I hope it won't take super long to get one dye like how i heard from somewhere that it was cause im sorry but people are already tired of farming stuff for hours. I have been asking for our cosmetics to be colorable for so long and now that we do i wanna be able to enjoy it not have another long farming routine added to my day. 🙏
I think you need to farm A certain color to fill the jar. If it's empty, you cannot die anything .once the color is used, you need to farm again to fill the Jar.
I think it has some farming aspect however specific realms are better for some colors so you gurantee know specific places for whatever color you are going for. Should seemingly only take a few days to get a few stacked up for a whole set persay, let alone once you are comfortable with a set for awhile and wanna stock up on a tiny bit more. It is just burning plants after all, not just a hop skip and leap like getting all 3 lights from Shards Edit: just for refference i'm not a Beta tester im just going off videos ive seen and what beta testers have said
And if you want to be a goth or otherwise monochrome skid you better be ready to pay through the nose with your time bc black and white are going to be the hardest dyes to get. Because why wouldn't they be.

I hope these dark plants will be like a daily thing in realms where we need to collect daily candles so it won’t be too much work to go look for them separately, we already spend hours on farming and it would be so tiring if we had to also go farm for dye’s separately :p

Oh this looks so fun! I’m excited for when the season drops! Not only because of being able to customize our clothes more, but also the new flora and mechanic. I’m one of those nerds that likes to think about the setting and lore in a scientific way. Like are these dark plants just normal ones that have absorbed the colors from their environment, or did they naturally evolve these pigments and sky kids just learned how to harvest the pigment for our own uses? Either way, the butterflies that use the dark plants, either for shelter or food (or the plants are carnivorous and trick the butterflies to eat them) are getting the pigment on/in themselves and they’re the real ones we gather the pigment from.
oooo sky could have a in-game library with magical old books and scrolls full of short stories of lore from different worlds mixed with fan-fiction and progression maps of sky...maybe a treasure hunt to find the Scrolls and bring them to the Library to keep adding to the collection over time! that would be so neat!!!!!

Normal dark plants are already pretty buggy. Keeping that in mind, if they expect us to run around all of the realms to get a minuscule bit of color while having these annoying mechanics on top of that, then I've already lost whatever little interest i had in this season.

I can't believe how much Sky devs seem to enjoy making the players do the most repetitive and long tasks in order to get small rewards. For example: The ticket system for event was a bit slow: they changed it and it's even slower nowadays.
