This video is extremely useful. I've been looking for this type of workflow, with these shortcuts, and could not find it so succinctly explained, until now. Thanks for uploading.
i think you should provide a downloadable link for the drawing you illustrated in this video so that your viewers can follow along with you while watching the tutorial.
Hi, this tut has been so useful and helpful. I want to mention, the links are not working, guys. Is there a problem on your website? When the brushes (frre & paid versions) will be availables?. Thanks for share knowledege. Greetings from Venezuela.!
What about using the Pencil tool to draw vector lines? It won't be as perfect but that's not necessarily a bad thing, no? Regardless, thanks for a brilliant lesson on drawing with Affinity Designer. I learned an incredible amount in short time, in a fun & engaging presentation.
Oh for sure! That's one of the things I love about Affinity Designer - there's a load of ways to approach everything, even with basic line creation! I guess it is a case of 'horses for courses' with the tools; some work great for some tasks and others are better for others ... I actually think everybody should spend a couple of days restricted to the tools they're not overly used to as alternatives to their go to ones... it's easy to some of them off but sometimes it's just a lack of familiarity (we've all been there!)
I could not make it through the video because of the painfully loud music. I have to watch UA-cam with headphones and when I turn up the volume high enough to hear your voice clearly, the music comes up to ear-splitting levels.
this is a great tutorial with not many comments and definitely not positive ones. thanks for this, this is definitely a helpful video for beginners
Amazing tutorial, this is the type of Affinity Designer content I've been looking for
Great learning opportunity, music is mellow and doesn’t distract if you want it to.
I'm going to go have to go back and watch this about 15 times. Soo information dense! thank you.

This was great mate, thanks for the video ❤
Ups! A small mistake at 7:50: it's" ctrl+shft+V" to paste style, not "C"😉
Aaagh! Good spot mate, you're dead right! I'll see if I can stick in an annotation for that - thanks a mil for letting me know :)
Thanks for the video. Is this all also possible on the iPad version?

The music is annoying as hell, why?
