I love the offices! The decor is so Arizona and the colors just blend so great together. I have the tiered island and if we weren't moving we would had changed it and had a single tub sink put in as well. Keep the main cabinets but yes, just add new fronts, so much easier on the budget and you don't have to remove everything. (Depending on contractor) Yes, add the extra curtain to the patio door so that the corner will look complete. It won't be that bad. Could even attach both rods to look like one. You are doing great and just between you and me I like the pendant light, but to compromise was also a good choice. Love to see shorter deep clean videos if possible.
Kyle's new office shelves look really great ! Love your 3 hanging lights in your office!! Well done ✔ Amanda & Kyle! ... in my opinion, I think the clock is set a bit too high in Kyle's office - it would look better /more balanced if it comes down so the top is even or a little lower than the top of the metal shelf brackets.
I agree, great video, love all the changes in the offices and I agree about the clock, it needs to be a little lower or something else maybe underneath it to balance the room a little better in my opinion. :)
I would love if you made shorter more focused spring cleaning videos 😍 That way it would be easier for me to clean along! 🥳 And then at the end you can combine them all to a spring cleaning marathon 😁😁 Love this video 😍

Love these quick updates! Super cute :) A trick I learned from my mom: keep a small mason jar with your wall paint under your kitchen sink for touch-ups. That way you don’t have to get out your 5 gallon bucket every time! :)
Love how the house is coming together! My opinion is.. continue with wood frame on Kyles office with canvas. My I suggest switching clock and prints so that wall with the tall shelves is balanced. And maybe try putting up curtains on that slider or mock put up so u can see if you think it might be too much! I think curtains and a rug always ground a room!! Love it all!!

I also think that another shelf on the other side of the window in his office would look great (if it would fit)! If not I think the clock needs to be moved down a little to balance the shelf.

I also love the random nerf bullets around your house 😂I would vote no on the patio door curtain, little boy hands going in and out -- and Emma too -- would make it the white hard to keep up with. Maybe try that peel and stick frosted glass look on the sliders, so you keep all the light with a bit more privacy. The bigger light fixture over the table feels more substantial 👍. Both offices look amazing. Can't wait to see the framed mural on the wall in the office🤞

Hi Amanda, I was kind of thinking about what you can put on that wall as I was thinking about the wooden map that you had in your basement of your Utah home. It would be awesome if you can put in and then put a pin were Arizona is. Just a thought!!
Suggestions: For the ends of the cabinets, they make a thin board you can pick up at lowes/ home depot/ etc (usually by the cabinets or lumber). Use this on the ends of the cabinets and you can paint, this will help avoid further pealing and it is actually wood. Second suggestion is to get curtains like the color of evergreen fog for the kitchen area. This will make your pendant pop like you want and will tie in the island when you paint it and the built ins.
I can't get over how much just painting can change the whole esthetic of your home. Your office turned out so nice and the shelves in Kyle's office look like they were built for that space. The curtains look so good in the kitchen. I can't wait to see your kitchen makeover. Everything is looking so nice and cozy.

You can add a piece of 1/4” panel, MDF since you are painting, on those cabinet ends that are peeling. They can be tucked behind the face frame to give you a flush end. Your home looks great with the changes you are making!
I LOVE how everything is looking in the house, and can’t wait to see the kitchen transformation! It would be fun to see the shorter spring cleaning videos focused on different spaces, and maybe include any new organization ideas for those areas as well.

Love your plans for the kitchen. I agree with you on the single basin sink...it is so much more functional than the double basin! I also have a double basin sink and I miss my single basin sink so much! As for whether you should add curtains on your slider door, I don't think it is necessary since you will have them on the window next to it. The only zone-out chore I do is mowing the lawn. Between my yard and the neighbors yard I mow about 3 acres. It’s totally relaxing and is my favorite chore.
I happily zone out when I'm making beds. It's just so satisfying smoothing out wrinkles and straightening up...it's cleaning floors that drive me crazy even after all these years! I like short cleaning videos and lots of decorating or projects. Loved how the office projects came out!
Love the curtains. I think the door can stay as it is and curtains be placed in the living room also to add a touch of softness. It's all coming together lovely.

Put your fiddle leaf outside where it gets light and water. Mine did that and I put it on the patio.. it started flowing and now has branches. I think that they just don't get enough light inside. Oh, I also refreshed the potting soil. Scooped out about half and added new soil. That was a couple years ago. Now I have to prune it occasionly.

Great video. In Kyle's office I would put up the wood and large print on the blank wall. In the dining area I think a curtain would help soften the door and give a little sun protection. I love what you plan for the kitchen. The doors can always be taken off and replaced ; the trouble spots on the sides of the cabinets, the veneer needs to be softened so it can be re-glued, clamped then painted with enamel paint. I enjoy your video's no matter if they are short or longer. Do what works for you.
Great video i love how both your offices turned out, I have a mini fridge in my home office / craft room to hide it i have a cabinet the fridge wouldn't fit so I had to cut the back off now it fits perfectly and also good to have storage too , in my dining room I have similar windows with a slider glass door right next to each other I added blackout curtains and I love it
I agree with you. I think the pendant like in your office would look better (leave it in its natural color) over the kitchen table than the one already in place. Just my opinion and my preference. I love all the past projects and the ones in this video. Y’all have done some magazine quality projects. Great job.
hey Amanda and fam. I think you should leave the wall in Kyle's office bare. There is enough decor. that is a perfect amount of negative space to balance everything out so the walls won't have TOO much decor. My zoning out chore is actually laundry lol the only thing I don't like about laundry is putting everything away. But best believe when I'm folding and sorting, I don't even realize I'm doing it and I'm done before I know it! Great video as always, can't wait for more!!
You should add the map you had in your last house in the basement .It is a big enough wall to support it. I keep ours in the refrigerator, but would love to keep it on the counter it goes bad so fast. Like bread in the pantry with the heat in Southern California it just doesn’t last long. I think both light work well in the room. I think you could add a curtain to the sliding glass door with no problem.
White cabinets would be such a classic look. I can see the yellow in the current cabinet color. I love your ideas for the kitchen. One suggestion, putting new granite on existing cabinets can be a bit challenging if the cabinets aren’t level. We experienced that in our current home. I would make sure the granite installers can tackle that issue. Your home is looking great!
Great job on the two offices. The kitchen redo for your counter tops is a great idea. I’m not a white farm house design however definitely the change will look great for sure. For the curtains solely in the eat in area I did toppers. Either way they add texture. The new curtain so super high but it turned out great!
Hi Amanda, the bookcase looks really nice as well as the curtains in your dining room. I think if you spray paint the pendant light black it will flow better from your kitchen to your dining room and it won’t get lost in all the light coming trough the big window.

I love the colors and plans for your kitchen! Your home is coming together beautifully! I would try adding more curtains across the entire dining room wall and extend the rod to cover the whole wall. That would give the illusion of symmetry. I would also move the couch in Kyle’s office closer to the bookshelf - again for better balance of the room. Your office is perfect!!!!

I love how everything turned out! I definitely think Kyle’s office needs something on the wall. Because it’s an open space with tall ceilings, something on that wall will help even more with any echos, plus that wall just looks really blank and unfinished with nothing hanging there and what you got to hang was really nice! I think it’ll look great with a wood “frame”
Hello I love love all your ideas, I feel like you have a fluent flow on all you do. I know many trial and erras play a major role to the final presentation. As for Kyle's office. In my opinion, I think something simple- you could even create it for him with your cricut. How about a decent sized quote of either a favorite philosopher, author, singer etc that inspires your day to day life/ motivation. I feel like theres always a point in life we pause in a daze and with a motivating message that can catch your eye/attention can be encouraging in whatever it is you wish to prevail in.
We keep our fruit in both the fridge and countertop too. I like cold citrus and apples husband doesn’t also it does help to have them as a snack seeing them on the table or counter makes a great reminder!
I’m loving the office spaces!! Can’t wait for the spring cleaning videos! I would prefer the shorter videos myself! Also on the patio door, I would nix the curtains. I think they would be in the way of the kiddos running in and out and would cause bigger messes with the dripping, etc. I can’t wait for the kitchen renovation!! Y’all are doing such an amazing job!!

I would trick the eye with the curtains, like cover the window panel closest to the screen door and extend the curtain past the other side so that it runs past and make the window look centered.

You can add a piece of 1/4” panel, MDF since you are painting, on those cabinet ends that are peeling. They can be tucked behind the face frame to give you a flush end. Your home looks great with the changes you are making!
I LOVE how everything is looking in the house, and can’t wait to see the kitchen transformation! It would be fun to see the shorter spring cleaning videos focused on different spaces, and maybe include any new organization ideas for those areas as well.

Love your plans for the kitchen. I agree with you on the single basin sink...it is so much more functional than the double basin! I also have a double basin sink and I miss my single basin sink so much! As for whether you should add curtains on your slider door, I don't think it is necessary since you will have them on the window next to it.
In my house we like to put the fruit in the fridge because we like to eat it cold.

The only zone-out chore I do is mowing the lawn. Between my yard and the neighbors yard I mow about 3 acres. It’s totally relaxing and is my favorite chore.
I happily zone out when I'm making beds. It's just so satisfying smoothing out wrinkles and straightening up...it's cleaning floors that drive me crazy even after all these years! I like short cleaning videos and lots of decorating or projects. Loved how the office projects came out!

Put your fiddle leaf outside where it gets light and water. Mine did that and I put it on the patio.. it started flowing and now has branches. I think that they just don't get enough light inside. Oh, I also refreshed the potting soil. Scooped out about half and added new soil. That was a couple years ago. Now I have to prune it occasionly.

Great video. In Kyle's office I would put up the wood and large print on the blank wall. In the dining area I think a curtain would help soften the door and give a little sun protection. I love what you plan for the kitchen. The doors can always be taken off and replaced ; the trouble spots on the sides of the cabinets, the veneer needs to be softened so it can be re-glued, clamped then painted with enamel paint. I enjoy your video's no matter if they are short or longer. Do what works for you.

Great video i love how both your offices turned out, I have a mini fridge in my home office / craft room to hide it i have a cabinet the fridge wouldn't fit so I had to cut the back off now it fits perfectly and also good to have storage too , in my dining room I have similar windows with a slider glass door right next to each other I added blackout curtains and I love it
I agree with you. I think the pendant like in your office would look better (leave it in its natural color) over the kitchen table than the one already in place. Just my opinion and my preference. I love all the past projects and the ones in this video. Y’all have done some magazine quality projects. Great job.

hey Amanda and fam. I think you should leave the wall in Kyle's office bare. There is enough decor. that is a perfect amount of negative space to balance everything out so the walls won't have TOO much decor. My zoning out chore is actually laundry lol the only thing I don't like about laundry is putting everything away. But best believe when I'm folding and sorting, I don't even realize I'm doing it and I'm done before I know it! Great video as always, can't wait for more!!

You should add the map you had in your last house in the basement .It is a big enough wall to support it. I keep ours in the refrigerator, but would love to keep it on the counter it goes bad so fast. Like bread in the pantry with the heat in Southern California it just doesn’t last long. I think both light work well in the room. I think you could add a curtain to the sliding glass door with no problem.
White cabinets would be such a classic look. I can see the yellow in the current cabinet color. I love your ideas for the kitchen. One suggestion, putting new granite on existing cabinets can be a bit challenging if the cabinets aren’t level. We experienced that in our current home. I would make sure the granite installers can tackle that issue. Your home is looking great!
Great job on the two offices. The kitchen redo for your counter tops is a great idea. I’m not a white farm house design however definitely the change will look great for sure. For the curtains solely in the eat in area I did toppers. Either way they add texture. The new curtain so super high but it turned out great!

Hi Amanda, the bookcase looks really nice as well as the curtains in your dining room. I think if you spray paint the pendant light black it will flow better from your kitchen to your dining room and it won’t get lost in all the light coming trough the big window.

I love the colors and plans for your kitchen! Your home is coming together beautifully! I would try adding more curtains across the entire dining room wall and extend the rod to cover the whole wall. That would give the illusion of symmetry. I would also move the couch in Kyle’s office closer to the bookshelf - again for better balance of the room. Your office is perfect!!!!

I love how everything turned out! I definitely think Kyle’s office needs something on the wall. Because it’s an open space with tall ceilings, something on that wall will help even more with any echos, plus that wall just looks really blank and unfinished with nothing hanging there and what you got to hang was really nice! I think it’ll look great with a wood “frame”
Hello I love love all your ideas, I feel like you have a fluent flow on all you do. I know many trial and erras play a major role to the final presentation. As for Kyle's office. In my opinion, I think something simple- you could even create it for him with your cricut. How about a decent sized quote of either a favorite philosopher, author, singer etc that inspires your day to day life/ motivation. I feel like theres always a point in life we pause in a daze and with a motivating message that can catch your eye/attention can be encouraging in whatever it is you wish to prevail in.
We keep our fruit in both the fridge and countertop too. I like cold citrus and apples husband doesn’t also it does help to have them as a snack seeing them on the table or counter makes a great reminder!
I’m loving the office spaces!! Can’t wait for the spring cleaning videos! I would prefer the shorter videos myself! Also on the patio door, I would nix the curtains. I think they would be in the way of the kiddos running in and out and would cause bigger messes with the dripping, etc. I can’t wait for the kitchen renovation!! Y’all are doing such an amazing job!!

I would trick the eye with the curtains, like cover the window panel closest to the screen door and extend the curtain past the other side so that it runs past and make the window look centered.

You can also buy the wood map, it would look beautiful. Also just a suggestion if you move the sofa close to the new shelf unit you may fit the black file cabinet and use it has a side table. Can wait to see you next monday

You can buy bondo for wood to fill any cracks and holes in wood. Sand it down once cures and it’s ready to paint.
Love that the island will be in the greenish colour! I kinda like the two level island because it kinda hides the sink and the dishsoap and stuff. That way you can’t really see those things from the living room 😇
