- With Ralsei as mediator, Susie wants a tense spar. Will Kris reciprocate?
Deltarune close-quarters combat. A visualization of X-Slash and Red Buster at 100% TP. Probably my magnum opus of sprite animations. A 3K special. Made in two weeks; each day catering to either writing, planning, audio, editing, and the actual animation. I think it was worth it.

That quality switch in the fight was completely out of no where and I love it

Neat detail of Susie dealing 666 damage when she uses Red Buster and Kris instead dealing 999 with X-Slash.
Nice job and cool animation!
If I may add to that, Susie dealt less damage because Kris defended Red Buster
@@getthedunkon9347 Not just that... defending in-game reduces damage by 1/3! The 666 defended damage is consistent with the 999 undefended damage! Good stuff.
Another detail i noticed, Kris used X-Slash 3 times on his finisher so you can call it XXX-Slash lol
Also using a pirouette to evade Susie's attack
The casual Snowgrave reference was appropriately chilling

DUDE, that fight scene blew me away so much you wouldn't believe it! It was the exact amount of pace and action I could possibly ask for.
Not to mention you timed everything to the music really well, which is one of the simplest, yet one of the most effective ways one can earn my respect.

There IS a spell that requires 100%TP other than snowgrave. It's Susie's UltimateHeal. She would know this better than anyone.
It's also probably not a "proper" spell since Susie is still learning how to cast magic that isn't rude/red buster

Holy cow! I was expecting some sort of casual regular battle between Kris and Susie but this full-scale animation fight sequence was absolutely epic. Very good Deltarune content.

No drawings lol, just the sprite sheets available online and CapCut

Obviously she has her own soul, she's a monster. I don't understand *why* Deltarune works in the way they the party leader/human's should is the main one that takes damage for everyone. It could just be a gameplay thing but maybe there is a thematic reason for it
