Love these Glorious Simplex devices! They should replace the dead strobes with ADA 4904 strobes but keep the horns. And as for the broken horns, they should replace the horn and keep the SP.
Oh, is this one of those school Simplex systems where they put regular horn/strobes in the hallways and large areas and they put mini-horns of some kind in the classrooms? I've seen quite a few 1990s school Simplex fire alarm systems set up that way.
Very nice, kinda neat that it's half and half between continuous and code 3. Always love seeing old Simplex systems

realistically they’d probably just replace the whole thing if either was dead
This would not be possible as that does not comply with UL.
those horns are definitely fixable tbh
@@trainknighttdefinitely not the strobes
That is very unique that some are on the ceiling

great test! def a rare setup! what were the mini horns we were also hearing?
Simplex rebrands of the gentex mini horns
epic system!
Me too I like seeing old fire alarms
it’s like you’re at a vocational school for hoarders faculty included
Must be a NAC booster doing the Temporal 3. The 4002 did not produce the modern T3 cadence.
It is, read the desciption
Enhanced 4002s did produce modern T3. An example of this will be uploaded next week
Is it the 9104 that's ceiling mount? I can't find any other information on the vertical-strobe or ceiling mount versions of the 4903-9101
Yes the ceiling mount model is 4903-9104
I bet those Simplex 9806 With 4903-9104 are not that bad!
Yo bro 4050-80 where are you from
Ceiling mounted 4903-9104 plates are SUPER rare! Also is this in a different school in the same school district as the last video?
They are actually 4903-9104s!
@@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554my bad that was a typo I have made all thanks to my auto correcting keyboard 😒
Part continuous and part t3 is cool ahh
I wish they can use code 3 instead of continuous
They can if Coded and they'd be able to do march time
@ right
@@justinlyonsPawPatrolPlus there's Horns on Temporal 3
Half the building does
The system probably had problems with it
Nice to see that the majority of these 9806s' aren't non-functional.
We never know when there is a fire drill
This actually seems to be my old grade school. I'm assuming this is Progress Elementary
I am very hesitant to respond to this because I try to keep these building locations as private as I can, but you are indeed correct lol
This is where I went for elementary school. It does not seem like much has changed since I was there between 2002 and 2005.
That would have been funny if you actually sprayed the mechanical horn strobe
I wish my school had strobes I’m in a new portable that’s the only place that has horn strobes like I just wish
Code 3 Check
0:44 Me confundí xd (English: I'm confused xd)
Simplex 4903 1291s are so loud they sound the Wheelock 70022ts
I disagree with them all being not good. As long as they work and can notify people they are just fine in my opinion which means crap to anybody.
