We go on Sunday morning, then in the evening. Again on Wednesday. Our pastor said when people say you HAVE to go 3x a week? We say no, we GET to go 3x a week! I love our church family.

Yesterday September 11,2019 , was the first time I’ve been to church alone and it felt great! I met amazing people who welcomed me to the family of God! I cried so much as they all prayed over me . Next week I want to make public to the world that I’m a follower of Christ by getting baptized! I love you Jesus! ✝️😇🙏

I’m on our soul winning team. 3 weeks ago a put a church track on a car at a nearby college. A young lady found the card and gave her life to GOD. Last night she was baptized and joins our church. She said I want to come to church and learn about my GOD!!!! O what a song.

Have been battling an addiction for 20 years and I can't tell you what the church has meant to me. People who come alongside me, help me, encourage me, lead me to truth and grace, remind me of my new identity in Christ. I have been in church since I was a little girl, very seldom missing a Sunday. I am 56 now. I have experienced some of the worst times in my life in the last 12 years...the loss of both parents, my husband of 29 years committing suicide (he was a pastor for 8 years - so no one is exempt), come to terms with what caused that suicide and how it would impact my three grown sons, and the loss of my second husband to heart disease. There have been other things that I wont get into. I can tell you, with no uncertainty, that I have been hurt immensely by the church...and for a time, I could not get back into it. But there is nothing that can replace being with God's people and the fellowship and worship that goes on. If not for a pastor friend of mine, and his persistent love for me, and his knowing all that I'd been through...GOD NEVER GAVE UP ON ME!! This - almost year - that we have been unable to attend on a regular basis has been so hard...but it has also taught me how important church is to me.

We are all human. Jesus has already forgiven all of our sin and shame. You are never too far gone. When I got to know Jesus personally, I couldn't help but to go back to Him after I had been doing my own thing for a while. Lastly, the church can help to point you in the right direction, but ultimately this journey is about you getting to know Jesus for yourself and having a relationship with Him. Spend time with Him and get to know him. Because the more you know Him, the more you can better understand Him. Invite Him into your heart if you haven't already, and you will be forever changed. Think about it this way: How would you feel if your significant other, mother, father, sister, brother, or very important person in your life neglected you, neglected to value you, love you, and care about you? God created us in His imagine. (People) What are you saying? Whatchu talkin bout Willis!? Are you saying that if we don't have a relationship with Jesus he will leave us? (Me) NO, it's quite the opposite actually. I'm saying that the less [we] know Him, the more [we] stray away from the Truth.

I love this song. Every time I hear it I close my eyes and I am taken back to a little white country church. This church was in St. Joseph Missouri my grandpa was the pastor. When I hear this song I can picture that little church out in the middle of nowhere with cows and corn fields all around. I can even remember the little cemetery right outside and the creek in back. Yes I feel for the people who are in lock down around the world. We are very fortunate to have contained covid in NZ at this stage. We are free to go to church and gather in large groups. Have been battling an addiction for 20 years and I can't tell you what the church has meant to me. People who come alongside me, help me, encourage me, lead me to truth and grace, remind me of my new identity in Christ. This song has seriously been an anchor to me the past couple of weeks when I thought I was all alone, I was reminded that God allowed me to be apart of a bigger family. people say you dont miss something til its gone. I had a stroke recently. Have been restricted from driving and pretty much am housebound. I volunteer at church and I am there 3-4 times a week. I took it for granted. I never will again and I REALLY want to go to church.

I lost my mom to liver cancer she never gave up the only thing she wanted people to.know was if they were going to heaven or hell even when she was in the hospital she wanted others to know who god is if someone who is in the hospital who passed out tracks to people then that shows how much faith we have

I have been in church since I was a little girl, very seldom missing a Sunday. I am 56 now. I have experienced some of the worst times in my life in the last 12 years...the loss of both parents, my husband of 29 years committing suicide (he was a pastor for 8 years - so no one is exempt), come to terms with what caused that suicide and how it would impact my three grown sons, and the loss of my second husband to heart disease. There have been other things that I wont get into. I can tell you, with no uncertainty, that I have been hurt immensely by the church...and for a time, I could not get back into it. But there is nothing that can replace being with God's people and the fellowship and worship that goes on. If not for a pastor friend of mine, and his persistent love for me, and his knowing all that I'd been through...GOD NEVER GAVE UP ON ME!! This - almost year - that we have been unable to attend on a regular basis has been so hard...but it has also taught me how important church is to me.

Not all churches are created equal. I mean that in a good way. Please find one that is right for you Nuni. A place that feels like home. A place that is home. We love you. We will always welcome you. You will always have a place here. To everyone reading this: No matter how far you have come; no matter how far you have gone. Trust me when I say that we all come from distant places. We are all human. Jesus has already forgiven all of our sin and shame. You are never too far gone. When I got to know Jesus personally, I couldn't help but to go back to Him after I had been doing my own thing for a while. Lastly, the church can help to point you in the right direction, but ultimately this journey is about you getting to know Jesus for yourself and having a relationship with Him. Spend time with Him and get to know him. Because the more you know Him, the more you can better understand Him. Invite Him into your heart if you haven't already, and you will be forever changed. Think about it this way: How would you feel if your significant other, mother, father, sister, brother, or very important person in your life neglected you, neglected to value you, love you, and care about you? God created us in His imagine. (People) What are you saying? Whatchu talkin bout Willis!? Are you saying that if we don't have a relationship with Jesus he will leave us? (Me) NO, it's quite the opposite actually. I'm saying that the less [we] know Him, the more [we] stray away from the Truth.

I love this song. Every time I hear it I close my eyes and I am taken back to a little white country church. This church was in St. Joseph Missouri my grandpa was the pastor. When I hear this song I can picture that little church out in the middle of nowhere with cows and corn fields all around. I can even remember the little cemetery right outside and the creek in back. I can almost hear the gravel under my feet as I walk from the car to the front door. Thank you so much for this song that takes me back to that time. It has been about 14 years since I have been to that little church because grandpa got very sick and had to step down as the pastor and about a year after passed away. Following 12 months of Covid and lockdown and no normal church, this song resonates deeply. I miss church, the community and the family there.
Yes I feel for the people who are in lock down around the world. We are very fortunate to have contained covid in NZ at this stage. We are free to go to church and gather in large groups. We don’t know whether satan has been given authority for this world wide pandemic sickness like Job was afflicted or God is pouring out his wrath? We just have to stay faithful and trust in Jesus.
