Can I actually fix my kitchen air fryer?

- UPDATE - 2023, May 2:
My air fryer stopped working again 2 days ago, exactly 3 months after the fix in this video. I speed-ran to the fuse and got it replaced, including the tricky nut, in about 90 minutes. Only then did I do proper testing and realize that the fuse wasn't the problem. I decided to try replacing the switch next, which did the trick. $12.99 bought me a box of 6 switches on Amazon.com.

I've watched a lot of DIY repair videos over the last decade as I try to fix home appliances or broken landscaping tools. The last Air Fryer video I watched didn't quite go far enough so I thought I would dig deeper. It will become obvious as I go that I don't really know what I'm doing.

Great video and step by step instructions. It was helpful
Had to scroll way down to find your fix. What a relief!!! Removed heating element then nut at fan(reversed threading) to separate housing to access thermal fuse...yeet!!! No continuity found so ordered replacement fuse pack. Thanks for sharing your vid👊
You got the nut removed, better than I did!
I give you credit for giving it a go. I'd be afraid of causing a fire because I didn't fix it correctly, and just spend $100 on a new one. Hopefully this works! (I'm 4 minutes in!)
Did you finish? How did I do?
If you bought it from Costco why didn't you just return it to Costco?
You know, I didn't keep the receipt but in hindsight maybe that wouldn't matter? I wasn't sure about their return policy and honestly I probably just didn't think of it. Or maybe I just secretly wanted to try to fix something.
