  • Buffalo’s Silo City was created in the early 1900’s as the city became a port for grain and a flour milling hub.
    Concrete grain elevators line the Buffalo River and Lake Erie. Some of the grain elevators need preservation and others are being converted for new uses. Guided tours on foot or by boat are available. What will happen to these huge structures in the future?
    Nearby try Wonder Coffee House or Duende right in the middle of the silos.
