@TheWadge Just checked some figures and it appears that the att V TUFC was 3010 with 461 Torquay fans. Meanwhile against us the att was 5288 (highest home league att of the season) with 1467 (official) away fans. Please try to be honest.
@TheWadge 148 Cheltenham fans made the trip to Gillingham for the first game of the season! When we played Gills it was their biggest home league att of the year so far. Thought you might like to know. Who do you follow?
Division 4 is certainly the place for the SW teams! 2 years time the red lot from Bristol will be in here aswell. Don't forget Cheltenham, they are having a wobble.
@simicat79 I'm a Gillingham fan so I'm not fantastic on geography on that part of the world! My Torquay comment was said as they took 450 up there yet the stand behind the goal looked pretty packed, as it does for every game of the season. "you are a div 4 team at best punching above your weight... don't suppose you will ever sell out your allocation to warrant going in the home end?" - Those were the bits that got me. Many teams get 3-4k in this league, Port Vale! CTFC are newcomers relatively
@benny1000ful Fair enough, the ground wasn't the best for acoustics. You have to take into account that we have been awful this season and if it weren't for the new manager effect we would have expected a pasting! From where I was sat the Gas sounded alright especially when we took control for obvious reasons. The home fans were poor, why was that? I mean, you are doing so well.
Well I was stood behind the goal in the terracing at the opposite end and we were making noise thats maybe why I couldnt hear you and thats why we hate being there as we dont get heard the rest of our crowd is crap and to be fair you did do a job on us on saturday
@TheWadge No arrogance from me just facts. TUFC v CTFC is a top of table game also local (ish). Gills is a nightmare to get to from Bristol so 250 is pretty good for div 4. Our ground is awful! We are "massive" as you put it compared to CTFC and will always have fans in the home ends of teams like YTFC, CTFC, TUFC. After the season we have had I am happy to be 16th at the moment ta. It wasn't meant to sound arrogant, Rovers fans haven't got much to be big headed about in all fairness.
You said "Shittest support going" which we obviously are not. You brought that many to ours because it's a day out for you! If I lived in Plymouth I would get out of there at every oppurtunity aswell! Of the teams you mentioned, fair play to you for taking large numbers but those fixtures hardly get the pulse racing do they?! We played you Tuesday, amongst 8 games in a month. Boxing day we would have brought 1000 aswell. For where Plymouth is geographically you boys travel well, fair play.
@BRFCnorthseaGAS They took 5000 to spurs. Thats nothing. We OUTNUMBERED Fulham in a much smaller stadium. We took 7000+ to craven cottage, they took 5000 to WHL.
@benny1000ful. Thats not true mate is it? Rovers were making noise all game, home fans were pathetic in terms of vocal support. Please don't try and large it with the top of the league stuff, you are a div 4 team at best punching above your weight. On what I seen yesterday you will be lucky to make the play offs. Hats off to the CTFC fans though, made me feel very welcome in the home area, don't suppose you will ever sell out your allocation to warrant going in the home end? Great day out. xx
@TheWadge I was replying to benny1000. When he comes out with things like "You only sang when you scored and come back when you are top of the league" he can expect some stick back. For a team doing so well for their stature the CT fans were absolutely awful, in fairness though our home support is poor compared to the away mob. Sold out 1000 tkts for TU on March 10th already. Guess what is going to happen down there? No prob though, our fans are well behaved on the whole, unlike BS3.
@simicat79 Bit arrogant there. It's a tiny stand, Torquay packed it out last week. I hate fans who pull out the "our fans were in the home end, we're so massive" line. Well done on selling 1,000 tickets for your local derby, and 40,000 to Wembley. But don't pull out the arrogance when you take 250 to Gillingham and half fill your shocking excuse of a ground for home games. But then again, you're 16th and they're around to top, so you haven't really got anything else going!
Statistically incorrect there my 6 fingered friend. Perhaps you are confusing us with Macclesfield? In fact I think our travelling numbers are up there with the very respectable Green Army?
@simicat79 So when I said you only took 260 to us I wasn't saying it was bad as it's good by League 2 standards, being a STH here I know how unattractive it is! But showing the arrogance I quoted in my last message made you sound like you were above your station. I know Gas vs CTFC is local but how comes there's bitterness? When we go to D&R or Barnet we don't criticise their support. Crawley's different, of course!

Your ground's too small for us, your ground's too small for us, your ground's too small for us, your ground's too small for us! x

What do mean, as per usual?
Never realised Bristolians were Pikeys? But further south.....

i like how we made cheltenham look like crap and yet they made the play offs shows how football can be a strange game.
