    Hey Adam, loving your videos so far! They’re very well made, especially for a channel so new. At some point, could you do a video where you break down in detail what the cost of living is like in various places you’ve stayed? Like how much is a meal? How much does it cost to rent a car for a day? How much is a hotel for a weekend excursion? I just have no idea how the prices might vary in these different places. Seeing how much specific things cost could really give me an idea for how financially viable something like this is. Thanks for reading!

      Yes, I actually have these sort of videos on my to-film list, as I found those types of videos very helpful as well. Thanks for watching!

    I'd like to see where you travelled. Some spots look like Matera and Polignano, but I might be mistaken. Haven't been, but did some research for future trips!

      Matera and Polignano are definitely in there! Some of my favourite places we visited. Especially Matera blew me away. Will certainly consider sharing more - thanks for watching!

    as an Italian, Italy is beautiful but affordable only if you don't work as a local, since most people here earn less than 1500eur. As an engineer I earned 1450 net (junior), that's why I moved to Denmark. It's a shame, I'd really like to go back but it's not even about earning more, it's about earning enough to live comfortably

    As I have just commented on two of your videos I won’t repeat myself.
    Food wise, I don’t know what the fuss is about… it’s overly salted and this is why I have totally stopped eating at their restaurants.
    I am French so I have a different conception of what good food should feel like. If they were not putting so much salt, as they do, in all their dishes, I could probably eat it and feel that it tastes as good as it looks, and why not, as good as food in France does ;)

    Did Airbnb give you a good rate for staying for a month?

    • @thenordicadam
      @thenordicadam  6 місяців тому

      It depends on the place you rent - the owner sets the rate. But it is quite usual that the owner will set, say a 25% (or even more), discount. I usually look for places with good long term discounts!

    • @user-di8hl7vh6z

      Thanks for the quick response. Now I know I do have some negotiation room if I stay in the same flat for a longer duration.

    • @user-di8hl7vh6z
      @user-di8hl7vh6z 6 місяців тому

      By the way, did the Airbnb description mention about long term discount? Or you just tell them to give you a good price for longer term stay.

    • @thenordicadam
      @thenordicadam  6 місяців тому

      @@user-di8hl7vh6z I think now Airbnb has an option to sort by 'good for long stay' or something. But if the owner has a discount, it will just be automatically applied and you should be able to see it in the pricing overview 'monthly discount' I think.
      - It's also possible to send a message to the owner and ask for a special rate. I'd say this makes sense if you want to stay for more than a month.
