First time in Singapore (Shocked how affordable it can be!)
I noticed something similar amongst people from Ukraine and Russia who just don't care about any copyright whatsoever. They steal imagery and videos and sell it as their own. Happened to me several times before.
There is a reason I live away from Copenhagen. Prices in Copenhagen are just insane. You can rent like 100-125 m2 for 4000DKK in Jutland outside the big cities.
Most useful and insightful! Thank you!
Amazing and most insightful video, thank you! wish it was more longer :)
Hey Adam, thank you for making this video. I immediately liked and subscribed. This has been a major problem for a long time and I'm glad you covered it. I am a designer and I have had ideas stolen and one of the things people don't realize is that sites like UA-cam almost promote this in the way that they insist only the victim can report it. I have seen the same approach across many platforms: UA-cam, Etsy, Thumbtack. These all promote different goods or services but what they have in common is that thieves are essentially encouraged and promoted because the platforms all want more subscribers or participators. I was writing an article about this and somebody recommended your video. In this particular case, I have noticed that Anna is targeting Westerners like myself who speak English as a primary language. But I can tell after listening to a couple of her videos that her own English is actually not very good therefore the paradox of why she actually goes to these countries and puts out all that effort and then plagiarizes all of the written and spoken content. There's also an element of "sex sells" as we call it and I believe many countries call it. I have seen across multiple platforms good looking young women being able to get away with this at a far greater rate and people being more willing to ignore the plagiarism. And of course the element you pointed out of saying something controversial to get attention. People who have incorporated all these less honorable elements in order to get ahead have completely shaped our world. Recent US elections are are showing the result of this.
If you think refugees are scared after watching this video then you've failed :)
Some comments talking about it only being great if you don’t work there on Italian wages. Thing is, nobody works here lol, also go south, much better than north.
im from switzerland, but every-time i visit copenhagen 🇩🇰 its pocket friendly to me, and i find it not expensive, i love copenhagen,, I underestimate the weather in copenhagen And its crazy colder, the system is way better compared to other EU countries, The downside is the train in copenhagen is almost late all the time,, and need to maintained,
THANKS!!
Great video, extra tip, with two of you similar price taking two mototcycle grab/gojek to taking taxi and a lot quicker often. Can book one bike and he will be able to find you second rider in most locations for same price. Essential advice if going to/through Canggu which has unbelievable bad traffic. Also, beware Indonesian school holidays as they bring cars over and create extra traffic hell.
And why not be frank: Those scammers and pick pockets mentioned is comming from eastern europe which also is the ones sitting outside supermarkeds pretending to sell magazines, but actually is begging.
Can anyone buy an apartment in copenhagen or do you have to have pr or citizenship? Thank you!
Hi Adam. First of all, thank you for the detailed videos about Copenhagen. I watched your previous video about the attractions as well and took some notes about the places to visit. I will visit Copenhagen in February and my flight back home will be early in the morning. I wonder if it is really safe to take metro at 3-4am at night to the airport. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks in advance.
It is perfectly safe to take the metro at night. Of course, always be mindful in general but I wouldn't think twice about doing it. Thanks a lot for watching - I hope you have an awesome trip.
94% of everything you earn is sucked up in tariffs and tax. For that you get almost nothing in return, and the free services that we do get, is below standard and of such poor quality, that you better think again before visiting a hospital, as you might end up dead.
Hi! could you tell me the name of the hotel capsule, please? Thank you!
You very good night
This is a really interesting comment. It resonates because I’m incredibly consumptive. I feel a need to travel endlessly and to consume films, books, media. I feel a need to endlessly ‘experience’ and digest everything but at its core, this modus operandi is just hollow. I’ve always sensed it. That’s not to say I have some solution. I haven’t found a way to find contentment without this consumption but your comment is a useful counterpoint to my natural instinct to just keep consuming life. Would I be satisfied with the depth of just seeing my kid enjoy a cardboard box? I’m not sure. These are the existential questions we have to contend with but your comment gives pause for thought, which is much appreciated.
So what does 27000DKK get you in Denmark a month? like rent, food, utilities?
Nice to see someone actually share the numbers showcasing how much someone, who actually makes good quality videos can earn with travel vlogging. Sure, some make more, but I am guessing the majority makes less. I am guessing after paying taxes in Denmark you get to keep around 1000 USD for 9 months of work, which would be roughly earning 4 USD a day (without including the cost of equipment, airplane tickets, Airbnb, food etc.)? My question would be: "How much savings do you need to become a full-time travel vlogger earning 49 cents an hour?" Honestly, wouldn`t it just be so much better to simply travel and enjoy discovering new places, instead of doing this as a job, that pays 4 times less per hour than a minimum wage job in Indonesia for example?
What is your camera / mic set up?
honestly the cost of living, food, and entertainment sounds very similar to where I live in Chicago.
I liked this video, but the footage looked like stock footage which seemed a shame if you were there 7 months. But nice commentary
This video, along with others we've seen, has been very helpful for our current trip. We're actually here for a few more days and still have much to explore! Thank you for the video and the tips.
That's all I could hope for! Thanks for watching and enjoy the rest of your trip.
I totally disagree that nature in Denmark is boring. I wonder if Nordic Adam is a real city person who does not know his country outside of Copenhagen. Within our rather small country, there is great variation. The finest beaches, forests and hills. 400 islands, and many of them can be visited. Cliffs, peninsulas and lakes. In many places there are marked paths and with an app you can easily find your way.
The finest beaches? Cliffs? What's the highest altitude in Denmark. It's all flat!
Yeah, it is very boring. You just need to travel outside of Denmark once in your life to realise that.
@@carolinafd It sounds like your disparaging a country that you may not belong to? As a general rule I don't denigrate a State that isn't mine. In fact I was hoping you were Danish so I could explore the paradigm a little further.
I love that simple concrete interior of the first place
Second place. A conversation pit is always a win
Beautiful. Thank you
Chicago is like this with 9 months of grey but in summer EVERYONE enjoys the outdoors
I hate Bali. These people cannot stop pestering me. I walk out my hotel and its hundreds of people trying to grab my attention HEY HEY BRO BRO HEY U WANT BOOMBOOM. This place is a overrated yuppy shit hole
The prices/cost of living seem pretty identical to Ireland, yet we lack a lot of the infrastructure and public services you have there. Not to mention the worse weather here 😅 I love our little Emerald Isle, but Copenhagen is great. I'd love to explore more of Denmark, as we go everybody year, but I'm curious if I'd be okay with mostly english (and a bit of Norwegian) to get around outside the city
You are so right. It’s not cheap in Copenhagen. However, I got a great deal with an Airbnb 40 minutes outside the city by train. This is my everyday commute to work in the United States. I didn’t mind, and it was well worth it.❤
I'd just like to note that if you ask any European, they will say their surroundings are kinda boring, because they're used to it they've grown up with it. We're all the same in a balance of pros and cons in our day-to-day, but I think it's kind of rich to point negatively towards some of the things that makes life so easy for Danes. As for the 'everyone is the same' that's definitely a Capital (i.e. Copenhagen) thing in my opinion. Pesky half-swedes.
Super helpfull I can't wait to try the tips im December
Great Video, nice insights! Thanks for sharing your Experience!❤
What's really interesting is what you get paid after tax. It is also very possible that Denmark should have a good school and health system, presumably. If you have children with diagnoses or other small challenges with such children, the system is just as rotten as the politicians' narrative that they go into politics to make a difference. If you get sick in Denmark, have health insurance as the hospital system is just as much a joke as the school system. So, in theory, Denmark was a nice country, but if you first need the government's help - whether it is one or the other - then the system does everything to escape from the responsibility they have. Denmark is a joke
Thank you so much. We are heading to Copenhagen in early December. I am so so excited and will watch more of your videos 🗺️Regards from California!
love your delivery and information! thank you!)
I took your recommendation and went to the Frederiksberg Park and Garden. It was phenomenal in the fall colors with very few tourists. Thank you so much for the great tip!
Fantastic to hear, and great time to go! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for sharing :)
Thx so much ..😊
(A library in DENMARK) Is it possible to acquire knowledge of economics, international politics and geography entirely in English in a library in DENMARK, or does this knowledge require knowledge of danish?
Absolutely. There are plenty of books, on these topics as well, in English. I did my all my university studies in English, so it is quite common.
What about chefs in restaurants
Not a bad video.
amazing guide, thank you
TLDR: NO
I’m currently visiting this beautiful city. Thanks for all the tips !!
pay 25k just to see a sea/rock formation. wth... i see that all the time driving by on australia west coast. just sit and gatekeep nature wonders. they should use the tourism dollar to upskill and come up with another industry instead.
How can your lady never smile, being in such a beautiful place with her handsome lover on a perfect day to enjoy a private long tail boat tour? I don't understand. Is it a cultural thing? Norwegian?
Don't be that person.
I loved seeing the dusky leaf monkeys in your video about Tonsai beach! We'll be there in one month! We have our air tix for Krabi and a rez for a bungalow at Ao Nang. Thank you for the good suggestions!
Canggu- avoid at all costs Instagramers, rip off prices for food and shopping, traffic chaos, even walking can be hazardous, pick pockets, only one road in and out to the main road. Canggu was better in the 90’s and early 2000s.
No jobs in Denmark 😢
You are not from denmark … Hussein? You should go to muslim countries
We're moving to Sicily, Italy in a few months, and we will be going where my husband was born and raised. Already roots there so to speak. Nomadic life is not for us. We love to travel but need a home base for stability. We will miss our adult kids and grandkids in the U.S., but we've already put travel back to visit in the budget. Not sure if this retirement in Italy will be forever or not, but we're open. Thanks for being transparent ~ it's appreciated. 😍 Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
