In this beginners guide, how to get started tutorial, I show you how to adjust the time settings, the Server Time Multiplier & Server Time Multiplier (Night) of your Nitrado Custom Community Server for Xbox & PlayStation Consoles, so that you can have longer days, and more importantly, shorter nights.
Updated for 2024, I also discuss the "Use System time" , "Custom server time" & "Persistent server time" server settings, so that you can change the date that your server starts, which will effect the ambient temperature, and also how you can have your server have persistent time, so it remembers the time on a restart.
The above info was believed to be correct as of DayZ Update Patch 1.24, May 2024.
Thanks, Rob.

1.24 is not the current version... you mean 1.25

Do you have any PC servers I can play on? Edit: Apologies, I searched in the wrong tab. I found three of them! Going to play on your test server if I can. Thank you!! Second Edit: NM, they require passwords. LOL I have my own servers, but was just loking for a chill server to mess about on. Thanks anyway my friend!! Ive learned SO much from your vids.
How do we do that if we are hosting the server on our own machine? Which area (XML etc) would be used to mod this. Happy to just have the xml name, can figure out the rest from there
PC is different and it isn't an xml file you are looking for. It is either the init.c or another .cfg file
