You are amazing Billy, I really appreciate your work and your skills , I think I have to watch this video twice , a lot of info to melt. Love you Chanel one of the best maybe the best 🌟 , no comparison to others... Take care and keep it up buddy . Greetings from Thailand 🙏🏻👍🏻
Hi Billy. Great review! Our community college is acquiring a new Matrice 300. We teach ground school and flight school to aspiring commercial drone pilots. This will be a great addition. Your overview was super … as are all of your reviews. All the best.
That’s awesome you were able to get it to do a great review with, I may be going to work with a friend and this is the drone and camera we will be using!
I then went and installed a AVSS parachute system on the M300 I fly for work... now it's even safer :D it still has it quirks but it's solid where it counts and that is flying :)
Fantastic informative video about the DJI Matrice M300 Billy. The drone is incredibly impressive and gives a hint of technology that can be implemented in the consumer level drones.
Great review! The bottom part of the remote opens up for a 4GLTE USB dongle. I tried to use it at one point for RTK, I didn't like it. So I use a WIFI hotspot instead.
I will be purchasing this drone for an unrelated commercial application. I can't help but wonder if it will be any good at doing videography like the Mavic 3 or Air 2s.
I honestly think you’re more likely to crash a Dji mini than the Matrice because a Dji mini will be used by beginner pilots as well as used in smaller spaces however the big Matrice will be flown by a proper pilot at high attitudes where there is not much to crash into.
My boss had one of these M300's (key word, HAD)! He owns a surveying company and uses lots of drones for the work. He had only flown the M300 three times, and on that third flight, some A-hole shot it out of the sky! It completely destroyed the drone. He was never able to identify exactly who shot it down, as no one wanted to take responsibility for it, but it was DEFINITELY a gunshot that brought it down, as it had a perfect large caliber bullet hole through the body of the drone and he heard the shot.
@@prafullarora He never did find out who shot it down. He smartly had insurance on the drone though, so after a couple months of back and forth with the insurance company, he finally got the drone replaced. I don't know the full details, but I think he had to pay a deductible. But at least he wasn't completely out of pocket for the total cost of that M300!
Would of been nice to hear your comments & Demo on the sensors blind spots (Indicated by the greyed out wedges on the round "radar" display on the screen) - to see what flying scenarios that could create an issue?
Love all your info videos. I have a iPad mini that always shows CPU is full when used with my Mavic 3 controller. Have you ever had same problem? Called Apple and they say its not coming from the iPad. Any help would be appreciated Billy.
What's difference between infrared sensor and normal vision sensor?for consumer drones like m air 2 the infrared one is only at down..can you please explain this sir?
Great review Billy. I do have one question can the footage of the drone be shown on another source such as a tv in a command center? I currently use the Autel Evo with the autel live deck. I use this for on site auctions showing the property while they auction is in progress.
It’s has an HDMI output on the top of the RC, you then select which screen to output like FPV or Zoom. The latest updated added an additional option for live feed.
Bro you just took off the batteries from the aircraft and without putting the protective cover aka plug on it then you put them face down so grass, water, soil etc....gets in direct contact with the connector part. Please tell me that you have realized it and you wont do it again. That just broke my heart man. As a M300 owner that was hard to watch. But good video however I like your style.
@@Isaac_The_Arm_Warrior Yeah but I think that $13,000 price is just basically the drone, one set of batteries, and no camera payload... If you want the M300 "fly more" like bundle which most people get (i.e. the drone, the H20T camera, three sets of batteries, and the charger case) that runs closer to $30,000.
Absolutely love your enthusiasm Billy, and you have a super simplistic way of delivering large amounts of information, a great skill..
No regrets getting this beast. If you're leaning on the fence just get it. You should talk about the P1 sensor aswell

Yeah I’ll need to grab one of these for my occasional trip to the park. 😂
Amazing TOY... to be used in very delicate conditions. Thanks for this interesting video.
Billy, amazing video and thanks for sharing it. Best
Great review! We love ours with the P1 and L1

Excellent Tutorial Video Billy! Thank You.
Excellent video sir ...I can tell you really enjoy flying this drone.
I’m surprised they haven’t installed a parachute in the top.

Great content bro! you should get a patreon.
9:42 You mean "so that most importantly you don't hurt someone"? 😂 I mean I believe that's more important than the drone not getting damaged right?
Why would you need something like that. What happened to the inspire 2 anyways? Did you get the legs fixed?
Great report. Will there be a new Inspire one day?
In the two remote setup can one person fly while another controls the camera?
Hi @Billy Kyle. Where do the images taken will be saved? I don't see a Micro SD card slot
The box on the bottom houses a USB input for wireless connnection
"It's incredible!"
Happy Flying

Billy whistle when talking
Is it programable? Like, can I automate a flight using some sort of programming language?
Not through a programming language - but you can set repeatable flights through the Pilot 2 app
Price ??
I want one of these M300's so badly, but I could never afford the $30,000+ pricetag!
Its actually $13000...but still insanely expensive.

FreeFly Alta X is better. Review the ALTA X !!!
A very nice drone. However US government agencies are prohibited from using DJI drones due to being based in China.
