What I Eat In A Day ♥ Easy Healthy Vegan Meals | Canada

    Since spending our summer in our home country, Canada, we decided it was time to share another video on the food we love to eat and cook. We hope this video gives you a little insight into our vegan lifestyle and how easy it to create delicious and nutritious meals.
    Enjoy the recipes and we highly recommend you try them out at home as well. Below are the recipes to the meals made in this video. Enjoy!!
    Chia Pudding ♥
    Ingredients:
    2 cups coconut milk
    1/2 cup Chia Seeds
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 cup fresh/frozen Strawberries
    1 Tbsp Cacao Nibs
    Directions:
    1. Blend all ingredients together except the chia seeds.
    2. Mix chia seeds into the blended mixture .
    3. Place the entire mixture into a glass container in a fridge overnight
    or at least 4 hours.
    4. When ready to enjoy, garnish with some fresh fruit and cacao nibs.
    Smoothie Bowl ♥
    Ingredients:
    1.5 cup Frozen Strawberries
    2 Bananas
    1/2 cup Hemp Seeds
    1 tsp Spirulina
    1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
    1 tbsp Raw Almond Butter
    1 cup Ice
    Garnish:
    1/2 cup Granola Mix
    1/2 cup Raisin Nut Mix (cashews/almonds/seeds)
    1 tbsp raw cocoa nibs
    1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
    Note: Mix it up with adding fruit if you crave
    something more sweet.
    Directions:
    1. Blend all ingredients together except garnish.
    2. Place Garnish on top.
    Spinach & Arugula Roasted Almond Salad ♥
    Ingredients:
    2 cup Fresh Spinach
    1 cup Arugula
    1/2 cup Sliced Cucumber
    1/4 cup Roasted Almonds/Pecans
    1/2 Apple (sliced)
    1 tbsp Hemp Hearts
    Dressing:
    2 tbsp Olive Oil
    1/2tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
    1tsp Agave Syrup
    1/4 Lemon Juice(squeezed)
    1/2 tsp Dried Basil
    Directions:
    1. Slice apple and cucumbers
    2. Mix all the ingredients together.
    3. Cover with dressing.
    4. Sprinkle hemp seeds on top
    Roasted Almonds ♥
    Ingredients:
    2 cups Almonds
    3 tbsp Agave Syrup/Honey
    dash Cayenne Pepper
    Directions:
    Liquid Mixture:
    1. Mix ingredients
    2. Microwave for 30 seconds.
    3. Pre-head oven to 400 F.
    4. Place almonds on parchment paper and cover with mixture.
    5. Bake 12-15 min. Checking in from time to time.
    Roasted Quinoa Stuffed Peppers
    Ingredients:
    4 Bell Peppers (any colour)
    1 1/2 cups Quinoa
    1 cup Tomato Sauce
    1/2 cup White Cap Mushrooms (chopped)
    1 Onion (chopped)
    1 Large Carrot (finely chopped)
    1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
    1 tsp Basil
    1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
    1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
    1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
    Directions:
    1. Cut the tops of the peppers, leaving the caps aside.
    2. Scoop the seeds out of the peppers, leaving them hollow.
    3. Simmer quinoa on medium-low heat until cooked.
    4. Stir-fry the vegetables adding the tomato sauce and at the end the quinoa. Mix all ingredients together.
    5. Fill the empty peppers with the mixture, placing the pepper caps on top.
    6. Pre-heat oven to 350F. Placing the peppers into a casserole dish,cover with a lid.
    7. Bake for 50min - 55 min.
    8. Remove the lid and broil with pepper cap on for 5 min before removing the peppers.

    if u put your milk of choice in IceCube trays and make frozen milk cubes and use those in half proportion to the liquid milk your smoothies will turn out to be a lot thicker and creamier
    its like icecream custard :')

    I discovered Chia Seed pudding a few weeks ago - I am obsessed! It's not only delicious, easy and vegan, it gives you an energy boost like no other. I did not try mixing frozen strawberries- can't wait to try that tonight. For those who think its not enough food - trust me - as an Italian who can eat literally a loaf of Italian bread and a big bowl of macaroni - this meal fills you. If you need more - I usually add a tea spoon of organic ground flax seed. Thank you Boho Beautiful for another "beautiful" video. I am so grateful that I found you.

    i'm a vegan and i eat very healthy as well but in my opinion these portions are so small and i don't understand how you can be satisfied with the amount

      I thought this too, then I noticed it is because the recipes are denser in fats than they are in carbohydrates, fats contain more calories per gram.

      I think her point is...the metal will scratch and ruin your teflon pan. You should use a wood spoon!

    you both are so wonderful, thank you for all of your wonderful recipes and yoga videos. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease this last year, and I am wanting to look into other options of helping my health rather than mask it with pain killers. also my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer, so listening and watching your videos gives me hope. thank you.

    I love it. I've trying to follow this vegan life style. I made the chia pudding. I like to call it chia yogurt. It just reminds me me of a delicious yogurt. When I made it again, I used mango and chia.....OMG. it was so amazing. This is my go to now. 😊

    I absolutely love your videos!! Thank you for these sustaining recipes and your love of our planet! If you want a faster dinner, steam the peppers to become soft and then stuff them! You'll only need to broil them for ten minutes then. I'm excited to try your dressing! I might add whole grain mustard instead of agave for a tangier style.

    OMG!!! I roasted walnuts and pecans with raw organic honey and the cayenne pepper and it made my salad amazing!! My salad consisted of spring mix and baby spinach, green apple, cucumbers and avocado 😁 thank you for these awesome meal recipes

    The best way to keep your smoothie bowl thick is to add less liquids ie; almond milk and more frozen fruits. your smoothie bowl will be thick and delicious! Great video, that scenery/environment looks so tranquil. love the vibes

    💚 The Chia pudding recipe is delicious, even though I could not find the cacao nibs, I added some fresh bananas and strawberries, I will find the cacao nibs next time. It was a new beginning for the 14 day summer pilates challenge! I am transitioning to a whoke food plant based diet and I am not use to the Chia seeds but they are growing on me now, I enjoyed the pudding!

    I'm not a vegan but I've been making chia pudding for years the cool thing is you can make so many flavors whatever you like, also to thicken your smoothies use avocados, my fav smoothie is banana avocado, plain yogurt caoco powder, hemp seeds and choc mint leaves (I have an herb garden so i grow this) tastes like a mint choc. milkshake

    love you guys! try less liquid (almond milk/water) in the smoothie bowl. I only use about a third of a cup and it comes out like a yummy creamy ice cream consistency

    steam the peppers in a pot with the lid on in a couple of inches of boiling water to soften the peppers *4-5min* , then stuff and bake for 20 min . By softening the peppers you cut cooking time in more than half + it will keep them moist while baking bcz oven tends to dehydrate

    i have been making these peppers for years!! they are sooo good ! sometimes i cut the peppers in half and top with some bread crumbs and serve some seasoned tomato sauce on the top

    Cooked oil is a health destroyer. Use water, then add the oil when you are done cooking, you'll experience a whole new level of fresh. :) Thanks for the inspirational videos, really great.

    Really liked your chia seed pudding suggestion. At home I had almond milk, golden syrup (next time Xyla sweetner) added chai latte spice mix, topped with saskatoons portioned in glass baby jars. Very lovely!

    I tried the chia pudding. SO GOOD! Kids love it too. I like how its not sweet but it still gives me the satisfaction of a sugar craving. Trying the stuffed peppers tonight !!!

    New Pescatarian and Yogi of two weeks! I’m enjoying it so far and already see an incredible difference in my strength, flexibility and a slimmer waist on the way! I wanted to suggest to everyone to put frozen fruit into the pudding after it sits overnight and it gives it almost an ice cream treat vibe. SO YUMMY!
