This is why I stopped asking God to bless me with Money when I have a poverty mindset. I have a very good job and terrible habits that I need to stop repeating and get serious about breaking this cycle. The lord already broke it in the spirit but am I doing what I need to do here on earth? How can God bless me with more when I cannot even budget and steward my job that he has given me?

Anthony, I don't believe you were wrong for saying that, however, it can stir some people up especially those who are very religious. See, we are called to pray, however there are some things that are just common. The bible says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” We lack to realize that we must take responsibility for what we are asking. Why do we pray for a house but we can't even maintain an apartment? Why do we pray for more money but we can't even save $100? So I agree we must pray about everything but by the same token I agree with you that some things just take knowledge and wisdom and GOOD STEWARDSHIP.

But all the things that you mentioned you get from prayer- and being in the Word but applying practical spiritual application of the Word to the situation.
@@rfalkinsthey are saying the same thing but in a different way- praying God to pay your mortgage- and you have the resources-you are acknowledging God in your words and actions by managing what he is given you. I understand both mindsets- I have been in both places:

Wow, this is sooo good. Although I have been feeling this for a while, I just made the decision a few days ago in regards to what pastor Travis just said.
I have a fully paid for small fixer upper house in a safe, neighborhood, but not aesthetically pleasing. I have been praying for a bigger house in a more desirable neighborhood, I keep hearing that voice inside of me that keeps saying, why do you want a bigger house and what have you done with what you have?
Not only that, but I keep praying for more money meanwhile I have an attic fill with stuff I have not use.
Wow, wow, wow this show today is confirmation about what Gods spirit has been telling me.

So glad that Travis dropped that curve ball regarding God shining a light on people at the end! If Jesus waited until we checked all the boxes, He'd still be walking around on this Earth, over 2000 years old!!! He made a way, by becoming The Way, and we are called to attempt to do likewise.
Right in time word. I have felt this in my heart for years now but never really spoken it out loud to anyone. I was raised extremely old school Apostolic. I am a PK. When, I started seeking God and asking him for the truth. Different things (not all) but some, kept coming to me. Completely different then my upbringing. I felt like it was betraying the church to feel like this revelation is right. Now, hearing it. It's confirmation. Thank You! I have started make moves in my life but I put God in those moves as I move forward. I see his hand moving!

Only acouple min in but this convo is so much needed! I’d just say it’s not that we need to pray less and plan more but we need to be planning as we pray. The Bible even says “Faith without works is dead”. God is a God of ORDER. Prepare as you pray🙏🏽

Prayerlessness is powerlessness. Praying is communing with Him. Being a good steward of what He blessed you with is a must which I would like to believe Anthony and Travis are saying here with plan and budget Ex: parables of the the bag of gold Matt 25:14. The man who did nothing with what he was given was called a worthless servant and thrown out.
We must activate Faith by taking action, strategy/plan and saving. Prov 6:6-11
[6] Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! [7] It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, [8] yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. [9] How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? [10] A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest- [11] and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.

I'm convicted and convinced on what I NEED to be doing to manage better to get to the more that God has for me...Overqualify for my present and get pulled into my future. Wow I’m only a few minutes in and I’m stuck. Travis said “ out of all of those people, there were reps for it.” Meaning, they had already been doing what they were assigned to do, majorly familiar with what to do PRIOR to being called/ asked by God. 😮
Pray less plan more!! Facts!! I just learned that about myself because I lack consistency,discipline and time management. The Lord gives me strategies but I don’t sit down long enough to right down the plan and follow it!!!
1. Because i am a good steward of my present the future pulls me in. 2. My current management is a magnet for the future!!
3. My management is my marketing. The way i steward my present, forces me to continually be evicted from this place.

I must need this wisdom. Left my job last year and went into prayer closet. PAINFUL. God said a number of things. Yesterday I left socials to get more disciplined in the word as far as teaching or applying rather than relying only on the gift that the Lord has given me which is hearing/wisdom/operating in the prophetic. It's easy to hear, but how to be a better steward and messenger is something i believe im going to need in this next level.

When Travis was talking about a list and wanting someone with money and so forth, I believe that depends where you are in life. As a single 51 year old, we can build something, but he has to be ready-made.

i believe alot of people take the scripture, " pray without ceasing" for it to mean pray alot. when it is basically saying jus pray daily. i learned the p radical son did not pray his way out, he came to himself and put his ways away. so it planning to do better too

Hey Anthony, I hear you on not asking God to pay your bills every month, however on the flip side of that what if what if your expenditure is such that it makes it difficult to pay your tithes each month what happens then?
Not Anthony but, I think the Lord cares more about your heart than the percentage of your tithe. He knows your struggle and he will honor whatever you freely give with joy back to Him
@@MelissaElene Thanks for the clarification I never thought about it from that perspective. I am so bent on being on time with God because for a long time I was not. Recently, I have not been due to illness and miss calculation of the amount of tithes I assessed as being over paid.
@@angelamartin2190 in the video , they talk about prioritizing the Lord in tithe as a part of the necessary bills you pay. Whatever amount you give, give it with Joy in your heart and He will honor you
