Tis video is from back in the beginning of October (exactly 3-months ago). It was the last thing done on the exterior of the building so that I wouldn't get stuck working out there in the nasty weather. I hope to be past that area soon, but I need to wrap-up the planer rebuild first - and Sherwin-Williams ran out of spray bomb cans so I need to shift the schedule a bit to reflect that. Anyway, enjoy the flashback to warmer times 😊

This is a flash back! It's weird not seeing the compressor and dust collection setup. And no snow!

I agree! The compressor actually runs on occasion, but I was only there once when it happened! I cant wait to be able to use the machines though - it's about time.

Hi Mojo I was a little confused when watching the video when you mentioned putting the faucet in yesterday but when I got to reading your post it all came clear and it was a nice change good job.

Thanks Larry! I've had this video on my desktop for the last three months, and It got lost in the shuffle. 🤣 It was kind of nice seeing the greenery though! Only a few months and we'll be getting that back, but at the moment, it's -5℉ (-20.5℃) outside 🥶It is so nice to have heat! 🔥🔥

We will be putting in three, but in our case it will really need it. One-each on the long sides, and we debated the ends because we have garage doors on both ends and will have outlets through the doors - but I will have a rolling bench to work outside in the back, and will have outdoor airlines back there as well. Having said all that, I could likely get away with two. 😉 God luck with with your project RedRock!

we put in a steel frame building 30/35ft that i am finnishing out , my wife has ashma so we went with rigid foam ins, and i am putting a 5/16 thick ply (for something to nail to latter) then a white 4/8 wall board over . i am running my wiring on the top also, 4 outlets / box most places , i have a mini to put in but want to finish that wall before i put it in and got sidetracked with life (house repairs) so its been waiting . also i am going to have to move some stuff that i put in out of weather and other sheds not as good!! i put in the harbor freight 5000 lum led lights have been very good lighting and they have now went up to the 5500 lum for about the same price . as you i have lots to do on it! good luck and have fun!!

We started our planning for our shop with 24' x 24', and slowly went up from there. Then we went to 24' x 30', then quickly to 24' x 36'. To go 30' wide we had to cut into the hill and put in a wall, but once we did that we quickly went to 36' x 40', and wound up at 36' x 48'! I'm very glad we did though, because as soon as the skin was on we lost two temporary shelters and needed places for that stuff. We will have 9-13,000 lumen lights for the main lights when all is said and done, but will have it on 3-circuits so we don't have to blast all of that light all the time 💡💡💡💡💡😮 I'm hoping to me done rebuilding this planer very soon so I can get the foam wall covered. I am hoping for a working shop by Spring 🤞Will your building be a woodshop?

@@frrapp2366 My wife and daughter have a room (not built yet) inside of our building for crafting as well, and there's a small garage area for the Gator, mower, and gardening junk. I'd like to put my air compressor, dust collector as well as a wood burning stove in a separate building attached to the main shop, but that will have to wait until this shop is done. We plan to pour slabs on both ends of the shop as well. I'd like to roll my workbench outside on nice days and work outside. May set-up our old shelter logic greenhouse again and use it for drying wood. So much to do and so little time to do it! 😉

Did you misplace a video? Pretty interesting nonetheless 😉

Yes, I did! I knew it was there, but other things were more important so I kept pushing it to the side. Oh well, back to the planer tomorrow 😉
