- Does your Tacoma need a bed mat? In todays video I take a test drive with a bed full of everyday man stuff with and without the bed mat installed. I speed up the drives to shorten the video. Even though they appear to move about the same amount, I went a bit harder on the turns and the braking with the bed mat installed. No clunks with the mat installed, many clunks without the mat installed. I believe it is a great purchase, links below. They are a great deal if you can find one used.
