Mumbai Police, arrested the main accused in the Worli hit-and-run case Mihir Shah and took him to the Worli Police Station. Mihir's mother and two sisters, who have been allegedly missing since the accident, have been taken into custody by the Mumbai Crime Branch from a place near Shahpur and will soon be handed over to the Worli Police.
Will the victims get justice or will the super rich face no consequences?

Actually the law in Mumbai is: Once somebody is arrested even in a petty case judicial custody is a must.The accused can't simply be released directly from the court premises that too just in a day without being sent to Jail!This is not simply just a hit&run case,it's clearly a hit&kill case that fits under sec 302+ rightaway ! Can you please make the government ban engines larger than 1.9 litres ( 1900 cc). Can you please do something that the govt bans engines with RPM greater than 5500 . Can you please ban oversquare or short stroke engines which produce high horsepower power and also square engines even though they are argued as good and minimally under squared engines are okay. Bearing in mind the population of India and the safety of road users and because of the fact we don't have standardization of vehicles, we have cycles, mopeds, scooters, motor bikes, cars from hatchback sippers, compact sedans, sedans, large sedans ( eclass or entry level luxury measuring 4.75 metres) and supreme class sheer luxury measuring between 4.8 to 5.2 metres a class where there are no restrictions they range from 4 to 8 cylinders, 3000 cc to 5000 cc which are not meant for India. The sad truth is we have suvs and muvs 4.6 metres plus weighing more than 1.7 tonnes extending upto 2 tonnes . Such heavy vehicles are called LMV. Any vehicle exceeding 1.3 tonnes is not an LMV. All suvs and muvs weighing more than 1.3 tonnes must be classified as MHMV ( medium heavy motor vehicle) . There must be a law where only a 25 year old must get a four wheeler licence and after gaing 10 years of driving experience must be eligible to get a MHMV license, in other words he will be 35 years old when he begins to handle a vehicle greater than 1.3 tonnes. The government and the transport department doesn't understand that luxury vehicles need not have such ghost powered engines. Luxury means, good suspension, good ride,minimal road noise, minimal vibration and smooth running engine and not ghost power. The contessa classic was a luxury car about 4.6 metres and weighed 1.2 tonnes did it not run with 1800 cc izuzu engine, was not the standard 2000 which weighed 1.3 tonnes run with a 2 litre engine.If you want safe motoring in india the largest muv and suv should be 4.4 metres and the largest sedan should be not exceeding 4.6 metres.please Arnab, please please save India and the innocent on road. I have been writing for years , nobody does anything.please save India.
