    I've been trying to step up my databasing game in Obsidian after trying out Tana as, like you, I'm likely sticking to Obsidian. The overviews on the database plugins have been quite helpful! Thanks for sharing

    Hello Danny, thanks for your nice videos. I really like the way you present.
    I was wondering if obsidian can search through images, screenshots, pdfs etc. the way we can do in OneNote

      Thia sounds like you are refering to OCR which acn b3 done with a recent plugin. Obsidian OCRwhich was in my obsidian october video.

    Hi! I'm trying to find if you've made a previous video about the Projects Plugin and how you use it, as this just mentions the update that was done to it, but it looks like a very interesting plugin. A search on your channel gave me too many videos to search through because you use the work Project and Plugin a lot (for obvious reasons! lol) Thanks!

    Hi Danny! I wanted to ask you about your stance on obsidian minimalism, I remember when you didn't even used dataview (pretty much the power user entry plugin) and relied mostly on tags, and generally used very few plugins, and now you use even more advanced ones like projects and DB folder. What made you change your workflow and system? (Edit: he doesn't use projects, just db folder as a main plugin for convenience)

    • @DannyHatcherTech
      @DannyHatcherTech  Рік тому +1

      I don't use projects and I only use dataview in a couple of places, dbfolder is the main plugin
      The main reason is small conveniences when doing things often eg, open and saving workspaces, going to the same search, finding lists of files etc.

    The workspaces feature is a bit tricky though. It kind of clones the files from the main branch into your workspace. If you delete any file in your workspace it deletes it from the whole vault so workspaces are not a place to organize files they are more like an extension of your main folder....

    • @DannyHatcherTech
      @DannyHatcherTech  Рік тому +1

      A workspace saves the layout, that is all.
      If you delete the file, the workspace cant load it.
      I use lots of workspaces with no issuea.
