Saturday is big game for Indiana. Toss up. Jackson is a good backup but QB is a hard position to fill. Rourke is slated to be back for Michigan State. If IU gets pass Washington then MSU is going to be a rock fight. They are much improved.
I think Aiden Chiles has improved a lot since the BC game. It didn’t show against Oregon and OSU cause they are so talented, but he carved up Iowas defense this past Saturday.
Yeah I didn't see many fans agreeing with me when I claimed we'd miss the playoff in the offseason but most of the slappy Michigan media surprisingly also had them missing the playoff. The fans on the other hand were living in a fantasy talking about undefeated, 11-1, 10-2 😂
Do you think Coach Cignetti would leave Indiana if/when Alabamas of the world come calling?? He finally got the chance to prove that he wins when IU called him. He had been overlooked by those programs all those years before that. All the way until he turned 62! If I were him I would have a chip on my shoulder. He can prove a lot more at a school like Indiana. Resources are there, but no one has ever been able to build a dynasty there. He can do it-at least from what he has shown so far, I believe he can. He’ll be a legend there. It’s a great school, great town, and we all know how people there would treat legends (save for a few past administrators). Why not build a dynasty and be a legend, rather than making another move to a traditionally bigger program?? Money, maybe, but I would believe IU can match their offers now that they know they can fill the Memorial Stadium.
UM loses to MSU only thing that saves Sherrone’s job is a win in Columbus…which at this point would be an absolute miracle if they don’t get beat by 50
The comment about the West side of the Big 10 is interesting in the context of Indiana. The teams in the West Division weren't playing Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State every year (not to mention the occasional strong season from Michigan State). Indiana has been historically bad... but in the context of their yearly murderous schedule, perhaps not nearly as bad as people believe. While ultimately losing, they often put up a good fight, but of course college football isn't horseshoes.
Regarding the hypothetical… I would rather lose looking competent and competitive. It’s really less about the score and more about that. It would be hard to say we looked competent in any phase of the game last week. But I guess we’ve successfully done away with “Nebraska always find someway to lose.” Is that progress?
*As far as Nebraska is concerned, it’s obvious what the problem is. It’s Malachi and He Who Walks Behind The Rows. Some serious ‘Children Of The Corn’ voodoo curse action. And it was probably that Wiley ‘ol coot Kurt Ference who provided the chicken foot and cauldron.*
No they won't. Indiana not going to playoff. I still think they lose to Michigan and Ohio state. Yes they looked great for a Indiana team but Ohio State Oregon Penn State and even Michigan better than Indiana

Such a dumb take at the end of the show about race by whoever tweeted that bs. Iowa has consistently put defensive players, black and white, defensive backs or otherwise in the nfl for a very long time now. Just ignorant
xichigan won't get rid of moore this season or next. he was always just the warm body they needed in the position to bridge the gap from hairball through the fallout of the sanctions from hairball's cheating. there is no decent coach who will take that job until the fallout has settled. then xichigan will have to hope they can find their own version of 2012 bill o'brien, who will want stipulations in his contract to protect him from being fired because of all of the losses that will happen because of that fallout. xichigan will be a mac-level program for the foreseeable future.
@brian_abn reality is we're reigning national champs after the NCAA President Charlie Baker said we won it all last year "fair n square." Then, after our run of dominance, we lost 18 players to the NFL along with most of our coaches to the NFL because it's the NFL and not the minor leagues like college football. @@mgoboski the reality is everything that happened for xichigan these past 3 years was due to cheating, and the bill is about to come due. the school kept sherone moore because the school knows that bill is coming due, and that no other coach would take the job with that hanging over the program. those 3 years are going to be vacated, there will be a multi-year bowl ban, and recruiting reductions. no coach is going to want to deal with that anchor hanging around their neck, so you're stuck with who you're stuck with. and as for any recruits you get, in a transfer portal world, how long do you think they're going to stick around knowing they'll be sitting at home during bowl season? as soon as those sanctions drop, those players will be sprinting for the portal. that is your reality.

Have you actually watched them play? They're offense averages 48.5 points per game which is number one in the nation. The average over 500 yards per game. I can't believe I am saying that Indiana could finish 12-0 and Michigan could finish 4-8. It has been such a crazy and entertaining season.
Indiana still has to play in Columbus
