But this widens the latitude on what could fall outside of the immunity clause which would obviously have to broaden the risk of precisely political persecutions! It's taking a supposed outlier and trying to codify it. The reward they want is coming at a risk not only to the separations clause but protection of the Presidency from its own cabinet and departments.

Would any act that a president performs be considered an official act except when he is actually campaigning but when campaigning he would have a lesser immunity since he never truly leaves the job?
I think so. to me, it seems impossible to separate personal acts from official acts. it may even be impossible to separate campaigning as a personal act. the white house staff is really the campaign arm of the current president. they may have some limitations on what they can say. but everything they say and do is to make him look good and hpefully get re-election. and when a president travels for campaigning. he is required to travel with the white house staff. so their on air force one with him everywhere he goes. so, to me there are LITTLE TO NO PERSONAL ACTS while a president is in office.

Unlike the others she mostly makes statements rather than probe. Statements confirming her views and then asking for comments. Her point about maybe just saying yes or no to absolutely immunity is circular as that analysis would have to be done by a lower court but supreme court will ultimately have to decide that on any appeal or at some point in the future. Deciding that now would guide lower courts and avoid pointless prosecutions.
