I’m 64 years old and learning guitar and Shane you are an awesome upbeat teacher.
SHANE I WAS LISTENING TO A LOT OF FOLKS ON UA-cam. I SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR SITE. SO I ENJOYED THE WAY YOU PLAY AND MORE IMPORTANT THE WAY YOU TEACH. JUST TOLD MY SON TO SUBSCRIBE TO YOUR PAGE. DIDN'T KNOW HE HAD PICKED UP THE GUITAR. HE DIDN'T KNOW I HAD. GAVE HIM ONE OF MY GUITAR. LEFT HERE PROUD AS A PEACOCK. I GOT MARRIED 43YRS AGO STARTED HAVING KIDS. WORKED ALL THE TIME. PUT AWAY THE GUITAR. 41YRS LATER AFTER I RETIRED. TOLD WIFE I WAS GETTING A GUITAR. STARTED PLAYING. WIFE TOLD ME WHAT A DIFFERENCE IN JUST 4 WEEKS. BEING NICE. FIVE GUITARS LATER FOUND OUT MY SON WAS LEARNING GUITAR. I WAS HAPPY TO HELP HIM ALONG. TOLD HIM IT WAS THERAPEUTIC. HE SAID HE KNOWS. THANKS SHANE. PICKED UP SOME OF THE LEAD ON SIMPLE MAN THIS MORNING. NEVER TO OLD
Thank you Steve - great to hear that. Have fun with it !
Shane
Your the best! Love this. I really like these slightly tougher beginner songs that challenge left hand finger independence. This channel has really helped me advance past basic open chord boring stuff. This is so much fun to play!
Very good instructions. Bob has so many nice songs to listen to and learn to play. Thanks Shane!
Thanks for that - very glad you enjoyed. Cheers! Shane
Shane you are the most awesome teacher, you know when students are going to mess up and you keep them going.

I somehow forgot the account password. I love any help you can offer me.
@Dash Phillip Instablaster ;)
@Ignacio Bentley thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.

Thank you Ed - glad to hear from you. Shane
Great Lesson! I always enjoy them! Your patience, and the way you approach them is WONDERFUL!
I started guitar 8 months ago.. I did 2 open mics before Covid hit...and just finished playing my first major solo gig yesterday!
600 people! Yeah... No SHIT! It was a private party at a lakeside home... 50 people there. 20 more than anticipated...
However! The REAL crowd were the boaters! We stopped counting at 74...
With anywhere from 4 to 20 per boat! There were a lot of filled pontoon boats...
GREAT gig! Rousing cheers and applause.. and scored on tips!
DISCLAIMER! I am a Professional multi-instrumentalist with 18 yrs under my belt...Guitar is my 9th, and newest instrument...
Individual results may vary ;)
THANK YOU for keeping me company throughout the winter, and getting me up to speed on this damned thing! IMO? Harder than my fiddle....
Progress!
Great instruction as always. Love this tune. Always wanted to learn. Your instruction is so clear and easy to follow. You rock.
Awesome lesson! Been playing air guitar for years on this song! Now I'm getting good enough to actually play it on a guitar! Thanks!

Thanks so much for the lesson. Always enjoy the play along (@ the two different speeds) at the end of the lesson. Don’t have an opportunity to play with others these days, so this really helps. I’m getting better at jumping in when I miss a chord. Cheers!
Glad to hear that Barry - thank you! Hope you're having fun with it. Cheers, Shane

@@GuitarAtWork I’m originally from Buffalo. My youth was marked by lots of Labatts Blue and fries with gravy. So when I found my very 1st Guitar At Work video and heard your accent, I thought: “I’m HOME!” Love ya, brother.

Your calling chords is simply awesome 😎. You're been intricate in showing me the way to playing some rocking songs. I did a couple of your Tom Petty songs and again am so appreciative of your dedication in helping make us newbies into players 🎸🤯💯🙏😎
Thanks Aaron - glad you’re enjoying. Have fun with it! Shane
Brother you are FLAWLESS! I’m fairly new to playing and my fingers were KILLING ME...but when you started playing the full intro and main verse I had to pick her back up and power through it! Thank you for that!!

Shane great to see your doing well. Love your lessons. I came across a song that I immediately thought you would be great at teaching. Give a listen to “I saved a bird today” by Peter Frampton. It is a great song with a little of everything to teach. Great intro with arpeggios, harmonics, great chord movement and nice solo’s. Thanks and keep the lessons coming. Stay safe
What a great song for beginners to really make a jump. At least thats where I’m at in the learning process!
Excellent lesson can't wait for more 👍
Thank you so much!
Glad you enjoyed - Cheers!
Shane

I already know this one, but this is an excellent lesson. How about It Don't Come Easy in honour of Ringo, he recently turned 80. Thanks Shane, keep pickin' & grinnin'.

Cool demo! Fist time I have been to your channel. Thanks for sharing!
That was aawesome!! :)
I originally discovered this chord progression with the song by Gary & Dave back in 1973
("Could you Ever Love me Again"), I personally wrote at least 10 songs based on this chord progression. JUST SAYING
this is excellent thank you!
Thanks for helping me fill the gap. Camp fires sound way better 🙏🏼
Glad it’s helping. Cheers! Shane
Great lesson!
I just stumbled on your channel, i have been skimming through your song lessons and play along videos, its funny but the particular play along to one of your lessons wasn't there haha,
But this is exactly what i was looking for, lessons related to rhythm guitar with great song choices. They are all within my feel which means i can focus on muscle memory.
Great videos from what i can see. I have an exceptional ear and coordination, but been searching for this channel 😄
Nice one, Shane. Thx
Thank you Van - always great to hear from you!
Shane
Good instruction! Thank you…
Thanks for that - much appreciated and very glad to have you here with us!
