“I thought Fortnite wrote this song” 💀. Even though Kirk uses pentatonic scales a bunch, he adds such a good amount of feel and melody. His shreds solos are so iconic and great. I really thank Kirk for getting me into guitar. Fade to black is one of the best solos of all time imo, so beautifully written and so iconic. Disposable Heroes is also very gooood and soooo underrated, definitely a top song on MOP!. Thanks for including leper messiah at the end because it’s my fav mop song. Shred on bro! 🎸🤘
Fade to Blacks final solo makes me so emotional man It feels like someone that’s worked hard to overcome their depression, letting out one last emotional wail and the fade to black is one of hope where their story continues after overcoming whatever demon was holding them down and choosing to live Like, everyone was on fire there. Lars murdering the double pedals gives it urgency and elevates the desperation of the solo
All some of Kirk’s best solos hands down, I’m surprised that the solos from Puppets, Seek and Destroy or Trapped Under Ice weren’t on here but all great picks regardless (I also like the sneaky inclusion of One, which is just as much fun to play as well)
I feel like solos will always be my biggest problem 😔 lol Edit: I can play the intro solo of fade to black without rocksmith pretty decently. Sorry if if that sounds like I'm bragging.

Ironically I like the Guitar Hero version better because well it doesn’t fade… But it has the best ending possible for the solo and the song.
We need a best harmonies now from metallica
I really enjoy Kirk's solo on The Day That Never Comes
That entire song is so good.
@@jonathanfrye9647 oh yeah. One of my personal favourite Metallica songs. The whole album is fantastic
will probably make another one for metallica solos in the future, this one we focused on KEA, RTL and MOP otherwise there is too much to choose from
Absolutely Epic 🔥

I hope there's a way to get Rocksmith 2014 again, i got it like 2 months before it was pulled off stores
But can you play Smoke on the Water
I feel like solos will always be my biggest problem 😔 lol
