You have better control at extending your notes. Your notes sound more clear you got better at shifting between ranges and tones. I can definitely hear the difference between what the equipment does and your personal growth.
actually those fancy top notch equipment's exposes one voice if not trained properly , in Joseph case , his voice got better and so did his equipment, i personally wouldn't say the equipment made his voice better, and we have to remember Joseph could always sing , so i feel the equipment statement is garbage , no amount of auto-tune or studio enhancement or equipment tools can make a bad voice sounds good , the voice has to be already there for the sound to sound better. but please folks lets not down play Joseph vocals , he sings better than some of your favourite rappers and singers and that's facts .

Although they're mostly used for metal, I see lots of people use them for fingerstyle playing, but pretty much noone plays and sings at once with a 7 string or 8 string guitar, so I wonder if you ever thought about it or tried to.

Equipment is the same as lights, lenses, makeup etc. I’m sure all the people who said it’s only because of equipment or autotune, aren’t the ones who are trying to build a career like this man.
