I am becoming paralyzed by ALS. Technological innovation will be a version of a cure. Thank you for utilizing your time and talents for the betterment of those of us physically limited. Keep going!!
Use these instead of Cctvs anywhere .
Imagine how many people would get uneasy at one time
Yeah , pair it with an RPi running person tracking . I know what I'm doing this winter xd
You should make these (eyes) with embedded cameras and motion tracking for security systems.
I was thinking the same, but just for Halloween. Eyes that follow you around.
This. This so many times
I dont want to see fnaf 2 animatronics irl this early!
Mw gusta este mecanismo.
Thank you for all your hard work and design Will. I'm looking forward to your eye series, they are amazing!
These quick hard movements look sick, in a bad way.
At 2:30 he demonstrates that slow movements can be made too
You've made an awesome cooperation helping a lot of people in their robotic proyects. I hope more of them to understand the huge effort you made with every robot scheme you upload.
Just remember your help is priceless!
Keep going :) and Good luck friend!
Really glad that u're back mate.
Love your project, i just like how you put all the hard work into it to turn it into some quality stuff that all ppls can enjoy.
So talented and hard working. Keep on the good stuff mate
Thanks mate, I'm glad you're enjoying them!
Thank you for all your hard work in building the project you show on your web site and here.
I will be following you and building the project as you post them.
It is nice to see someone that feel that sharing project like your so others can continue the research and exploring and learning .
I wish their were more like you. Thank you again for all you put into this.
In 3 years this gets recommended to everyone and has 5 mio views.
knowing the algorithm probably
Yeah, that’s just how youtube is
hopefully
It is already in the algorithm
already happening
Loved this idea since seeing the first video. Can't wait to see the others to come on this project. Keep up the great work!
looking forward to seeing the files available. Love your work! Keep it up. We need people like you out there. One day that bionic hand will help many amputees.
I'm really excited for more videos, just as you said I originally found you form the hand video, but I subscribed when I saw these eyes. Then I saw all your upcoming projects, WOW there's some good content coming down the line.
Goodluck
You constantly spark my interest in robotics, I will be watching and hopefully building along side.
Those eyes and mechanisms look fantastic. Looking forward to the videos on those!
man you deserve subscribers and your works deserves to be seen by the world. this is great.
These are amazing! Thank you for all you share. Fantastic work.
This is VERY interesting, I hope everything goes well for you!
Well done, Will! Great stuff.
Thanks for sharing.
Just randomly found you in my recommended videos. I love your projects! I always loved mechanical hands and I'm currently looking and a Hexa or Quadro pod "robot". Its fun! Cant wait to see more!
I just lost my sheeeet
I've wanted to explore eye mechanisms for quite some time, but a lot of the stuff I wanted to watch/follow were stuff that belong to university/paywall. so it was really cool to see this and to hear you are making parts of it open for other users. I'll definitely be giving it some serious attention in the near future. Something like this is better to protect with a trademark (the logo) than it is to patent it (at least according to the lawers I have been talking to for my own projects) so it's cool to see you trying to implement a logo.
loved ur projects, welcome back, hope to see more of great works
hey, i just want to say thank you, because i'm doing a 3D printed hand in the school (im 18), i've been working on that the all year, and you gave me some ideas for the mechanisms, in this days i will be finishing the printing and the Arduino sketch, and yeah, the wrist took me a while, but i think it will work. Goodbye, and let's finish those projects!
I just found your Chanel today and this is the video I found! I am so excited to see what you do in the future! You are why I am excited to be alive!
Me personally I think it’s really nice of you first of all to make these things free. And I really hope that people find it in the hearts to donate to you after all your hard work you’ve put into it. If you get some cameras in them eyes and a red eye. You know where this is goin. Good job my friend
👍🏽😁
I dont know why u still not get over 100m sub already.
Your work and content are more quality than most other DIY channel out there.
Jesus
Awesome project. Love the bionic hand.
Finally, someone with the same mindset as me. Good job on the hand, I have some orthographic projections of something extremely similar, I never got to the project but the idea was to make a skeletal hand, operated via wire by servos in the arm. Also, the user would wear a glove with padding on the inside to protect it and also to make it appear more natural in public. Keep it up
Really looking forward to the series on eyes, very cool.
Very cool! I haven't started yet, but thinking about making an eye for my new home that will follow people by video and sound. Am watching this video to get an idea of what I will need to do and most likely will download your versions to play with.
I love the hand and the eyes, great job
Really happy to know you’ve thought about the future. Subscribed.
Man that's so cool! So glad I found your channel!
love the work you're doing, all the best, as for the bionic arm, nice, made one when i was a kid, used another way to operate it made it smoother.
just awesome . please make sure to make these superb projects and share details. thanks
Thanks for your contribution and altruistic nature. Love your work.
Instant subscribe! Awesome work, really looking forward to it.
THIS LOOKS AWESOME !! DAMN :D. Excited for your next videos !
Duuude this is the first video I saw from you and I already subscribed, all your projects looks so cool and awesome and it’s make me want to do things like that I love this kind of things this kind of projects
Good luck with all your projects
(English isn’t my native language)
Good idea on the branding! I love the logo.
man I really appreciate if a genius artist like yourself shows around how their machines work, but putting the blueprints online for free to anyone is beyond words.
This is insane. Great job.
Quite interesting that I was trying to make eyes that move realistically and have eyelids that accompany the eyes as in real life, but in 3D and without any reseach on how to do it, just photo, video and anatomical references, and I came to the same solution for the eyelid motion as you did:
just make the skin around the eyes weighted gradually from 1 to 0 from the center to the outskirts (or in your case simple shell in the form of a quarter of a sphere that have both hinges on the "points") rotate on an axis fixed on the eye's center that goes through left-right poles of the eye. Rotates up and down only, with the eyes, independent of the blinking motion, but have a limiter to rotate half as much as the eye. Just 2 controls, one blink other move the eye, yet it's so realistic. Simple but powerful
Psyched to see you back mate. Looking forward to the upcoming videos (just don't burn yourself out 🙂)
You are making some incredible stuff man, giving it away for free too. Wow. Awesome projects.
This is great timing for me! After seeing the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, I've been thinking a lot about 3d printed eye mechanics, and sure enough this popped up in my feed today! thanks for sharing!
me too!
Great videos!!! Can't wait to watch more
sick logo, mate. well done!
Very nice... would like to also see videos on the failures, what did not work, what botch as those videos are great learning tools to understand what goes into it and how something little can botch the project. Thank you.
My family and I replicated your original Animatronic Eye project in which not only were we successful, but had a great time doing it. For this we thank you sir! We all applaud your efforts to keep your projects free for everyone to learn from.
Looking forward to seeing your website as we have our 3D printers fired up anxiously awaiting to try the upgraded version of the Animatronic Eye Project. It looks fantastic and we think we have all if the parts ready to go.
Again, Well done sir and THANK YOU from my family and I am sure a ton of people around the world. Much appreciated
Bob, that makes me so happy to hear! I should have it out very soon, I hope you and your family enjoy building it.
i like your new animatronic eye project. Congratulations.
Man... I love you and your work, you're fantastic, keep going you'll definitely do something huge in life
By the way I'll open a chanel soon, and I'll contact you after.
I've made an incredible robot. And Maybe that I'll need your advice
The hand looks so beatiful
wow! nice upgrade 👍
Just saw this video and it looks cool and being free is awesome keep it up dude
Look into hiding logos or text within the models inner walls and infill when 3D printing? Maybe it's harder to scrub identifying marks out of interior surfaces?
Very interesting project!!
It's good to hear you again after long time
Wow love your work
Dude I am a dummy but I love watching things like this And I really like your honesty in the time restrictions you have. With the complicated builds you are working on so keep up the good work and thanks. ✌️👆🤘
Oh man, This is amazing!
Oh man, the motion is better then most high end, big budget animations known as dead eye syndrome, AWESOME JOB, CONGRATS
Jeeeez dude, i'm into RC so wandered here. you got skillz man. the servos brought me here lol
I don't even know where to start learning electronics, enginnering, programming. I feel so lost.
Great project
Simply hatss off....! Superb...!!!
Can't wait for the upcoming video's 👍👍👍
Now we can build Inspector Gadget!
Hell yeah!
Great job
Biomimetic hand, 3d printed skeleton, muscle fibers that contract when voltage is applied, latex skin, touch sensors, joint angle and torque sensors, that's going to be cool!
This is very impressive.
I've been looking around for some eye animatronics for a puppet I'm creating, and these look like some of the best ones that don't cost an arm and a leg. If I do print a set, I'll be sure to credit your frankly amazing work
Edit: Don't know if you're planning to incorporate your logo into the stl files, but I saw Maker's Muse has a video on essentially 'watermarking' your files to make sure your creations are identified as yours
Loving your videos and approach. Keep it up with these great designs. Maybe for detailed parts think of using an sla printer (if you aren't already) and then casting multiple pieces a lot faster and accurate, seeing that you are familiar with most of the processes
Thanks, I don't have access to an SLA printer right now but I'm love to own one haha.
Beautiful
Great job 👀
👏👏👏👏👏
we have been waiting so so long
First time i see one of your videos and you condemn some projects. Progress, onward and upward.
This is wicked cool
totally PERFECT !
Will Cogley you are my inspiration
Is there any chance you’ll release the STL files for the gloves?
The updated eyes look astronomically better than your prior version- greatwork!
Thanks Ryan, I'll have to check with the university to see if they're okay with it, but I think it still has a long way to go before its reliable. When I can design an updated version I'll release the files for sure.
Super legal! Wonderful!
So amusing to see this stuff. 🐶🐶🐶
impressive work, hope those eye videos comes out before halloween :)
Thanks, yeah I wish I could have everything out for Halloween but I think it will be a little later unfortunately :(
@@WillCogley have you seen this?
ua-cam.com/video/aLaqMreVj9o/v-deo.html
its a really cool joint design.
This is so cool
Impressionante o tão realista esse projeto, parabéns 👍👍
thanks for exist! you inspire me
You are amazing guy!
Cool stuff
Cool build i like it
Hey Will, Love the work man! what is the progress on the eye mechanisms? I really wanna get stuck in and make them
The best part that I like about his demonstration of work is the way he nicely explains the product and how it is made. Thanks for providing useful insight Will. 👍
I'd love to line a dark alley with these
the new five nights at freddy's looks interesting
yep
Indeed
Who else love FNAF robot
You did not just comment that
very cool
Hats off Boss🤗🤗
very hot stuff.. keep the vids coming...
Very very cool.
That is very cool. I made some eye mechanics out of popsicle sticks, ping pong balls, and paper clips. This on the other hand is pro level. I hope to be there some time. Best day & Best wishes to you & yours.
Nice now install it in a painting, you know, with those spooky following eyes 👍.
Ironically, this video is my introduction to your channel, and I have a feeling I'm in for an exciting ride.
If you don't mind me asking, what is your profession?
Very nice
