For new Lenovo laptop bios. Check if after bios update the Intel VMD Controller is not set to: Enabled. It may cause problems with detecting your hard drive. Set it to Disabled, And check if Sata controller mode is set to AHCI.
When I try to change it to AHCI is gives a warning that says: all existing data stored on the drivers will be erase when resetting controller mode, does that mean that all my data and files will be deleted?

Hello good sir! Great explanation and I’m glad I got this far. Only problem is, I don’t have a Boot mode option. It’s not even greyed out, it’s just not there. I tried disabling secured boot like you suggested but I still did not get the option to change the boot mode. Any suggestions?
If you cant find or do not have that option in your Lenovo computer, then move on and try the rest of the steps in this updated video: ua-cam.com/video/oL1R1Tw0jSo/v-deo.html. Does your Lenovo have diagnostic test ability as seen there?
@@PC_Monkey It does not, or at least I don’t think so. I tried hitting Enter instead of F2 like you had said to in the updated video. I even took the back of the laptop off to try and reseat the hard drive but I could not locate it. It may have been inside what looked to be this black tape incased unit. It was all covered and protected. But nothing looked like the encased hard drive that you had in the video.
It worked thank you, I unplugged everything and it worked, but I don’t know what caused it in the first place or how to fix why it thinks something else is the HD (or whatever)
You may need to adjust your boot priority in BIOS. The HDD may not be set to the first place if the computer was trying to boot off of a USB connected device.

@@PC_Monkey i cant find legacy on boot mode i only can find UFEI
@@bambooboygaming2521 If changing the settings in BIOS didnt help your situation or you cannot manage to change them, move on to try the reinstall of Windows as seen here; ua-cam.com/video/Wu0c8wR5Ltk/v-deo.html. You can create your own Install Media for free as seen here; ua-cam.com/video/g_UhiHScaSI/v-deo.html. If that does not work, it is because your Hard Drive is bad and needs to be replaced as shown here; ua-cam.com/video/tNp5Kbo9uHg/v-deo.html.
After update Bios there was no boot devices, After watching ur video it works fine.
Thank u for making this video.
Happy to help :) Always here if needed !!
I'm pressing the Fn+F2 button but the BIOS is not popping up (I've also tried other keys but it's still not working),What's the reason for that? (is it a hard drive problem?)
What are you seeing on your screen when you try to start your Lenovo?
@@PC_Monkey When i start my lenovo ,the logo drags on for some time and it shows the "no bootable device" screen
@@ashywashy... Some Lenovo computer have a 'Nova' button or a pinhole reset feature on the side, rear, or underneath. Does yours?
@@PC_Monkey My computer has the 'pin hole' reset feature,What do I do with it?
@@ashywashy... 1. Insert a pin and see if that helps the boot up process :)
2. If that fails and if changing the settings in BIOS didnt help your situation or you cannot manage to change them, move on to try the reinstall of Windows onto your Lenovo as seen here; ua-cam.com/video/l3AVGlVWUsI/v-deo.html. You can create your own Install Media for free as seen here; ua-cam.com/video/g_UhiHScaSI/v-deo.html. If you cant create your own, you may have to purchase it. You can see an example of a good install media USB in the Repair Tools list here; www.amazon.com/shop/pcmonkey.
If that does not work, it is because your Hard Drive is bad and needs to be replaced as shown here; ua-cam.com/video/tNp5Kbo9uHg/v-deo.html.
