Thanks for the review! Is the main zipper that splits the backpack open heavy duty? It doesn't look very large in the video. That zipper supports a lot of weight and will get a lot of use, so I'm hoping they used a really good zipper. I've had sooooo many zipper failures, which often render the product useless. It's great that PGYTECH offers a lifetime warranty, but I don't want to hassle will mailing a large item back for repairs.
If the back zipper fails all your camera gear will fall to the ground cause the shoulder straps are attached only to the back cover of the bag. The divider for the pouch doesn't fully come off. There's no real option to transform the bag in a fully compartimented camera bag top to bottom and for a pro photographer who has to take many of the times logs of lenses and at least 2 pro bodies that its a downer also. I started to love the bag the first time I saw it but now I realize its not there yet. At last for me.
I agree that the main zipper is a concern. It has to support all the weight of the contents, which puts a lot of strain on that zipper. It doesn't look like a large, heavy duty zipper and it would be a drag to send it back for repair. I have a CineBags backpack of similar design (with a VERY heavy duty zipper). I find accessing items through the backside of the backpack to be inconvenient, it is an anti-theft feature for travelers. It's hard to find a backpack that is "perfect", but this bag appeals to me for hiking with my drone.
Hi Rui. WHile I have yet to try this backpack, and can't comment on its zipper quality, I can say that the MindShiftGear products are made with very strong and reliable YKK zippers, and have not failed me in several years of use. (Although I shoot FF mirrorless, so don't carry large DSLRs and their lenses. That said my Z7 kit can get fairly heavy with several Nikkor S and a 70-300 with FTZ Adapter). Good luck!
Nice video and review! It seems to heave a wealth of features/compartments! One question though...No one seems to talk about the quality of the zippers. Was wondering if they're YKK, like on the MindShiftGear and ThinkTANKPhoto bags? Thank you!
I just received mine and I find that it struggles to carry a folded up tripod well. Those gorilla pods should be fine but my ProMaster is a whole other story.
I'd wager that many viewers of this presentattion are questing for a bag to carry one or two cameras with lenses mounted. PGYTECH themselves call the bag CAMERA Bag. You yourself said something to the effect that the partitions are EASILY CONFIGURABLE. Yet there was no example of even one configuration. There are some of us who are not aware that the model number 25L designates a bag with 25 litre volume. Furthermore, the descriptions failed to differentiate between the 25L and the Liote 22L. Viewers might be led to think that the smaller 22L bag also comes with a separable carrier. For many of us, we just want to take a couple of cameras on our trip; the ability to stuff a large screen TV into it is really of much lesser importance. Please let us have your views of this product as a CAMERA BAG..., not as a steamer trunk.
lmao The 22L wasn't launched when this review was made. The rest is just you whining about nonsense that's either specifically YOUR preference or general information readily available with even the most cursory google search. Typical critic with zero content themselves.
I take it you don't know much about CAMERA bags? It's common sense and extremely obvious the 25L refers to 25 litres because the "L" after a number means LITRES. The video doesn't need to show multiple configurations, he opens the bag and you can clearly see the Velcro dividers that can be shuffled around. HENCE multiple configurations. He doesn't need to differentiate between the PGYtech 25L and the Lite 22L because the video isn't about the Lite... He shouldn't have to hold your hand about this and if theres further confusion, you should be doing your own research looking at the spec sheet of any product before buying. If you cant, well thats a you problem. Not his.
Really helpful review !
The explanation was clear and pleasant to hear.
I got this and I am very happy with this. This bag has so many things its crazy, i didnt know about 1 thing you explained in the video hahah
Seems like every time I use it I find something new!
Why is it, that on every camera bag, the quick access is on the right side so you have to get the camera out with your left hand.
Check out wandrd prvke it’s on the left.
I’m actually torn between this and the lowepro you have. Which do you prefer?
I just ordered one. Best one on the market at the moment .
I need this bag ASAP

Got the same perceptions about the zipper. That's the only thing which stops me from buying one.
Did you finally get one?
This has SBS zippers on it, with really tough pulls attached to the zipper head. They feel solid!
Yeah it was upsetting when my peak design zipper spoilt. I wonder ab this.
Got this for my mavic 2 pro.... Love it!!!
Great review! Just bought one of these.
Also... what watch are you wearing at 7:22?
just received it and can't wait to use it.
how is it so far?

This is too expensive for the quality, especially since it's made in China. It should really only cost $100.
Can you comment on the durability of the Onemo? I'm thinking of getting it, but am concerned with it holding up after a few years.
Lol for $200 it better last at least 5-7 years
Can you fit a gimble like rs2 in it ? Even with a pair of clothes ?

This bag has SBS zippers on it- they're pretty solid!
Bought this bag, can confirm zippers are high quality.
Thanks for the review, almost got me sold on the OneMo. Just one question: Is it big enough to hold a 600mm zoom lens?
Good question. I would love to know that too.
If it's a zoom like 150-600 it's a ges
Yes
Great video. Thank you!!!!
is it lighter than the lowerpo bag?
I just received mine and I find that it struggles to carry a folded up tripod well. Those gorilla pods should be fine but my ProMaster is a whole other story.
i think i saw someone said they had to buy stronger strap to hold their tripod
Would you still recommend this bag?
Yup! Still my go-to bag
Beware of weight ... I believe this bag is 2.5kg or 5.5lbs (empty bag)
thank you for information
no support for hips?!
didnt even realize that wooow. thats a downfall
Muhammad Floyd yeah that sucks for hiking
@@MuhammadFloyd Was about to order it, good catch, will hold off for version 2 with a removable waist strap. It definitely saves the back for hiking.
$82 USD shipping to Canada. Nope.
