This frickin video was awesome, im a local in the Hopkins/Eastover area, y’all should check out “Sparkleberry swamp” for some good shellcracker and crappie!
@@Obs.lorenzo I Know a little about that area i think. We actually done a video together there a couple weeks ago that he videoed. I have a few also on my channel but were gonna hit the swamp up again together im sure. Thanks
@@gatorsoutdooradventures yup I noticed immediately when I saw the land around yall and some markings I made on the trees with paint in the last video, I was hoping y’all would find my little honey spot out there honestly 😂
yes Im from portsmouth va and I have never been fishing on a boat ever but I love you, your brother and your dad fishing ,Im disabled and have never traveled but I would love to fish with you all
Just got back home yesterday afternoon after a week in Charleston, SC seeing fam and doing some fishing! Didn't catch much, but had a GREAT time seeing my old spots I haven't been to in coming up on a couple decades. Didn't get a chance to visit Beaufort like I wanted, but next year I wanna spend most of the week doin some camping down there. Tight lines, brother!!
That "Northern Pike" was actually a chain pickerel. They are the small cousins of Northern pike and they are usually around that size. They are EXTREMELLY DELICIOUS. Always keep them. I've never tasted a better fish.
He wasn't lying. The bowfin really are good to eat. The meat is really soft compared to other fish, so it's a little weird when you're cleaning it, but it's incredibly mild.
Another amazing video and yes I will go get myself some of that Buffalo wild wings salt and vinegar because I love salt vinegar and I have not tried the Buffalo wild wings on there yet so I bet it's so great on everything thank you for this video and we can't wait to see more from you.
Bowfin is good. Chupick is what the Cajuns callem. You gotta clean the fish live and cook it asap or it turns to mush. If it does get mushy they make the best fish cakes.
That is so funny cutting fish booty holes out and eating the tail LOL just kidding I never cut the booty holes out but I've never done that that's different to me but I always eat the tails and I guess the booty hole too whole and taking that backbone off that makes a lot of sense but I've never done that.
Yes Micha, for the longest time we have all been fooled! The catch and release method isn't as cracked up to be as what they used to say. I've been hearing a lot, especially with professionals that deal with The biological facts that supposedly catch and release messes things up. You know how they used to say about hunting deer. Hunters probably help the population overall. The same thing kind of goes with fishing in general. Not just bass, but just because for the last number of years bass fishing has been dialed down as far as catching and eating is concerned. Catch and release actually makes for not so good conditions overall. It limits the size of fish for one thing. Other things suggest that it's just not good for overall growth of the ecosystem in general. That might sound super general. To people reading this, you'll just have to Google it. They will tell you the answer.
That’s was a great trip for sure. Now I’m craving some fried fish after watching
We gotta go gigging flounder soon!
