I’m sorry to say it but I am assuming the majority of Browns fans are happy their nightmare is over.

It's not over. They're in the middle of the nightmare because their cap is absolutely destroyed for both 2025 and 2026.

Nobody did it to him Boone, it was a non-contact injury.
When you’re an asshole, and have been credibly accused by dozens of women, don’t expect sympathy.

Those women probably had families too. Why arent they being financially compensated by that big contract the rapist got for being victims. He ruined their lives mentally and life caught up to him. Hopefully those millions he made dry up from stupid decisions.

Loved hearing Sirles and Boone talk about the emotional weight the word soft carries in the NFL. It gives a good insight into the mentality of the players.

Watson is not coming back. He didn’t show any hint that he can still play. The suitable analogy is Kaepernick. Not worth the massive blowback to put him on a roster.

DFQ: How do you treat team mates who work hard, try hard and are good guys, but just don't have it? I'm talking about the guys that everyone knows will be gone as soon as they find someone better.

Why is there some unwritten rule that we can't have nice things? Why can't the Chiefs have nice things?
Why can't we keep Hill, Hunt, Rice, or any of our big time guys in their prime? Why do we coach them up to go somewhere else or get injured? Why won't the universe allow us one stud in his prime to play with Mahomes?
    Just one, please....

DFQs: Heres a complicated one...I've always thought that if I was a QB and I was negotiating a contract, wait until we are about 5mil apart, then I would say "ok you give me the extra 5mil, but put that money into the Oline. Each Oline starter gets 1 mil each for the year. (58,800 per game whomever starts that game) What do you think? Would an organization go for this? What would you think of a QB doing this? Do you think "skill players" would get mad at this?

You may find it despicable for Browns fans to cheer for Watsons injury but those fans find Watson’s actions off the field despicable and I think for them and a lot of fans of the NFL, they don’t see him as a human. They see him as subhuman and I’m not sure that reputation can be repaired. I don’t think any NFL team would be willing to bring that on.

Not a dumb football question, but I think Boone has grounds to get at least a beer out of one of his steak and a beer bet.
One of Boones bets was that JJ Mccarthy would indeed be the starter.
The Vikings just released a video on their UA-cam page where Darnold admits he wasn't sure if he would end up the starter as he knew Minnesota had plans to draft a QB.
Boone, I think you have grounds for at least a beer.

Browns fan.... I feel you guys were more fair to Watson than many here in Cleveland..... he is a human and too many ppl play moral police... I cant imagine the weight of the last 3 years. he has payed the accusers... so justice (if needed) was severed. It was on the FO for taking this own knowing the circumstances. Cle fans deserved better but I was embarrassed by how they acted as well. The Amari thing is a gut punch, but im happy for him... he is my fav WR.

Terrible take. Raping women isnt okay just because you pay them. Knowing the Browns will be back to the dogshit franchise they were before baker mayfield brings me tears of joy. Fuck that joke of a franchise and may deshaun watson rot in hell.

  • @ryandennypt

DFQ: Are RBs underpaid? I think it's crazy to let go of an elite RB for $5 million. Saquon Barkley likely would have stayed with the Giants for another $5M a year, which is nothing. And he's a game changer. I think elite RBs deserve to be paid more because they can be true game changers. Why are elite RBs paid $15M and elite WRs are paid $35M...
