Hi Kevin! Your style of teaching is awesome! Informative and fun! I am teaching my fellow veterans to play guitar. I hope to be able to show the same enthusiasm as you do. As you say “Rawk on!!”
My aha moments have lead me to be quite the lazy guitarist. But oh well it sounds good. Like an A chord I’ll just hold down d&g 2nd fret. Same for Em. Just move my index up a string. Then if I wanna play G I only have to use one finger… just when I’m playing rhythm though.
Another way to use less strings and sound great is playing triads - learn how here: ua-cam.com/video/DY8O4oYl9-c/v-deo.htmlsi=vRuVjToJu_EK5SZU

Thanks so much! That's great you are teaching guitar to fellow vets. It's a great way to connect.
you should make a guide to johnny's chicken in black!
Great guitar wisdom as always. Thanks so much.
Glad you liked it!

What's your favorite Police album?
👍👍
Wow. Tough question. They are one of my most favorite bands. If I had to choose one I would have to choose Reggatta
@Relaxandlearnguitar yup, that's a good one, I'd have to go with Ghost
Those root notes matter a bunch lol
Sure do!
