Liko vs Roy made me think "yeah... I'm glad I decided to watch this from the very beginning". To anyone who decided to skip Horizons because Ash isn't in it, you don't know what you're missing. Also, Amethio redemption arc LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
An interesting bit about Episode 65 is that Sango, Onyx and Hamber were going to let Amethio to explain himself as they got their own suspicions about what happened, but Gibeon rejected Hamber's request and didn't even give Amethio a chance to explain. Hamber and Onyx I would expect them to let Amethio explain himself, but pretty surprised that Sango is willing to hear Amethio out. And it seems that Spinel AND Agate have a deeper goal as we see them together pretty often especially in the most recent episode when Agate told Spinel that she didn't tell Hamber nor plan to tell him about the information they stole from Naranja Academy. And for the bit about Grusha. Grusha's whole thing is that he DOESN'T give second chances, similar to how he's harsh on everyone including himself about results, it once again comes from Grusha's perspective with how life didn't give him a second chance once he got into that accident. Although Liko lost the battle against Roy, this battle REALLY showed just how much they've grown throughout the arc especially compared to VERY early in the series when they would just spam moves. I really love how this whole battle is the culmination of their whole adventure so far, Liko started off as someone who was scared and didn't have the drive to battle, but now she’s gained so much confidence that she can battle with her Pokémon exceptionally. And Roy started off as someone who didn’t think before acting, now he’s become disciplined and a great battler. Neither of them started off as quick learners or Jacks/Janes of all trades, and the changes in their characters weren't sudden or unnatural at all. Once again, genuine character development. And the battle shows off how much their friendship has evolved since the start of the series, espeically the fact that, despite literally being in the middle of the battle, not only the crowd was hyping Roy up as he sings, Liko JOINS IN on hyping up Roy as well. And in the battle I LOVE how it's constantly going back and forth between them as they come up with strategies and then countering each other's strategies. Floragato using its yo-yo to restrain Fuecoco, Roy then took advantage of that by having Kilowattrel pull Floragato up with it, and then Liko using Floragato's Magical Leaf to soften her landing after being tossed down by Kilowattrel. Then Roy using Kilowattrel's Wind Power ability to power up Spark to overpower Floragato and then paralyzing her, Liko's Hattrem's last resort using her Healer ability to heal Floragato's paralysis and both of their Terastallized Pokemon clashing at the end.
Sidian's Garganacl using Recover in these recent battles really helps gauge the Rising Trio's newfound strength. It never bothered to heal in the past.

Another good part of Ceruledge showing he and Amethio care for each other is the immediate contrast from what we saw last episode, where Spinel clearly did not care about Umbreon.
One thing horizons is doing so well is displaying Liko and Roys growth as trainers. They actually feel like they are growing as battlers at the right pace. Amethio _needs_ that Zuko Arc. Hopefully, it's a bit later in the series just so he might not need to be nerfed down to match with the trio. However, looking at his character, it is equally possible he might start working on his own (S1 Zuko?). Hopefully, we get to see the Paldean characters again, but since we're gonna go to Kitakami now (will they finally reveal which region it is in?), it might not be for a while. Dude I just love this series. Can’t wait for the next arc and how well our trio will perform this time in their travels. Love also the detail you are wearing a coat in the snow episodes and slowly removing it when they are back in the school. Notice that on the last review too
Wow, when you think about it, Amethio has a really rough life. He’s constantly being one upped by his rival Friede, he’s always being looked down upon by his fellow explorers, he keeps on being purposely left out on all the major operations. And to top it all off, his own grandfather expels him from the explorers and coldly shuns him out. I know he’s a bad guy, but you can’t help but feel sorry for him

And while we're allowed to believe he was kidnapping Sprigatito for ransom, he later said he didn't want to use it as a hostage, which leads me to believe that he saved it because he didn't want it to die.) He's just trying to help his grandfather, his family, whose "love" is definitely shown to be conditional. It's likely he was just born and indoctrinated into the whole Explorers thing, and it's really all he knows. I'm thinking it's going to take a while for a redemption, something has to shake his faith in Gibeon first (this whole incident doesn't really count in my eyes, because it's Spinel pulling the wool over his grandpa's eyes), and that's when he will get his redemption arc and join the RVT.

Excellent! Liko and amethio are basically mirror images of each other. And that’s actually cool. Amethio is getting the zuko treatment, and I’m hyped for that! I liked that Grusha passed Liko. Although I wish they gotten a rematch instead. And Liko vs Roy was legendary! Fuecoco had a cool evolution!
Thr fight between liko and roy was So awesome. I was afraid they would pull a tie because they're afraid to choose a winner but I'm glad they let roy win
If anyone deserv to win it's Liko. She shouldn't have won. She work so hard and lost every battle she face in the arc. It not fair. I would perfer the tie than Roy winning actually.
Amethio definitely isnt going to be redeemed so soon, thatd be rushed. he’ll “follow his own path” as he likes to put it, until eventually one day he’ll approach the RVT and say: “Hello, Amethio here”
Tho I liked the battle and didn't hate the result or anything, I still wish Liko won because she hadn't really had the best run this arc. It's beginning to make her look like a jobber, and it kinda sucks. (Compared to Roy. He may have lost to Hassel and Ryme, but he ran circles around the latter in their second fight.)
Also, more and more, I'm thinking Gibeon pulled a Sozin on Lucius. Like, Terapagos is so hostile towards Amethio, and even hearing Gibeon's name prompts such an angry response. And Spinel trapping two kids in a cave with the apparent intent they either starve or freeze is pretty dark. And then he still had a backup plan in case they escaped, I like how intelligent and competent he is as a villain.
The battle was a close call and had Liko perhaps tried something different, she would have won. Also she fought against far more powerful foes than Roy had, and ultimately this arc is less about winning and more about not giving up and learning.
All I gotta say about Fuecoco's evolution: "IT'S ABOUT FLIPPIN' TIME!!!" Though I thought Liko should've won here, Florgatto learning Sucker Punch(I believe that's the move, if im right) felt alright. And I can't even begin how bad I feel for Amethio right now. Imagine being shunned by your own family, and that exactly what happened to him. Trying to prove your worth, only to know its not good enough for them. There better be a revenge/redemption arc in the future, cause that was so brutal
I’m liking how isolated Pokemon Horizons is. Like you directly know what type of episodes will be in the arc, the first arc was Liko and Roy’s Departure and we were introduced to Liko and Roy and saw Their independent growth or like the next arc being The Sparkling of Terapagos. That arc focused and highlighted Terapagos. While discovery more of the six heroes. Then the latest arc Terastal Debut, highlighted Terastallization while repairing the Brave Olvine which got damaged in the end of prior arc which made a smooth transition and had a smooth reasoning why they didn’t find any of the six heroes.
Honestly, even though Liko lost, the ending of this arc after her battle with Grusha really showed how much she’s grown. Hopefully she becomes more interesting.
The whole arc was alright, it was good for the characters’ training, but I’m glad to see it coming to an end. The last few episodes were really hype and I can’t wait to see what the next arc has in store 🔥
That energy from the stone the one Explorer used on his Umbreon makes me think of the chemical Koga used on his Rhyhorn in a chapter of the Pokemon Adventures manga to increase its power and comes off a s very sinister.
That final battle had me hyped asf ngl. It genuinely felt like i was watching XY with how amazing the animation was. Also that impact frame at the end of their fight made me lose it 🔥🔥🔥
I'm in the minority in that I didn't care for Team Rocket. I would literally grown and facepalm the second they hit the screen and sigh in relief when they blast off
It's crazy to think that the last time all Starters of a Generation have evolved at least once is freaking Brock's Marshtomp back in AG (since we got Dawn's Piplup, Ash's Oshawott and Snivy, Clemont's Chespin, Ash's GOD Rowlet, and Goh's Grookey afterwards).
The episode 67 was so peak to watch, exactly what i wanted to see a glorious battle between Roy and Liko- Now the question is are they rival? Never forget that Roy got his redemption- *ahem* I mean what a great way to end the season 3, now onto season 4 in October.
Huh, about time the Paldea league is mentioned, and Liko wanting to join shows how much she is further stepping into Ash's shoes! But I doubt she would be the new Paldea Champ, that's too soon but make her loss not terrible and understandable, *I am looking at you Kalos League...*
Literally all the Leagues except Johto: Kanto: Team Rocket interferred and Chrizard was frustrating Hoenn: Lost to a Meowth Sinnoh: Lost to a Legendary-only trainer Unova: Lost to an idiot with 5 Pokemon Kalos: Water type lost to fire type
3 question Q 1. What's gonna happen to Amethio now❓️ Q 2. When is going to be another Pokémon what if episodes❓️ Q 3. Are you looking forward to seeing what Liko, Roy, and Dot are up to now after adventure in Paldea region❓️
“Yes”… I still remember your answer during the podcast. Still thanks for uploading this to time in with arc finale. That way next review batch will be for the new arc, Rayquaza Rising
The battle between Liko and Roy was really fire no pun intended opposed to the Fire Crock Speaking of which that awesome moment when Fuecoco finally evolved into Crocalor a Starter Trio that we haven’t seen all three of them evolve since the Hoenn Starters and hopefully all three of them could reach to their final evolutions Liko and Floragato Roy and Crocalor Dot and Quaxwell Friede and Captain Pikachu they all have potential to become great Characters
To be fair, my thoughts on the liko vs roy battle are different, cause i liked that roy won. Hear me out, even though roy started later his Fueccoco still leveled up on the same pace as Dots Quaxly and Likos spirgatitto. But they evolved before him, but Fueccoco kept pace with them and was on about the same level as floragatto and Quaxwell even though he hadnt evolved yet. So with his evolution i recon he got a power up and with that beat Liko.
ep 67 was easy 10/10 i loved every min of it. Just wait till we see these 2 go all out in a full 6v6 battle. Side note you should do a video one day ranking all the 10/10 eps in pokemon i think that would make a great video
Coming up with new strategies on the fly, having flashbacks of every training they’ve experienced, and seeing their progress as trainers shown to us in full bloom, now that’s what I call a rematch. Also, LETS GO CROCALOR! Thank Arceus, they did not stunt Fuecoco’s evolution.

Then the latest arc Terastal Debut, highlighted Terastallization while repairing the Brave Olvine which got damaged in the end of prior arc which made a smooth transition and had a smooth reasoning why they didn’t find any of the six heroes.
This is like the first time since Hoenn that all the Starters have evolved.
Boot up your not Netflix, everyone!
It's time to get to see a Pokémon Anime Episode in after a decent amount of time
Yessssss!!!!!!
My boy got a good win and fuecoco evolved I’m so happy right now
And apparently the “Eternal Blessing” is the same stuff used in the Detective Pikachu movie
@@ShadowGamer179. Literally the same. 😅
The horizons series is just sm better then the rest of the Pokémon anime, it’s unique and mysterious
Agree
I used to always watche you when I was little i cant believe i found your chanel again
Horizons is doing great when it comes to showing the storylines and arcs
That energy from the stone the one Explorer used on his Umbreon makes me think of the chemical Koga used on his Rhyhorn in a chapter of the Pokemon Adventures manga to increase its power and comes off a s very sinister.
The Blessing is giving Shadow Pokemon vibes
Always love Pokemon episode and your commentary Zach keep up the good work 👍😊
The Pokémon Garland and violet Trio together 7:25
Anyone else remember Zir and Conia? What happened to them?
And Floragato also learned Sucker Punch. She didn’t evolve, but learned a new move. I'll take it!
Can't believe he's still committing to the bit. Gotta respect that.
Episode 67 is all we were all waiting for & it finally happened just great battles between friends & a Grand Evolution 🧬 definitely a 10/10 episode
I love the battle between Roy and liko the fire and the passion and determination behind the battle by far the best episode to date hype for more
That final battle had me hyped asf ngl. It genuinely felt like i was watching XY with how amazing the animation was. Also that impact frame at the end of their fight made me lose it 🔥🔥🔥
It would be cool if we saw a flashback to how amithio and Ceroledge.
Will these episodes influence the future of your Pokémon Scarlet and Violet anime series?
Fuecoco has FINALLY EVOLVED into Crocalor! What a GREAT way to end an arc!!! 😇🥰🤩
@@curtisashby768 Blissey husband is a website that can’t be trusted at all
Time for Amethio to try to restore his honor, realize it doesn’t mean anything, and then eventually join the Rising Volt Tacklers💯😂
Coral and Sidian > Jessie and James
FAX 🗣
In terms of comedy it goes to Team Rocket, in terms of how fun they are to watch it goes to the Explorers
I'm in the minority in that I didn't care for Team Rocket. I would literally grown and facepalm the second they hit the screen and sigh in relief when they blast off
I hope this guy will resume on his Pokémon scarlet and violet animated series
U cold today or smth Zac? XD
Nah but seriously, keep up the good vids Zac!
Never forget that Roy got his redemption- *ahem* I mean what a great way to end the season 3, now onto season 4 in October.
when’s the next Scarlet and Violet what if episode bro?
Huh, about time the Paldea league is mentioned, and Liko wanting to join shows how much she is further stepping into Ash's shoes!
But I doubt she would be the new Paldea Champ, that's too soon but make her loss not terrible and understandable, *I am looking at you Kalos League...*
Literally all the Leagues except Johto:
Kanto: Team Rocket interferred and Chrizard was frustrating
Hoenn: Lost to a Meowth
Sinnoh: Lost to a Legendary-only trainer
Unova: Lost to an idiot with 5 Pokemon
Kalos: Water type lost to fire type
@@ashhabimran239 tell me about it...
@@ashhabimran239 what's next?
Paldea: OP Battle Bonded Witch losses to a fucking Ghost knight?
And soon we'll all watch this great arc again in dub soon.
3 question
Q 1. What's gonna happen to Amethio now❓️
Q 2. When is going to be another Pokémon what if episodes❓️
Q 3. Are you looking forward to seeing what Liko, Roy, and Dot are up to now after adventure in Paldea region❓️
Liko might actually going into the Mahou Shoujo route.
“Yes”… I still remember your answer during the podcast. Still thanks for uploading this to time in with arc finale. That way next review batch will be for the new arc, Rayquaza Rising
The battle between Liko and Roy was really fire no pun intended opposed to the Fire Crock
Speaking of which that awesome moment when Fuecoco finally evolved into Crocalor a Starter Trio that we haven’t seen all three of them evolve since the Hoenn Starters and hopefully all three of them could reach to their final evolutions Liko and Floragato Roy and Crocalor Dot and Quaxwell Friede and Captain Pikachu they all have potential to become great Characters
Gideon probably used Terapagos’s space powers to get that shiny Zygarde.
I look forward to these videos you got the perfect narration voice 🤣
About time they put some respect on Roy
Amethio about to be the Zuko of Pokemon, I cant wait
Damn i kinda want ametheo to join the rvt instead it would be awesome 😎
LET'S GO
He's on his ZUKO trip now begin exiled from his tribe inorder for the future when he eventually joins the RISING VOLT TACKLERS
4:04 Ash vs Paul flashbacks intensified.
I really like ash to make an appearance
Amazing set of episodes!
Happy birthday!
Okay so I just want to say something about the evolution of fuecoco it made me cry.... Like actually cry. seeing how much not only floragato and crocalor have grown but Liko and Roy have grown dot as well it was so beautiful 😂🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
