their disappointment
Ahhh, sí, te entiendo. I wish you the best in your learning journey!
Hola David, Ana, Mafer! Muchas gracias por las historias chistosas. Que bien para practicar Espanol! Saludos!
I’ve been obsessively trying to learn Spanish because I’m going to Mexico in a couple months. I have watched almost all of your videos trying to learn.
How was your journey? I wanna go there too soon :)
@@CanariasCanariassit was amazing. We went to Puerto Escondido in late july. The water is so clear and the food is delicious. I even got to speak to some of the locals in Spanish and overall it was a great experience.
We need more talks like this. Easy words repeated often.

Yaaay
So im freshly squeezed beginner at spanish … n I actually understood some sentences here…. I will be back in tres meses to update … Thank u guys
You're welcome!!
Wow, now I have seen one of the latest episodes and compare to this and the studio the change is huge 😮
me encanto escuchar a estas istorias
Omg I’m glad I found this cause I can read Spanish but once people start talking it sounds like made up words so I hope this helps me, also can anyone help me out with good beginner Spanish shows that’ll also help particularly Puerto Rican ones because I’m trying to get ahold of their slang and accent.
How to Spanish Podcast thanks also any tips on speaking? Like pronoucing the words because that’s really hard as well
@@ariela_ Do shadowing. Listen to an audio book or a video or something with a transcription, even a song and repeat after them. Singing also works wonders. It is a process tough, so it takes time! And also, if you find someone you can talk to in Spanish, practice makes perfect.
if you still need help, watch el ganador and read the transcript and shadow like these guys said, the r to l rumor is kinda false (depends on area) but borinqueños tend to have a swing to the way they say things and cut a lot of words like instead of todo, nada, para it would be to’, na’, pa’ they also cut the “s” out of pretty much everything, i only know these things because PR spanish is the best imo and that’s how i found myself learning it 😂
@@jozuemikalauskas oh thanks, isn’t that a song tho? I feel like I heard it before. I gave up completely on trying to learn cause I just can’t get ahold of understanding it unless it’s written
Please make more videos with Mafer! This is so good!
Like my 3rd time watching this through I’m pretty sure they are talking about travel I’m dedicated to watching this vid everyday until I completely understand. Update not sure how many times I watched it now but I’m getting there, update still working on it update instead of just listening im trying to mimic what they are saying kinda hard but lets go!!!
I've watched this show a million times over that past two years. I am able to comprehend more and more each time.
¡Muy buena plática! Gracias por compartir sus historias
Does Mafer have a UA-cam channel?
I'd love to listen to more of her stories.
A round of applause for the person who transcribed Mafe 👏
How to Spanish Podcast Me refiero a con un invitado.
Mafe is muy graciosa.
Ahhh! Excelente ☺️
I love spanish language love from India
This is my favorite video!!!
Gracias!
Súper! :)
Am Gosling learn this story by heart word by Word then tell a bunch of people. Good way to practice
Great channel. I'm from Bangladesh and understand mostly English. Wanna learn Spanish.
Loved this! Thank you
Hola, Hydie. Muchas gracias! Feliz navidad a ti también
Hi Hydie, nice to meet you. My name is Enrique Daniel, I from Ecuador and speak Spanish. We could practice some times Spanish and the otherwise some times English with skype. My mail address is jeddiaz@hotmail.com. Lend me a mail to contact with me if you are interesting. Excuse me for anything error. I hope for your request. Thank you.
😮. Ahora me siento como he retrocedido dos años. Pero no me daré por vencido.
Gracias por el podcast.. Estaba escuchandolo cuando cocinar 😊
