The calendar isn't like the Christmas one, it's like the Archeology one. The difference is that you are able to complete this one without spending diamonds or sacrificing too many daily specials. You get two extra grand prize selection kits, however the poor grand prize doesn't encourage going after the calendar. You are better off going after the daily specials, so the pumpkins on the days you really like the daily special and the toys and tools of course.
