After some time away from UA-cam to sort some personal & professional issues, I'm back. During my time away I decided to pursue an interest that caught my attention some time ago...

The Boosted Board is bi-directional i.e. it can travel both forwards and backwards. Can the same be said about the Chinese boards, notably the Magneto board?

+James GameSparks Not without (a simple) modification. I have just taken delivery of a new ESC (the same make/model as these boards use), and by default it has reverse enabled. When I set it up I can choose to keep this enabled. I haven't checked all the settings yet but when I do it'll be interesting to see exactly how I can configure the board. It should be noted that personally I'm not interested in having reverse on my boards. I've never used it on my Boosted Board.

+Dr Circuit Skate forward, release the accelerator, use your hips to drive you into a 180 spin, hit the reverse and carry on.

+E-Boarding Hi EB. I haven't opened it up so I can't speak from experience but their site has some info:
      metro-board.com/shop/40-metroboard-slim-electric-longboard-stealth-black/
Doesn't say what type of lithium batteries are used though.
