The full build took me, give or take, around 10 hours. It wasn’t done in one sitting though. It was spread across a couple of days. I just checked the footage to confirm, and the ship alone took 5 of those hours! That’s wild! I didn’t even realize until you asked. Also, good to know about the camera swings! I do sometimes swing the camera, but I try my best not to! I'll make sure to be extra mindful of this in the future.❤
I don't think you can see the buttons 'click' on the bar while doing this timelapse technique. On the long play videos I do leave in the UI so you can see what I am clicking on. I decided on making this a timelapse, because if it were a long play it would have been 10 hours!
The level of patience you must have to build that ship. I love it, well done. Honestly that whole castle is absolutely beautiful. I wish there was more of it to explore. Did you know you can clip through the walls by holding down the CTRL button? And that by releasing it while you're halfway through a wall puts you directly on top of whatever object you're on? It should give you more to work with, including some interior shots if you plan for it. The interiors are hollow as you might imagine but at least you can look out through the windows.
Yes! I know about ctrl, however I have yet to build an interior I am happy with sharing. I started some, but I want a cute exterior to go with the interior and its honestly kinda taking me forever! Some 'through the window' camera shots sound pretty amazing, I will consider it for the next build!
Yes! I’d love some more options. A more complex stair tool would save us so much time! Pavement in the form of a path tool would be amazing, maybe with brick or cobblestone options to add some texture. Honestly, anything they add will be a treat, I'm not picky!!
If you are referring to the way I've manipulated the fence - I put a path under the fence, and you get an archway. Check out my How to Build a Fountain video for the trick. But if you mean how to separate the fence into multiple sections, if you hover the fence while its selected, you can use a scissor tool and snip to cut up the fence into sections.
Two circular buildings perfectly stacked. Place one, raise it where you want it to float, grab a second circle, place it directly on the first, give it a little size adjustment, and the supports disappear. If you check out my "how to build floating structures" video at about 1:23 I show the trick, then proceed to give a text explanation for about 5 mins, the rest is building a hot air balloon. This was my first how to video, I wasted some time, and should have spoken over it, but the technique is there! I'm working on a larger overall 'tips and tricks' video, I will add this technique to the video with a better explanation.

I have to ask, is your profession something related? I mean, are you an architect or something, or do you have experience with professional softwares etc.? If you are a total amateur and have done all this with your own creativity without looking at any examples, I will feel very sorry for my own situation in the game haha.
I’m not an architect or trained in 3D design, I mean, unless you count taking a pottery class as 3D design training! My background is in graphic design, which is mostly 2D. For the boat, I did use pictures of real boats as a reference to make sure it looked accurate to a real ship. Tiny Glade is just a creative outlet for me, and I love experimenting with it!
And here I was excited because I made a bird nest pop up

I’m not an architect or trained in 3D design, I mean, unless you count taking a pottery class as 3D design training! My background is in graphic design, which is mostly 2D. For the boat, I did use pictures of real boats as a reference to make sure it looked accurate to a real ship. Tiny Glade is just a creative outlet for me, and I love experimenting with it!
