I actually really love the graphics of this game! There is so many photorealistic games nowadays that something this styleized is a beautiful breath of fresh air. It also looks so nostalgic, perfect for a game about Hobbits! 😊
I absolutely love how the character actually LOOKS at things. When you were next to the swan your character was actually looking at him, and because of your personality he looked so curious, it was so cute
Omg you start as one of the “city hobbits” from Bree. That’s perfect. (Though I pretty much died when the character was named Bungo like Bilbo’s father.)
I'm loving how this game is looking so far and I plan to get it once it releases, although I won't say no to you playing more of it. I quite like crocheting while listening to your playthrough of this game. It's quite comforting
So adorable the way he swings his arms when running around. And the detail of the character are just as visible in gameplay as they were in character creation. And your voice acting brings this whole game to life! So glad I found your channel. You have an amazing voice, I could listen to you talking gobbledygook and just relax into a puddle.
One more thing, speaking from real life experience petting a giant pig followed by a few good "hearty" pats on the back is much more satisfying than imagined! Pigs are such a fascinating creature!😂😊
this was a very relaxing play through, I'm so ecstatic that this IP is being used for a smaller cozy game, it's obvious the devs love this setting. The writing is very promising and I know I'll put a few dozen in this game, at the very least.
@@St4rTr3v1Ut10n All the preset names in the game are actual names of hobbits in the Tolkienverse. Carl, for example, was Samwise's brother-in-law, if I remember correctly.

How did my school computer recommend me to you. Well hello again, I'm watching from my school computer. (this is way more fun than math) I don't think I'll ever see other channels than yours. The commenting and "voice acting" is impeccable, it suits so well with the cosy vibe (so tired of people talking so loud and energetically in playtroughs) I mostly watch non commentary playtroughs but your channel is...like getting an ad for a game that's actually playable. Underrated and immaculate, too underrated even. I hope I'll see you reach 1 mil subscribers. And I need to play this game so bad, bro. Don't mind me writing a whole paragraph. It's my love language.

Amazing my friend! Now this is the absolute definition of the term "cozy game"! And all your fascinating and charming character voices just give it that little bit of "cozy" that it lacked and it made me want to never stop watching and listening to the story being told! It's almost like watching a recreated version of "The Hobbit" movie being told by your soothing style of narration and story-telling... Thank you for being transported to incredibly fascinating world of hobbits, wizards, dwarfs, and the wide array of other species and creatures that exist in a world of magic!
Oh my god 😭 that little cooking and shared meal feature is from my dreams, I’ve been looking for mods for something like that for stardew lol, are there other games with that feature??
Wow, I had my doubts about this game, but this looks adorable! And I’m glad they talk sort of like how they do in the books, it really adds to the charm. Although, how did Orlo put the mail in your postbox when he was too hungry to remember he had your mail? And how did he get your mail if you hadn’t even moved in yet? 😂 P.S. I love rhubarb. Just be sure to add enough sugar to balance out the sour. It’s got just the best sweet-tart flavor
That’s so cool you got to play this game! I hope to play it someday. I love what you said about your favorite thing being to sit by water, watch birds, I feel the same way.
I am absolutely in love with this game already from what I’ve seen! I was hoping you’d do a video on it, and here we are! Love your videos, and commentary on the games you showcase! 💕💕
such a cute game and overall concept, they've done a fantastic job of the world building- I've been to the Hobbiton set twice and they most recently added a fully decked out and decorated house to explore and the details are insane, its translated well to cozy game style for sure!
I liked the look of this game, looks very calming to play. I'm currently playing My Time at Sandrock and it's very manic trying to make everything in time 😂
Oh my god this just brought back a core memory of eating custard with rhubard! It came in a little plastic container with the rhubard in a little triangle attached and you tipped the rhubard bit into the custard to eat it. Now I've got to see if it's even still made and get some
There was a cartoon called Rhubarb and Custard about a cat and a dog named (obviously) Rhubarb and Custard. Possibly the treat also felt extra special because it was so seasonal. I certainly think that my love for apricot jam mostly comes from only ever having it around Christmas time (my parents only bought this jam flavour to ice the family's Christmas cake - apricot jam, then marzipan, then icing I think was the order. and any left over jam could be used for anything).
Something about the aesthetic reminds me of a Lego game gone rogue. And I'm okay with that! It's very chipper and cutesy. Like someone else mentioned - it's nice that someone finally made a LoTR game that isn't all about war and strife and death! We've always heard about how beautiful and peaceful the Shire is, and we *finally* get to experience it. (Also, my boys are always worried that we're late for school - even though we never are - and I tell them exactly that: We're wizards; we arrive precisely when we mean to.)
What a delight!! I've been waiting for you to play this Morph. All your voices are just perfect! The whole feel of the game has a lovely sense of nostalgia to it. It really feels like the developers have finally made a game for people like me, who don't like fighting the bad guys and just want to stay in the village, make friends, forage, decorate and be merry. 💚
This is a proper Hobbit game, it is! I hope as they add more features they'll really lean into the Fantasy English Cottagecore aspects of the Shire, gossip, drama, and grudges included. Some of those old villages would collapse entirely if everyone suddenly got along. Lol. There was a children's show that aired in the 70s called Roobarb and Custard. If you were a tyke back then, you probably watched it.
If you watch the birds they're landing on the side of the direction side pointing in the direction you're supposed to go. That's such a subtle guidance, I love it.

Back when she was a kid, my mom would go into the back garden with a little cup of sugar and pick the rhubarb there then dip it in the sugar and just munch away! I've never had rhubarb but I'd love to try it!
