Homie said for my daughter’s birthday, he tells them not to brings toys but scan this QR code that goes to supporting her 529 Plan 😂. That boy moving different!
That’s what we do. We have two kids, they are spoiled at Christmas by friends of the family, grand-parents, uncles, etc. we don’t need more toys and clothes for birthdays, the price people planned to put in gift for birthday, we asked to put it on the children’s saving accounts.
I love how this isn’t really an interview. It’s more of a conversation between two people with a lot of respect for each other and haven’t caught up in a while.
The best thing I enjoyed about this episode was hearing George say a wealth hack is being in a romantic relationship with someone who shares the same principles about money. One of the ultimate signs of wisdom a person can demonstrate in their lifetime is the ability to choose the right partner. Secondly, I badly want financial freedom because I am desperate for a quantum leap towards peace.
I admire your dedication to educating your audience. We all aim for financial stability and a better life. Achieving this is possible through wise investments, being debt free, frugal living, and careful budgeting. I'm grateful that I learned the importance of working hard for financial freedom at a young age.
My advice to new investors: Buy and hold stocks in good companies. Ignore forecasts and market opinions-they're often just clickbaiting but not helpful. In the last 30 days, my ROTH IRA gained $70,000. You might also consider getting a financial advisor with your capital.
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations since this is an online forum and everyone situation is unique, but I've worked with “Becky Lou Gordon” for years and highly recommend her. Look her up to see if she meets your criteria.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
I already listened to the audio book, but I'd love a signed copy! The only debt my wife and I have is the condo and her car. We should be debt free in 3 years. Personally, I want to be a millionaire so all my peers can see it's possible without doing sports or hitting the lottery. After 10 years of teaching, I decided to become a financial planner and inspire other people to pay off debt, save, and invest.
I want financial freedom because I want to change my family tree. I am a single mom and my daughter is watching. I am on Baby Steps 4, 5 and 6. I want her to know that no matter the circumstance, struggling is a choice. A choice I did not want for us!!!
Y’all have really inspired me and helped me hold myself accountable. I started off with $97,000 in student loan debt and now I’m sitting at $50,000. I’m determined to be debt free. My goal is to have it completely payed off by the time I’m 32. I’m looking forward to the day I make my last payment ☺️❤️
My husband and I of 22 yrs are still on our debt free journey. A big chunk of our debt includes financed vehicles that we pay for our daughter who graduated December 2023 from UT Knoxville, and our 21 year old son who bought his first investment property. We are on Baby Step 2 which is a struggle, but we know need to get more focused with a stronger game plan. Thank you George for reminding me that we need to just keep things simple, and thanks Anthony for always pouring into and encouraging the Community that debt freedom is possible and necessary.
This is going to be a collaboration worth devoting our undivided attention towards! Two or more VERY respected minds ALWAYS deliver substance for life advancing effects!
I enjoyed the entire show. This was a great and much needed conversation. One of the most impactful aspect of the conversation for me was seeing and listening to someone who is in the same age group as myself, an immigrant as I have also moved from my country of birth and is now living in another country, achieve financial freedom and wealth. This made me realise that this is indeed possible for me as well. This conversation motivated me to keep working towards my goals of achieving financial freedom and creating wealth/generational wealth and that with God this is possible. I also want to achieve financial freedom so I can be among those in my bloodline who breaks the cycle of poverty from off my lineage and create a legacy. I want to make a difference in my family and this generation. I want to be the example that will motivate and inspire others to aim for financial freedom and to show that it is possible. Thank you for another great show!
Amazing segment to become debt free. I quit my boss 14 months ago after discrimination and loss of both parents in 23 days. I am navigating this entrepreneurial space as a Health Coach while supporting my daughter at Stanford University. I need the book to close the gaps to achieving financial freedom.
This show was a reminder of how far I’ve come! I’ve been debt free for two years now because of Dave Ramsey and also watching The Table. Now, on my UA-cam channel I’m trying to teach the same and I promote budget binders because I am so passionate about my people growing financially! I have always felt like there was a financial generational curse on my bloodline but really it was a lack of education and reaching out to mentors. Anyone can become financially free no matter their situation, but it takes that one person to take the initiative and work hard! Thank you Anthony for all that you do! 🙏🏽
Been trying to become debt free because neither one of my parents knew about finances and grew up a very rough life, and honestly I’m tired of being poor and poor mindset. I’ve been following you both plus Dave Ramsay for years. Would love the book to continue my financial educational journey. ❤
Love how George spoke about purchasing his first home paid it off and then upgraded to a single family. I am currently in my first townhome. I would love to know how I can do the same as George. Just purchased the book on Audible!
Anthony, you’re so excited, that you keep asking George questions, but not allowing him to answer half of them. You’re having fun with an old friend. I’m here for it!!❤😂
I normally will not spend an hour watching anything...but George AND Anthony. A must see. It didn't even feel like an hour. Now, I, too, want the audiobook and book!!😂
George and Rachel are my favs on Ramsey Solutions apart from the man himself. Massive fan of how down to Earth George is and love his humour. Wishing him all the best with his future plans.
I love your show because it makes complex financial concepts so easy to understand and apply. I am determined to break the cycle of financial struggle that has plagued my life. As a parent of three, working over 40 hours a week just to make ends meet, I feel the weight of this burden every day. I desperately need to change my mindset and take control of my financial future, not just for myself but for my children and my entire family. Winning this book would be the first step towards transforming our lives and building a legacy of prosperity for generations to come.
It’s definitely possible, but it takes a mix of smart investments, risk management, and probably some luck too. I’ve seen people do it by getting into the right markets at the right time.
Yeah, timing is everything. Real estate, for example, can be a goldmine if you know where to buy and when to sell. But it’s not for the faint of heart. You really have to know what you’re doing or have someone guide you.
I’ve seen people leverage real estate, private equity, and even high-growth stocks to rapidly increase their net worth. But those strategies come with risks. You could lose just as quickly as you gain if you’re not careful.
He’s really helped us identify those high-potential investments without taking on unnecessary risks. It’s not just about growing your wealth; it’s about doing it sustainably.
I need at least $2m today to be considered 'wealthy' 20 years ago, the definition of wealth was nowhere near $2m, and in 20 years time, this amount may not be enough, however I do agree that one has to start somewhere, hence I now look to the stock market to fuel my goal.
Agreed, I've always delegated my excesses to an advisor, since suffering major portfolio loss early 2020, amid covid outbreak. I'm now semi-retired and only work 7.5 hours a week, with barely 25% short of my $1m retirement goal after subsequent investments to date.

George my parents were in your same position when they were your age. We lived comfortable lives and not once did I felt we had wealth. I was so unaware of it until I entered college and a professor explained something regarding finances and I asked my mom about it. She then explained and told me everything. Just don’t talk about it. 👍🏻
Thank you for this episode! It was exactly what I needed to stay motivated - this and the “Pay off Debt in 12 Months” episode from a few days ago. Thank you! 😄

Great show! Love George. I finished reading Breaking Free From Broke last month. It is a great read, and a more relatable millennial version of Dave’s Total Money Makeover. I plan on giving my book to my son, and I hope that he enjoys it as much as I did!
Invest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target, I recommend a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run.
Effective personal finance management is more important than the amount of money saved, regardless of whether income is earned through job or investment. Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income.
I completely agree; I am in my mid 40s, approaching retirement, and have approximately over 2million dollars in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, the Fin-advisor can only be neglected, not rejected. Just do your due diligence to identify a fiduciary one.
Finding financial advisors like *Marisa Breton Dollard* who can assist you on things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, going over tax benefits, ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Thank you for this tip , I must say Marisa, appears to be quite knowledgeable. After coming across her webpage, I thoroughly went through her resume, and I must say, it was quite impressive. I reached out to her, and I have booked a session with her.
I started my youtube channel with the intention of getting it monetized so I can use the money to give back to my community. Since I've started my channel I've found Dave Ramsey and all his personalities. I started my youtube channel with the intention of getting it monetized so I can use the money to give back to my community. Since I've started my channel I've found Dave Ramsey and all his personalities. I'm glad I did so when I do start making money on youtube I'll know how to properly save and invest so I WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE BACK to my community the way I want to. I haven't even been through FPU yet. But I will it's in my plan! Right now I'm still in Baby Step 1 about to start 2 hopefully in the next week or so.

I love watching both of your channels! ❤
Inspirational! Thank you both
